As long as y’all are working on a new modeling system to include storm surge, why not add a segment for rainfall?

Sandy pushed a LOT of water ahead of it. Thankfully, though, it didn’t drop a lot of rain on us. Had it been ‘typical’ we could have had another foot or so of rainwater on top of us in the swamp.

And why would it take a couple of years to get a model? Isn’t there enough computer data to correlate something a little faster?
