When the President embarked on the overhaul of the healthcare system, one of the first points of attack was to be the hospitals and other medical providers who have been able to pass on inflated costs to the insurance companies for years. The line of attack was the cost structure. Neither party had the stones to follow the President into that fight. Fast-forward to what was passed, a bill filled with many centrist – and Republican – ideas like insurance exchanges and 100% participation (buy insurance or get penalized/taxed). Yes, that last point is a Republican idea, created in 1993. It makes sense too. Because the last thing the system needs is partial participation where only those who need it buy into it. That’s what we have now. Just go to an inter-city ER if you don’t believe me. None of those uninsured can be turned away and you and I are the losers in that scenario.
You are correct in that the winners in yesterday’s ruling include those who you mentioned. But how we got there is not as simple as you, FOX news, and Sarah Palin would have you believe.
You can continue on with your usual ranting and raving and silly slogans. They do nothing but make you look…silly.

Why would someone who won’t pay his own health care pay a fine?
