I’m shocked. Sadly, I’ll be more shocked by bipartisan cooperations to fix this thing. I’m talking about the democrats, by the way. I think, the republicans can take a less aggressive approach on this wave of changes and the dems will almost HAVE to take it. Otherwise the dems are toast next election.

If the repubs will just fix the worst issues, then wait a while and see what is the next most troublesome part, they can slowly change the ACA. Maybe even get rid of it by the end of the process. Or, at least remove the sections causing the problems.

You are right jw. Every house member and every Democratic Senator who voted for this travesty are directly in the cross hairs in the next election cycle. They will face primary challenges only to face a Republican in the general election who will point out every day that they voted for it and didn’t fix it. I can only imagine some of the town halls with angry voters.

I hope they point it out, over and over and over again. Let no one forget where this came from, who hired the contractors that completely and totally messed this up, who hired the directors that were in charge of the oversite who knew nothing, who covered for Sebilius, Obama and all the others.

Okay, everyone, time to stop in digging in your heels. Other than trying to disband it completely (and I’m looking at you Ted Cruz and Government Shutdown), now is your time to fix what is broken.

I agree with Clinton — this promise should be kept — and changes do need to be made — as they are with every national program. If the GOP really does want input into how it operates, now is the time to offer suggestions and solutions.

Wrong Celtica. Shut it down, turn it off, start from scratch. And do it in a bipartisan matter with input from both sides of the aisle unlike the initial abortion formed only in the minds of Democrats. Unless of course you are the one digging in your heels and want to start from the place of a law written by ONE party. Put the shoe on the other foot for once in your life and think about how you’d react if a bad law was forced down your throat by the Republicans and you were asked to negotiate from there. You’re a liar, much like your President, if you say you would agree to that.

Dave – many laws are written by only one party. I don’t see why anyone would object to taking the existing law and changing it on a bi-partisan basis. If the right isn’t willing to do that, then shame on them. Then they are the all-or-nothing dig-in-their-heels party.

Libby, Many laws have been written by one party, but can you cite on law prior to Obamacare that didn’t have one vote from one party in either the House or Senate? This ill conceived law was rammed down the American People’s throat on strictly a partisan basis without our consent or approval. The only way to fix this is to scrap it and start over again, this time with bi-partisan support. Every mandate should go and offer different plans based on what the people actually want, not just offer deductible options or out of pocket maximums on the same basic mandated coverages.

Libby, the law you have liked is full of mandates for Individuals and Business. The mandates have to go, PERIOD. Options is what people want. Let them make up their own mind what kind of policy they want. Back in the day, we sold 4 different Individual policies with Blue Cross with Co-pays, prescription cards, maximum out of pocket and numerous deductibles. The idea is either good, better or best and let the customer decide, not what the government mandates they should have.

I find it quite stunning the US Govt. could not create a website capable of handling this. United Healthcare doesn’t have this problem with their site, nor does Aetna. For that matter, neither does 99% of the websites belonging to large entities. Obama had one thing to get correct and he didn’t do it. Again.

For what it’s worth, has anyone checked out the prices online? WOW… In MO, for just myself, I have only two options. I have more options than that by avoiding Obamacare altogether. My two options, and neither are of the ‘gold’ variety, are both DOUBLE what I currently pay. I am fortunate to have a solid paying career. How could someone who makes under $40k (most of this area) possibly afford the “affordable health care act”??? They can’t, which is why they aren’t signing up. There is nothing affordable about this. It is almost $400 per month for a non-gold plan for a 39 year old male in this area. How is that affordable by anyones standard?

My prediction – The wealthier, and healthier, will be ok. The people who truly need this healthcare (cancer patients and others being denied medical coverage elsewhere) will be a MASSIVE drain on this system and the rates will continually increase in 2015 and beyond. With not enough younger, and healthier, patients signing up, there is no where for the rates to go but up. In order to “level the playing field”, watch and see if this doesn’t become an act that is forced upon all of us. It is the only way they could ever make it work. And by work, I mean the only way they can continually screw the working people in this country. This act hasn’t helped any of the working poor. It has done nothing but divide the gap even further between the upper middle class and the flat out broke. 2016 can’t get here soon enough.

So Dave — you’d rather be part of the problem rather than part of the solution. As for the foot on the other shoe, I lived though the Bush II years — so I did my time when the country was run by Republicans.

The ACA already passed the smell test with the Supreme Court — so it won’t be shut down and no amount of foot stomping and not eating your broccoli will change that.

So you can either be part of the change you’d like to see or continue to insist you weren’t invited to the dance — when everyone knows you were.

Why is it that not one Dem wants to consider the easier more cost effective way by OPENING UP COMPETITION ACROSS STATE LINES??? Supposedly, they are big players in the Democratic Party and will feed the other Democrats to demand action. They are definitely in a feeding frenzy with their jobs on the line. The voters are going to fit them with cement boots and they will end up at the bottom of the Potomac if they don’t turn this around real soon. What a nightmare for the American People!

Only problem: OBAMA DOES NOT WANT REPUBLICAN’S HELP. He demonstrated this during the whole “Republican Shutdown” where he refused to entertaining even DELAYING the ACA. He wanted to blame them for being “obstructionists” and would sooner negotiate with Iran or Syria before the Republicans. Had the ACA been even mildly successful in its rollout, he would have bathed in its glory. It will be tough for him to recover from this one, even some of his staunchest supporters are distancing themselves.

    1) Forcing insurers to insure burning barns, at rates same as non-burning ones.

    2) Forcing insurers to provide policies that insureds don’t want, for higher prices, to subsidize #1, resulting in fewer insurance bought and sold.

    3) Forcing people to buy insurance even if they don’t want it, to subsidize #1 and #2 above.

    4) Using taxpayer money to pay for those in item #3 above, for those who are FOD’s, friends of Democracts.

Of course, they don’t have any guarantees that security has been installed to protect personal information. It is interesting seeing Carney doing his two step and promising the web site fix will be finished by the end of the month. With the credibility of this White House at nearing 0, I think people will be reluctant to go back and try again unless there is a major breakthrough and that appears to be unlikely.

Yes, the voters give a “mandate” to their elected leaders to “do something.” But the “something” we give them a “mandate” “to do” is NOT to then turn around and mandate US to do something. They are supposed to SERVE us, not the other way around. We are THEIR bosses, they work for US. They are not supposed to act like they have more power over us than we do over them. That’s not what we “mandated” them “to do” when we elected them.

Agent B, be careful in your trashing of the Supreme Court. Justice Roberts is a genious. He crafted his decision in such a way as to sink Obamacare. If you remember, the Democrats were talking out of both sides of their mouth (much like they always do) when arguing for it. They referred to it as a penalty one day and as tax another day. Justice Roberts accepted it as a “tax”. Any penalty that a non-buyer of Obamacare pays is deemed a “tax”. If not, the whole thing collapses. It is becoming more and more apparent that millions out there will pay the “tax” rather than buy Obamcare. Which means the Democrats will have to raise the “tax” so it is more like a penalty so more people will be forced to buy it. Well if they do that, the “tax” becomes a “penalty” and they whole thing falls apart as unconstitutional. Just watch, and remember where you heard it first.

Yes, I can see your point and YES, I applaud Justice Roberts intelligence.

        However,

Justice Roberts, should have stood up for the American people instead of being a FENCE RIDING politician that did not want to ruffle any feathers amongst his colleagues.

His inaction has put us in the situation that we are in …

The fact is, that he knew this was going to happen and didn’t have the GUMPTION to stand up for it … instead he chooses the WEAK submissive, lethargic approach.

That is half of what’s wrong with our country, not enough people willing to stand up for what is right … people want to shrug their shoulders and say …

Well you know … It will work itself out.

I wonder where our country would be if our forefathers would have sat idly by and let Britain imposed it’s nightmarish rule on the colonies … ???

What we need is the American people to rise up and say enough is enough … and have another Boston Insurance Party …

Had Roberts managed to get the law ruled unconstitutional, Congress and the Administration might have been forced to come together to work out an alternative to this outrage by now. All he did was give them the tacit approval to proceed with screwing the American People. By the way, the Supreme Court is not on Obamacare.

Agent B – while I understand what you’re saying, many Americans did stand up for what they believed when they voted Obama into office, not once but two times, on his platform which highlighted healthcare reform. What we did not vote for was a Congress that would be at each other’s throats and total gridlock in Washington. The majority of us were for healthcare reform. Just not in the form it’s taking now.

Uninformed voters didn’t bother to read what is in obamacare, they were wanting a handout and that is what got him reelected…that and the illegal aliens that are allowed to vote in so many states. Not many wanted to know who this man was or what he stood for but they did understand that he would see to it that they got handouts.

We are clearly trading one group of “uninsured” for another. What have we accomplished except that the new group of uninsured (those who had coverage in the past and were able to pay for that or had it through employment) are better able to pay the fines when they decide they cannot afford the newer “better” higher priced plans.

The Affordable Health care Act; 1) Is NOT Affordable, 2) Is going to put our country into bankrupsy, the enrollee’s that are going to pay for it are not signing up, 3) Program should have never been passed and those that voted for it should be identifies and voted out of office.

Anything outside the customer buying a product or service directly from the provider is ultimately perverse and will have a negative effect on prices. Whenever any third party pays a bill, costs will rise due to a lack of downward force on prices by the consumer and market. This is even worse when the taxpayer pays since the cost is hidden (through inflation of the currency). We are now many decades into the government pouring money into the healthcare markets through various means and the price distortions have become massive. It’s no surprise that we are now on the verge of a complete takeover of our healthcare markets on par with banana republics. I guess this will match the rising police state found in banana republics that is forming in the name of terror protection. The founders were smart men and they did all that they could to keep us from destroying ourselves through government but I think that we can finally say that the system has failed and we are nearly returned to the primitive totalitarian government controlled economies of the past which can only bring suffering and poverty. It’s only a matter of time unless there is a serious change in direction.

When you post FACTS and STATEMENTS that when checked are totally incorrect, that makes you WRONG.

I have no inner conflicts. I am fiscally conservative and do not like many things going on in our government. I do, unlike you, blame both sides. I admitted I was wrong about the ACA, but still am in favor of healthcare reform. I am concerned about the debt, am in favor of smaller government, and would like to see tax reform. That’s my conservative side (fiscally).

I am for gay rights, women’s rights, equality for all, and am pro-choice. I want equal access to healthcare for every American as I think that is one of our inalienable rights. That is my liberal side.

To give you an example how someone can be both: I am for giving a helping hand to someone in need, but am not in favor of them taking advantage of it. I think welfare programs (including corporate welfare) need to be reformed.

If you can’t understand my position, you are just a dolt. I explained it to you 100 times. But you don’t listen and just continue to parrot the same 5 to 10 points you always do. You really need to get an imagination and a new schtick. You’re wearing me out.

By the way, she has consistantly said she is for a smaller government. I think she may have even listed various items that she would cut if given the chance.

It is feasible to be socially considerate and fiscally conservative. Equality doesn’t cost the governement anything, and that is what we want.

The ACA is a mess. I don’t know if it’s enough of a mess to get voters to the polls. You can’t depend on the voters to make sweeping changes. I think that was one of the surprises of 2012. The politicians in power now need to figure out a fix, even if it’s only a little at a time.

I agree the mandated coverages are the biggest problem. Dropping those would save money on lawsuits and allow people to keep their insurance. I’m asking for a miracle, expecting the house and senate to do this.

Overcharge them for it too so Obama can give your money to someone else to buy the crap they don’t want to buy, or need to buy, that is overpriced and unaffordable, or to someone too lazy to work or too stupid to trade the SUV and flat panel for a used sedan to afford what they really need.

I’m going to “subsidize” anyone who makes under 90k so they can buy crap they don’t want or need???

Ever try to mix oil and water? What have you got? I do agree that ACA is the mother of all messes. This cannot be fixed a little at a time when the fundamental premise of it is wrong. This isn’t just a website glitch, but a mandate problem. Those mandates have got to go. No insurance company can leave them in and make a go of it since they will be picking up so much more exposure. Premiums will continue to skyrocket as more sick people enroll and the young are giving it a wide berth.

They only intended to keep this plan in place for 2-3 years until 01/01/2014 when the new law took full force and there would be no need for the PCIP.GOV (Precondition Insurance Plan)

This plan ran out of money in less than 18 months … yet we are going to let the government handle our healthcare from here forward … Like some rednecks down in the South say …

He also admitted it was “complicated” which is obviously above his pay grade. If Health Insurance is that complicated, how about hiring the best and brightest to start with? Interesting that a former President needs to remind a current President to keep his word. Weird.

Also, irrelevant entirely. The great minority Americans covered by commercially procured insurance are in the individual marketplace. This squeaky wheel caught the media’s attention but the true majority of us covered by insurance are covered by plans procured through employers in the group market.

Of those, the majority are covered through small group plans. Turns out that in many states carriers stopped offering PPACA non-compliant plans for all renewals immediately after the passage of the law in 2010. That’s right. No opportunity to grandfather a plan if the plan is no longer offered by carrier. That is the case for nearly every single small group in the state of PA.

How does the Presidential brain trust propose that we undo that?

Oh, and for those looking forward to fewer bumps in the road, consider all the association plans who took advantage of early renewals. For many of these very large groups of employees, November of 2014 will be the great day of reckoning. Indeed, these plans have too been banished by PPACA and will no longer exist thereafter, leaving enrolled members with, you guessed it, no ability to keep what they had if they liked it.

For the relatively few large employers who decided to grandfather plans, they are stuck in a horrid limbo. Nearly no changes can be made to plan or cost to employee. And so, you can keep it but you cannot afford to keep it so you really cannot keep it.

Politics are irrelevant to this argument. There was never a time where people were truly allowed to keep what they had. Never.

Passing a bill to let people keep what they have? That ship has sailed. Companies for the most part would be foolish to reinstate a cancelled program without protection against adverse selection -especially if it turns out to be an exemption for only for a year. A permanent fix to allow people to return to their old policies indefinitely would mean that none of the Obama care mandates for coverage would be defensible. It is a mess and all Obama’s horses and all Obama’s people cannot put it back together again. Jimmy Carter can now pass on the title of the worst ever American President.

Hey Original, the health insurance carriers spent 3 1/2 years programming their computers and complying with the 12,000 pages of regulations and spent millions doing it. Now, the government wants them to belay their cancellations and rescind the ones sent out at a cost of many more millions? Then, they have to cover all the PreX crowd clamoring for coverage with no adverse selection protection. Hmm! How fast can they ask for subsidies to stay in business? By the way, I saw that the government announced that they had 106,000 applicants on the various state exchanges and the ill fated unsecure healthcare.gov. I wonder how many of those were moved over into Medicaid. Probably 70-80% at a minimum.

If there are four times the amount of people qualified for medicaid than obamacare, they themselves admitted early on that was not good………….states will suffer and state taxes. AGain, why I am glad my state opted out of exchanges…our state taxes will not get hit and we let the feds figure it out. Question is how long it will be before the insurers pull off the exchanges as a distribution system and stop writing there???? no carriers, no obamacare.

So the liar in charge screwed up the healthcare system for 85% of Americans to give 15% the opportunity to buy healthcare coverage. But instead he let 15% that had healthcare coverage lose it and can’t get the 15% he wanted on it even sign up for coverage. Hmmmm. Does that mean we now have close to 30%, maybe more without health insurance?
I have said all along it is bad legislation. Kill it and go back and leave the 85% who have it alone and find a more economical way to provide an expanded version of Medicaid to those who don’t have it but can pay something for it.

Obamacare was to be a single-payer, government program all along, but since that wouldn’t have made it through even the two Democratically controlled houses back in 2010, a compromise was reached to keep private insurers in the mix. But, the language and the regulations substantially altered that part, as we are now seeing. Obama always wanted a single-payer plan and this problem of “unanticipated” cancellations of so many existing policies is the perfect opportunity to impose it. I predict he will first propose a law allowing the government to financially assist people whose policies are being cancelled and who either cannot afford Obamacare in its current form or who are very sick, need insurance right away, but cannot afford it, either. That proposal will not make it through the Republican-controlled House and Obama will once again call them obstructionists. But this time, he might be able to declare an emergency crisis and attempt to use an emergency executive order to solve it. Whether or not that works or the law continues as is, the working taxpayer will still bear the lion’s share of Obamacare costs in two ways: higher premiums and deductibles and additional taxes to make up for the inevitable shortfalls. (Wealth re-distribution, anyone?)

Speaking of taxes, Obama has publicly stated many times that he’ll protect the middle class and not raise their taxes. Well, didn’t the Supreme Court rule that Obamacare is a tax? So, between those higher Obamacare premiums and deductibles, which include funding free and subsidized coverage for others, it looks like the working middle class is definitely going to be paying higher taxes. It looks like that promise is going in the same direction as “You can keep your current plan and your doctor. Period.”

How about Detroit trading him to Texas for next year? We have Yu Darvish and need another stud to put out there. The article I saw said Detroit may not be able to afford him which wouldn’t surprise me given the circumstances of the economy there.

Besides that we could replace Prince in the line up with Martinez and probably have a better team batting average. Scherzer will probably get 20 plus Mill in his next contract.
If we had a closer in the playoffs or someone who had not collapsed, we would be hanging a Worlds Series banner at the park.

Sherzer and Verlander are great pitchers and should win most of the time if the hitters are even average. Look at what Oakland has done. They have great young pitching, an average hitting team, play good defense and keep beating people with about a $30 million payroll. What do the Yankees spend, $250 million and they don’t even make the playoffs? They must be the Democrats of baseball.

I have tried to get through it several times and have to throw my hands up. The intention is clear though as a wealth re-distribution scheme which is sure to bankrupt the country. They ruined healthcare for 85% of the population in order to give more free stuff to the 15%. The enrollees are the sick and the Medicaid people so it is sure to exceed the $1.6 Trillion cost that was recently forecast.

Why do we need maternity care? And pediatric dental care? Our youngest is a senior in high school, think she is a little past pediatric dental. Just two of the 10 madatory items that really confuse me. But, if you like your plan you can keep. Thank God I am retired Air Force and can keep my Tricare Prime! And yes I pay for this, it is not free as I was promised.

Wyoming — Thank you for your service in the Air Force.

I can think of two things right off the bat — your children will have insurance coverage until they finish college. And what if they developed a condition during this time that was then excluded in their employment career as a pre-existing condition? This pre-existing coverage allows people the freedom to change employers. Heaven forbid they were downsized through no fault of their own and the new employer could not or would not cover them? It removes a lot of uncertainly from people’s futures.

But now I have to carry additional insurance for one daughter who is married and on her own. Tricare Prime will cover her for an additional $300 month on top of monthly premium. So, my wife took out insurance through her employer for one child even though she has not used it yet, she gets her care via Planned Parenthood at no cost to her. And thank God the wife can cover the daughter, I checked into ACA via the exchange and a comparable place would be over $1600 a month for my family. Real affordable!

“President Barack Obama announced a fix to the vexing problem of canceled health insurance policies Thursday, saying insurers don’t have to cancel plans next year just because of the Affordable Care Act.

Insurers can continue the plans for 2014 on two conditions — they have to tell people just what their plans don’t cover, and they have to tell people that they do have the option of going onto the health insurance exchanges to buy new plans with federal government subsidies and perhaps even to go onto Medicaid.

“Insurers can extend current plans that otherwise would have been cancelled in 2014,” Obama said.”

And BTW – if all the people who were given cancelations are able to now keep their old polices for at least one year – all 5 million of them – where is he going to get the money to fund the people who are supposedly signing up? Quite the ripple effect; don’t you think? Especially since a lot of the people who did actually enroll were mostly Medicaid and, and, the ones who weren’t haven’t even made a payment so far. I think Obama’s hole keeps on getting deeper and deeper.

Exactly where they have been all along. Don’t you keep up with current news, Celtica? And of how Obama is backing the terrorist in that country with our tax dollars where Christians are being hacked to death even as we speak. Notice how the mainstream media that you listen to doesn’t cover much of those stories. The monastery, where they speak the ancient language that Jesus spoke Aramaic, was taken over by Muslim terrorist and our government is sending them money. Disgusting. I don’t know how Obama sleeps at night – but if I had to guess – I bet he sleeps just fine. No conscience

Seriously??? AGAIN with the “Well, BUSH LIED ABOUT IRAQ” bit? Why don’t we go back further and bring up the fact that Clinton could have taken out Bin Laden when he had the chance but didn’t. Yeah, you’ll probably blame Reagan for backing the mujahideen against the Russians.

My point? Bringing up unrelated history does not change the fact that this is Obama’s mess. HE owns this, NOT Bush. Not Cheney. Not Rumsfeld, Scooter Libby, Rush Limbaugh Fox News, Syria, Putin, Iran or anyone else. It’s not the fault of the Republicans for not supporting it, HE WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ANY OTHER IDEAS.

As for input, the Repubicans refused to take part. Period. Therefore, they have to live with the results. As elected officials they shirked their duties. Period.

Actually Celtica, Bush was trying to work through the useless UN on inspections and sanctions. They passed 17 resolutions and when they had given all that extra time to Sadam, he had just the right amount of time to squirrel his WMD’s away. They went to Syria. I wonder how many of those weapons they still have with Russia on the scene and guaranteeing the safety. Hmm! Putin is enjoying seeing us dangle at the end of the rope. The next big thing is to make a sweetheart deal with Iran and lifting sanctions against them. I am sure they will bargain in good faith.

As I expected someone would, Libby indicated earlier that my message failed to cite George H.W. Bush’s comment, “Read my lips. No new taxes” I was already prepared to respond that two wrongs don’t make it right. Just because someone broke a promise doesn’t give license to anyone else to do the same. In fact, believe those who think that gives them license to do the same are weak-minded, dishonest individuals.

Hey Rusty, H W only said it one time and he was castigated for it. This man has said the same lie at least 39 times in front of the country and said it so many times, it got through to the low information voters who are now being cancelled and are angry about it. All politicians lie, but the current one is the whopper of all time. He knew this was coming for over three years and still perpetuated it because he knew he couldn’t get the law passed if people were going to lose their coverage. H W didn’t know what was going on with the economy until he was presented with what was going on with revenue and the big shortfall.

OK, folks. I get the differences in opinion about lies. Still, when someone knows the truth but keeps publicly reciting the same opposing statements, I believe that becomes a lie. I recall hearing that he had been informed about the insurance cancellation issue (if he hadn’t, shame on the administration for hiding it and for him in not asking the right questions) but chose to ignore it and kept telling the same story in order to get the bill passed – his primary concern. He wanted it passed immediately with no rewrites or changes. I must ask, how do you pass a sweeping law like that? Well, if you are in power and groveling at the foot of your leader, who you believe can do no wrong, go along. Like always, he may have felt that people would simply forget what he said when the truth came out and he’d get his usual pass from the press. Besides that, he also knows that if you keep telling the same story over and over again, a lot of people will ultimately believe it as truth. As he is undoubtedly surrounded by people who constantly praise and support him, I’m sure he feels he is above the fray. He really had to swallow a tough pill with this one and it may also prove to be the undoing of the whole goal of transforming the country. As for a major effect of Obamacare the (taxpaying) middle class that he professes to protect (repeated often, that becomes a truth) is actually thrown under the bus by this law with higher premiums, deductibles, fewer doctors, limited access to medical facilities and in the end, taxes to fund the borrowing to pay for its inevitable shortfall, all in order to provide medical care for others. In many ways like this, even illegal immigrants are treated better than taxpaying American citizens because they get free medical care all the time. Yes, that ahs been paid with premiums from insurance buying citizens, but that purchase was always a choice, not a government mandate, which makes it into a tax, as the Supreme Court ruled.

Granted, it wouldn’t do any good to attempt to pull back the mandated coverages (b/c neither senate nor pres would allow THAT), but this bill isn’t enough.

jw, would you rather the President just wave his magic wand and order the companies to violate the law and re-instate policies that had to be cancelled due to the law’s provisions? Clearly, he doesn’t like what the House did with the approval of 39 Democrats who will likely lose their seat in the mid terms. He just wants to be a dictator and tell everyone what to do. History tells us that Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Is this President fiddling while America is burning?

Dear Agent: I have full confidence that the GOP will again shoot themselves in the foot prior to the election. Let’s see, the last election was about taking rights away from women (how did that work out for ya?); next election will be about taking away coverage for pre-existing conditions. Yeah, that will play in Peoria.

By shooting themselves in the foot you mean just the way the democrats did when the rolled out the ACA that imploded on itself just the way all the rest of us with an iota of common sense knew it would? Taking the rights away from women – you guys still believe that – I love the way you spin things. The democrats just love to keep not only women but both men and women enslaved in poverty. That’s right – just keep them all on entitlements – don’t try to help them out of a bad situation so they can learn to take care of themselves and be productive and contribute to society. Nope, just keep them enslaved to more entitlements and have them keep popping out more children that are going to be brought up in the entitlement trap. That’s the true agenda of the Democrats so they make themselves look like they are the compassionate ones and make the Republicans look like we are evil and full of hate and have no compassion at all. The funny thing is you actually believe it. Republicans give more to charity organizations than the Democrats do but we are still the evil doers.

Ask the people in Peoria how they like having their insurance taken away 1-1-14 Celtica. I don’t think many in Peoria will blame Republicans for taking away their Health Insurance. With the current rate of defections in the Democratic Party, it should reach a crescendo about mid summer of 14. Any Republican running for office should hammer away 24/7 that his Democratic opponent voted for this travesty and has supported it right up to the website crash.
