I love it: NFIP “has borrowed billions from taxpayers to cover claims.” Ha! So when can I as a taxpayer expect a check from NFIP in my mailbox repaying me the money that this screwball program has “borrowed” from me? As usual, NAMIC is right in there promoting this collectivist “we” nonsense. When someone in America makes an emotional plea that “we” must do something, remember that what they really mean is that the government central planners must do something. Then hang on to your wallet.
