    I would even take it a step further and say that you cannot sue if are injured while committing any crime unless you can prove that you would still have sustained the same injury if you were not committing a crime.
    No more “attractive nuisance” claims for people injured while trespassing.

    Doe this pertain to pedestrians too? Can pedestrians sue if they’re hit by a vehicle?

    If you have the signs of a more serious injury, you will receive treatment right there. However, if your injuries take some time to appear, then the record of your accident will be in the system and you can connect your future treatments back to it. This provides you – and your attorney – with a thorough record should you need to sue the driver who was at fault.
