Markel has announced that it will now work with Experian Data Breach Resolution to provide loss control resources to its DataBreach policy holders. Owners of Markel’s DataBreach policy now will have access to Experian’s breach response services, including incident response management, notification and letter shop services, credit monitoring and identity protection, call center support, and fraud resolution assistance.
Experian Data Breach Resolution, a part of ConsumerInfo.com Inc., an Experian company, offers an all-inclusive data breach resolution option for policy holders by balancing the need for compliant notifications and incident management with the protection needs of the individuals affected in a breach.
Markel’s DataBreach policy includes a supplementary payments section that responds to notification and credit monitoring costs. This coverage is provided outside of the limit of liability and is not subject to a deductible.
