Another example of wasteful government spending. undojubtedly this law was passed because some folks thought it was a good idea, but was never vetted publicly to see if it was at all useful or needed. I wonder how many other useless laws exist on the books involving expenditures that could be cut from the budget. The problem is that so many of these laws are passed and forgotten but the money just keep flowing into them while politicians contrive new means of extracting more funding from citizens to pay for more and more pet projects. It has to stop somewhere or we’ll never return from the fiscal cliff we finally fall over.
