    Lean forward America. The website is only part of the problem. Millions will lose their coverage,millions will lose their doctors, premiums are going to double and triple, your taxes are going up to pay the bills sent to the government by the insurance carriers. And when the system implodes you will get the same healthcare out Vets get at the VA hospitals.

      Hey Jack, I saw where Obama is preparing a bailout package for the Insurance Industry since they will be picking up all the PreX people that manages to get coverage at some point. The website also has not been made secure so the hackers out there will have a field day on ID theft. We have a bunch of crooks in charge right now.

        Agent- I’ve seen reports of an 80% payback but that will not suffice. Do you know of an industry that can take a 20% loss every year and stay in business? And that’s 20% on the most costly customers. The whole thing is a sham. The healthy customer and the tax payer getting hosed again.

        Single payer system here we come!

        The carriers got played by a con artist from Chicago.

            Again, I’m not going to stoop to your level of ignorance. Obama doesn’t give a rats a$$ about anything but trying to make himself look good and that’s been going down the hopper quite nicely and on his own merit. And when you show a liberal the truth – they start the with the insults and name calling. No, I’m not 12, dear. The links I’ve posted show the truth and show exactly what we’ve been talking about all along. The website isn’t working and everyone from Obama on down knew it wouldn’t work but someone in a high level of government- gee I wonder who that could be – wanted it rolled out anyway. And viola! Disaster. Libby, Obama has pissed a lot of people off and now he’s trying to back peddle. He’s gone against his own IT’S THE LAW and now he is letting BC/BS rescind all the cancellations that were sent out and offer insureds the same plan that they had before but probably at a much higher premium but, but, for only one year and then whamo back to the inflated premiums so those at the top of the food chain can pay for those on the subsides. Ah, so nice of Obama to do that – what a swell guy! The man is despicable.

I use the word law very loosely because he changes it everyday without the approval of congress. It will be forever his and his alone. I know a lot of libs want to disassociate him and themselves from it, and I would too if I were them. It’s a failure.

            He doesn’t get to take his name off of it because he didn’t have the balls to tell the American people the truth about wanting single payer.

            Jack writes, “He doesn’t get to take his name off of it because he didn’t have the balls to tell the American people the truth about wanting single payer.”

            I’m so old I remember that in 2008, President Obama said in a town hall meeting and reported by The Wall Street Journal (in case you want a source), “If I were designing a system from scratch, I would probably go ahead with a single payer system. A single payer system would eliminate private insurance companies and put a Medicare-like system into place where the government pays all healthcare bills with tax dollars.”

            So, Jack, again, you’re wrong. He did tell the American people. But, advisors to both candidate Obama and candidate H. Clinton said not to push such a platform, so both parties agreed to go so far as to even move away from a public option. Don’t let those facts get in the way of your narrative, though. And, sign me up for the Medicare for all if we do indeed get there. This Heritage Foundation idea known as the PPACA is a step in the right direction, but it fails to even offer that public option I mentioned above. Thanks a lot Democratic advisors!

We are paying all these staffers for playing on the internet, going out to lunch at the Senate lunchroom and sending out form letters to Nevada. Sounds like a cushy job to me. I saw where the government picks up about 80% of the cost of their gold plated, low deductible insurance.

      Always, since the website is still incomplete, they don’t have a method of payment. In order to have insurance, a premium payment needs to be made. To whom is the premium paid to? You know what, even Hollywood cannot dream this stuff up. I agree, it is a colossal joke and the joke is on us who will be picking up the tab.

        Since there aren’t enough of us on the left side to be able to hide your comments, even if we wanted to, it is apparant the right AND the left do not like you comparing the greatest country in the world to Greece and Spain.

        With Obama ship sinking fast I’d think you’d be a little humbled. Guess I was wrong. The 20 year old aren’t even trying to sign up for the 3 crap plans that are being offered. I think the young progressives have finally woken up. Yes, I am on the right side of the isle. You and your bleeding hear liberals always trying to spin us on the right is such a negative way. We try to protect the unborn – you scream bloody murder – no pun intended. My sources are credible. Didn’t you just post something from Wikipedia? Or might have that been Libby. You both seem to blend into one after a while – Wikipedia – that’s your source? A site that anyone can manipulate? Good source – speaks volumes.

          Maybe the 20 year olds aren’t signing up because they are already covered under their parent’s plan??? Did that ever occur to you? And Obama is still President for the next 3 years — so much for his sinking ship.

          About protecting the unborn, yes, you do seem to be a bleeding heart liberal about that (I’m guessing that is causing you to spit nails about now) — but not so much after they are born. In fact, you actually don’t give a rap about withholding food stamps from the stomachs of infants and children.

            Not so. I was quite delighted when the ACA website first crashed – then I felt terrible for all those who lost their coverage because they believed all the lies that Obama spouted. Spitting nails right now – sorry your rant is not working and never has. I do care about people on food stamps – the ones that need them because they have fallen on hard times. However, not the ones who sit on their butts and keep popping out babies so they can squeeze more money out of the taxpayers and you know as well as I do that this fraud has been going on for a long, long, time. Able bodies are sitting around on their butts screwing the tax payers – the I, Me Mine crow AKA the entitlement crowd. I have no pity for them. And you still think that Obama was a good candidate? He never was and still isn’t. Obama is a great campaigner but a horrible governor. And why is that? It’s because he had no experience for the job. This is what happens when foolish people vote in office a man who had absolutely no experience for the job and also is a Chicago thug who runs his office as such.

            If the 20-year-olds aren’t signing up, aren’t they supposed to be a major source of financing this debacle? If only the old and/or sick are signing up, it’s going to crash under its own weight. Duh. And just because Obama is president for the next 3 years doesn’t mean his ship isn’t sinking. If the American people are starting to lose faith in his credibility (not that he ever had any), and if the Democrats start abandoning him (which they already seem to be doing) he’s going to be the lamest of lame ducks.

            Sorry – I missed the part that maybe their not signing up because they might be on their parents plan. Well, isn’t that a nice thought. But, dear Celtica, aren’t these the folks whose premiums were supposed to help fund the ACA? The younger healthier crowd was supposed to help pay for the older crowd who are dying off. Obama would be shooting himself in the foot now wouldn’t he if these 20 year olds were still on their parents plans and not contributing to help fund the ACA. Think about what you just said. Sorry, I just shot down your theory.

            Yes, we still have 3 more years thanks to the idiots who voted for him again and for the idiots who didn’t come out to vote the second time around to get him out of office. His ship as sprung a leak so I wouldn’t be so smug if I were you. The thing that scares me the most is that Obama is going to do what ever the blazes he wants too and his anti American upbringing and hatred is going to bring America to it’s knees. I think I saw on the news this morning that 57% of the population now think that America is not the super power it once was and Europe is not far behind. And who do you suppose we have to thank for this?

            Libby, This is all on Obama’s watch. Bush has been out of office for 5 years now. It’s time to give credit where credit is due – right to the king of lies, Obama. You libs love to keep beating a dead horse. It’s Obama’s fault and all those shovel ready jobs he promised us when he was running that weren’t there. You do remember Obama laughing, mind you, on national television of how those shovel ready jobs weren’t really there. Your loyalty is amazing. Lie, after lie aftet lie and still you and Celt love him. Why?

            I don’t love him. I have many issues with the job he’s been doing. I just don’t demonize him or think he is inherently evil. I beleive in many of the same ideals he does.

            * Healthcare for all Americans
            * Gay rights
            * Women’s rights
            * Racial equality
            * Immigation reform
            * Getting our troops out of Iraq
            * Wealth inequity
            * Equal pay for equal work
            * Lowering the deficit

            – He has not presented a balanced budget, for which I blame him.
            – The ACA is not working as promised, for which I blame him.
            – Gitmo was not shut down, for which I blame him.
            – He has not attacked welfare reform, for which I blame him.

            As far as Benghazi, IRS, and Fast & Furious, I have not seen enough evidence to say definitivly those things reached his desk or that he had personal knowledge. If that comes to light, I will be happy to blame him for those things as well.

            Nice list, Libby. How many of these things has Obama actually accomplished? Far as I know there are still troops in Iraq. The deficit was lowered by the amount Obama increased it by so that’s also a moot point. Immigration reform? What has he done there? Giving amnesty to all the illegal’s and providing them with benefits from a system that can’t even support the illegal’s that have already been here sponging off of us. “As far as Benghazi, IRS, and Fast & Furious, I have not seen enough evidence to say definitivly those things reached his desk or that he had personal knowledge. If that comes to light, I will be happy to blame him for those things as well.” Wow, you really are delusional. Obama has been playing the “I didn’t find out until you all found out” card for a long while. He also played the “I never heard those speeches” card a lot too when he was a member for 20 years at the “church” that Rev. Jeremiah Wright is the pastor who made very racial, anti-American speeches. It was just reported that Obama met once with Katherine Sebelius on October 15, 2013 to talk about the Obamacare. You’d think something as important as our healthcare he’d be a little more interested in it. Has he ever had to apply for health insurance? Probably not since he’s had everything handed to him is whole life. So perhaps maybe the incompetent community organizer who you all elected into the most important government position really didn’t know what a disaster it was going to be because he was too busy campaigning and swooning his friends in Hollywood. Oh, and let’s not for get all the golfing he’s been doing. Racial equality? We have never been more racially divided. Martin Luther King is probably rolling over in his grave. There are more hate crimes then ever. Are you aware of the Knockout game? Blacks punching people in the face trying to knock them out with one punch and their target are White and Asians. That’s not racist? Obama was all over the news when Trayvon Martin was killed but innocent people have also been killed by blacks playing the knockout game. A homeless man died and I think a few others too. Where was the out rage? Maybe if Obama had a son he would have looked like one of these horrible kids playing this game. All I can say is I’ll be SO happy when Obama is out of office. What scares me is the total disaster he is going to leave behind from our healthcare on down.

            Now that the polling has been done on the 18-29 crowd that have loved Obama up until now, the polls say they don’t like him so much. They will also not like it when their parents policy is canceled with them on it and then face the higher premiums the parents are going to have to pay assuming they can ever get covered. The parents might just say son, go get your own coverage through the site. Good luck.

            Libby,

            The funny thing about Benghazi and all the other Obama scandals is that the FBI, Holder and the rest have all the information so locked up we may never know the full stories. However, aren’t you just a bit baffled that Obama didn’t know anything about any of these? He is the most out of touch president we’ve ever had. What does he do all day? We’re paying him 450K a year and all I see him do is fund raise with his Hollywood cronies, play golf, and occasionally make a public appearance to try to defend some issue that came back to bite him in his behind. And there certainly have been a lot of those these days. Can we say useless? He spent more time golfing then meeting with the people who were creating our healthcare website. And! I heard a rumor that IBM said they would have created it for free! I’m not sure if that is true or not. But this “fix” is going to cost us a heck of lot more then we were told it was going to cost. And has Jack has said in the past – bend over. IBM would give it to us for free but no, let’s hire some of Michell’s old friends in Canada to build it. Disaster after disaster. I think IBM would have been a much better choice.

            This was from December 4th of this year, sweetie. And if Obama had an ounce of sense he would have let IBM or Hewitt build the website. He had Michelle’s old college friend’s best interest at heart and not the American people. He gave them upward of 600 million of taxpayers money to build a website that dosen’t work. And how much more are we going to have to spend so it does? We have the best IT companies right here at home. Howerver the dope can change went to Canada and viola! Diaster.

I’m just glad the Dems out number you so we can keep crazy out of the White House.

Even when Obama said in one of his many useless, filled with lies, speeches that he would NOT let Detroit go bankrupt – just another lie and broken promise to the people of Detroit. However, they can have all have subsidized healthcare if the government could ever get their website built. Good old Democrats, you should be very proud of the city of Detroit. You guys built that.

Try to use your brain instead of a website for a change. Are you against the multiple mandates built into this law as it is currently written or not? By the way, I was castigated by you, Planet and others for calling it a bill. As I was driving home for lunch, they were interviewing your hero Bill Clinton on his famous remarks of a few weeks ago that he was only trying to help when he said Obama should honor the keep the policy pledge. Clinton called it a “bill” in his interview.

            List 1 website article that I posted that supports the law? Just 1!!

            Why don’t you try to do some real research and actually cite any of your sources. If your only source is your brain, that would explain the plethora of innacuracies you regularly post that are debunked by simple fact-checking. You are simple Conservative minion who can only forward talking points and rhetoric.

            Since when are Fox, GOP.gov, Forbes, and the Ludwig von Mises Institute leftist? I have cited those sites on multiple times also. It is call real balance.

            Why do you think I am not outraged? Because I post respectfully citing facts and do not sling insults? I am an analytical thinker, not emotional. Facts and data sway my opinion, not feelings, opinions and spin.

            I will state this once again, my father is and will always be my ONLY hero. I expect you to respect that fact.

            President Clinton was incorrect in referring to the law as a bill. Does that mean it is OK for you to be wrong in referring to the law as a bill because he was?

Ron posted an article on Paul Krugman, the leftist former Princeton professor who now writes for the now infamous going broke NY Times and then complains and feigns outrage when I call him on it. Ron,

            You aren’t balanced, and your reading and interpretation skills are not superior than Agent’s. They usually contain more source quoting, but they contradict.

            So let me get this straight: Liberal ideals and plans that don’t work (PPACA) are not Obama’s or left leaning,

            Conservative ideals that work (Reagan) aren’t conservative ideals, they are liberal.

            Are there any liberal programs you believe are bad, without attempting to attribute them to the left? Are there any conservative programs you believe are good without attributing them to the left?

            Reagan was not a liberal. I don’t care about your source, I care about common sense. I note that you didn’t explain yourself the factors that you agreed made him a liberal, because you were perfectly willing to accept it, as long as a source said it.

            Want to take up the debate, factor by factor? Obama and Reagan couldn’t be more different in how they handled their recessions, and the numbers before and after hand couldn’t be more different as well.

            I’m rather sick of your attempts to back up the fact that you are a moderate, when it is in fact clear, that you vote democrat more than republican, and you back up democrats more than republican. You may be on the switch to balancing that out, but to date, you are not balanced in your research.

            To are there any liberal programs you believe are bad, without attempting to attribute them to the right?”

            The PPACA Obama can lie all he wants and say he wanted single payer but couldn’t get it, not a single republicans wanted Obama’s plan, and he knew it. Therefore, him and democrats wanted it. Was it Snow that was the only republican that voted for the PPACA?

            3. Ron is against the ACA and has always spoken out against it.

            4. Ron doesn’t “back up” liberals more than Republicans. He only points out (mostly to Agent) that all points aren’t black and white and there are two sides to every story. He does this because Agent has tunnel vision and is unable to think outside his own programmed rhetoric.

      Hey Always and Connie, did you see the new poll done by the Harvard Institute of Politics? They were polling the Millenial crowd of 18-29 year olds that Obama needs to sign up. The younger ones under 25 wanted to throw him out of office by a big majority. The older ones from 25-29 cut him a little more slack since they believed the Hope & Change slogan, but even they disapprove of his policies and on top of that, can’t get a job. They went overwhelmingly to Obama in the past 2 elections and their hopes have been dashed. I would like to see the enrollment numbers on these young people. I think it is very few if these polls are correct.

        Hi Agent,

        No I did not see this poll done by Harvard thank you for sharing. The younger ones wanted to throw him out of office. Wow – that speaks volumes. The bloom has fallen of their rose colored glasses. Hopes have been dashed. So sad to have believed in the community planner and all the hot air he spewed while running for both terms. He’s nothing but an a glorified orator. But according to Celtcia, the 20-26 year olds must all be on their parents plans and that’s why the numbers are going to be so low. Right – and I have a bridge I can sell you in Brooklyn too.

          They will be on the parents policy until the cancellation notice arrives and then not. Maybe they can help the parents navigate the dysfunctional site. Maybe they can get coverage sometime next year only at 50% higher rates. How will they pay for it? Sorry, the site is still under construction. No premium, no coverage.

            No, I didn’t but the way it’s going I’d bet to wager that 2017 sounds a bit unreasonable. He should have let IBM or Hewitt build but the website. The thing about Obama is he seems to think that he’s pretty darn smart in areas he where he is clueless and there are many to choose from but I’ll stick to the topic. Like building a huge website to take over everyone in the whole USA health insurance when he knows nothing about building websites. So, he and Michelle hatch a scheme to hire Michelle’s old college friend who works for an IT company in Canada. Tell me that’s not cronyism? If dear old Michelle’s friend hadn’t worked there we might have had a website that does.

        Looks like President Obama will not be elected to a third term. Oh wait, he can’t even run.

        Since when is 52% a big majority? The poll also stated at least the same would recall every member of Congress.

        http://voices.suntimes.com/early-and-often/sweet/youths-turned-off-on-obamacare-new-harvard-institute-of-politics-poll/

        It sounds like they are just upset with government as a whole, regardless of party affiliation. We may get what I want, every member of Congress up for re-election to be sent home.

      Always, the only explanation I can think of for the government to turn down the IBM offer was they wanted to spend a lot of money on 15 vendors and the main one had a VP who was a gal pal of Michelle in college. That was a huge mistake, but not as huge as writing a law that will ruin the country if it is fully implemented.

        There she goes again, name calling again. I could not agree with you more. Doesn’t like to hear the truth. I just posted this in response to something else but just think about it. IF Michelle didn’t have an old friend working at the Canadian company what are the chances that the website would have been built here and worked? And I agree with you whole heartedly, when it is fully implemented it’s going to be worse then anyone imagined. We’ll loose our doctors and hospitals. I’ve heard this from a friend who goes to a podiatrist that the only people coved for podiatry will be people who have diabetes. This came from her podiatrist. She also heard from her eye doctor that any elective procedure also won’t be covered. One of her eye lids is starting to lower and she’ll need to have it surgically lifted. He doctor told her she better have that done before Obamascare kicks in because it’s going to be considered elective and it won’t be covered. The doctor actually posted this in the waiting room so his patients would be made aware. Goodbye good healthcare and welcome some very crappy plans.

And by the way, I should have made myself more clear, they droopy eyelid she has now would be covered NOW – it won’t be under the new plan because it will be classified as elective. Always, CNN is a mere shell of its former self back in the salad days of Ted Turner. When Fox came on the scene, they started going down and have been in freefall since. Several top management people were let go and replaced, but CNN continues to do poorly. Soon, they will be at MSNBC levels which has a national audience of Celtica and Libby and not much more. By the way, that evil commentator (Bashir?) who made all the nasty remarks about Sarah quit MSNBC today. I am sure that will really disappoint Libby and Celtica and probably Planet as well.

So, I am kicking my group policy to the curb which means I by law can not contribute to his personal health insurance forcing the entire burden on his shoulders. The Corp will also be losing the tax deduction. So, Obama has screwed him with higher premiums and the corp forcing less deductions and therefore higher Corp Taxes with this law.

          Actually Libby, there is a law called Obamacare that says you must use Healthcare.gov in order to get subsidies to lower costs. The only problem I see is that it doesn’t work and has no security for it. Yes, you can go on company websites and get some coverage if you want to pay the exhorbitant premiums.

          1. The Progressive Minion lawyers that wrote it.
          2. Every Democrat who voted for it without reading it.
          3. Kathleen Sebelius who has been in charge of the implementation and rollout.
          4. The Website vendors who had the gall to design the worst website in modern history and collect nearly a billion of our tax dollars.
          5. The CMS head who worked hand in hand with Sebelius to screw it up.
          6. President Obama who championed the worst law ever conceived and rammed it down our throats.

            Agent,
            So you go with Romney who has the same healthcare reform in his state that President Obama has for the country. The guy who uses every tax loophole he can and won’t show us his tax filings for the previous ten years unlike his OWN FATHER did (and started as a trend, by the way). The guy who has an elevator for his car in one of his several homes, but is “in touch” with the middle class and those lower than him. The guy who blurts, “who let the dogs out” to a group of African Americans. The 47% guy. The guy who has portfolios of women. The guy who ran Bain Capital, which ruined countless lives with layoffs and pension cuts. I can go on, but I’d just like to say, thank you to all the conservatives who helped Mitt Romney receive the nomination. President Obama even fell asleep during a debate and still won in a landslide. When the GOP comes back to reality, I’ll start considering their candidates again. Until then, I’m either looking at the Democrat or the Independent. And, I am praying Bernie Sanders chooses to run. He would be a great Independent and may actually have an outside shot (but not as good as Obama’s outside shot – dude’s got a mean southpaw jumper).

I would call him more of a Truman Democrat. We haven’t seen much of them in many years. Of course, he would have been caught with his extra curricular activities in today’s world just like Slick Willy was. The media tended to look the other way back then when he was slipping Marilyn in the back door when Jackie was out of town. That was the Kennedy way and the way they were all wired.

      I don’t know about Jeb Bush. The Bush name has been tarnished. He would be better as an appointee if the Republicans take back the White House in 16. I do agree that almost anyone is better than what Obama has been. Of course, they tout Hillary, but she has a lot of baggage and just think what she will look like in 3 more years. I think Scott Walker has a shot if he is interested. I don’t like Christie since his RINO leanings are a bit much. That guy Lee in Utah is also looking good and Ted Cruz would be great.

Not to mention was the first politician ever in the history of the US to fight off recall.
          He has done a lot of good for a lot of people.

He is following through on his promises and is showing real leadership which we haven’t had in a very long time. Ryan is a good man, but I don’t think he is strong enough and he is a House member and they generally don’t make good Presidential candidates just like Senators don’t. The candidate has to come from the 30 Republican Governors and someone will emerge in the next year or so.

They say they are for fiscal responsibility but don’t mind the government running up a trillion dollar deficit each year and a total debt of $17 Trillion. By the way, there are very few Centrist/Moderates in Congress anymore. The Blue Dogs were close, but they were defeated in 2010 after being coerced to voting for Obamacare by Ms Pelosi of “We have to pass it to see what is in it” fame. Sarge, as usual, you are unable to read the article in context – even though it came from one of your own right wing rags.

      45% v. 50% approval rating is hardly a landslide. The article was actually positive. But you’d have to have reading comprehension to understand that.

As far as the article, whenever the article appears to be in your favor you use it and when not you forget it. If you replaced Obozo with George Bush, you would be raving. As far as a right wing rag- You used it, not me- Hahaha

    According to CNN today at the noon hour, 5.9 million Americans have lost their insurance and about 250K have purchased insurance through the exchange. That is 250,000 for you Celtica so try to follow along. So Obama needs 7 Million sign ups at a minimum which means- 7 Mill plus 5.9 mill that lost their insurance is 12.9 mill sign ups needed to get Obama to the net number he wanted in the first forecast (wich no one believes anyway). Take off the 250K who signed up (mostly adverse risk) and he is now short 12.65 million. Great

      Sargeant, I am not sure the 250K really have purchased insurance since there is no payment mechanism on the still unfinished site. We have all been around long enough in the insurance business to know that the premium is the consideration to have insurance coverage. Just being put in a line waiting for issuance will do no good when 1-1-14 rolls around in a few short weeks. Is that what they mean by free insurance? See how many doctors will take it. Many don’t take Medicaid either and a lot of people have been sent to that for coverage.

We have already seen the shrinking networks. They cited on populous county, I think in Florida who has 7 doctors to treat 250,000 residents. Hmm. I wonder what the waiting time will be to see patients. Can we say rationed care or no care at all?

    jw says regarding Walker – “Do you think he has what it takes to run the country?”

    Me personally, I think he does not have enough experience at this time.

    He knows how to run an election – he has won two including a recall. I know he can make the hard decisions that need to be made and make them stick. He has lived up to his campaign hype. He has not hit his Unemployment Rate Goal yet. That’s largely due to Milwaukee run by a Democrat that is doing nothing to protect jobs from moving away. Back out Milwaukee, and he has exceeded his Election Promise on his Unemployment Goal. It is widely thought the knuckle head in Mil let the jobs leave so as to dis credit Walker during the recall.

    I would look at other candidates before I voted for him. If he shakes put to be the best man given his inexperience, I would vote for him.

In three more years, he should have enough executive experience to do the job. Please, no more House or Senate candidates should run or minions in the Administration. We need it to come from the Governor ranks who can manage budgets and will appoint good people for a change to do whatever is necessary to recover the country.

      Interesting that you mentioned the site FFA. I got an email today from a friend with a link you could click to bring up Healthcare.gov. You click on it and up pops the site with the cute gal that was on it, but not anymore. If you click on “Apply Now”, the apply button jumps all over the Home page and you can’t put a cursor on it. I laughed a while on that one. It must be almost as frustrating for the average consumer to try to apply for this debacle. They are now queing people to wait in line for coverage and their is still no payment mechanism so no insurance on 1-1. Should the consumer that thinks they have Healthcare just send their medical bills to Obama after 1-1 and he can cut a check for them?

He couldn’t even take a few jabs by the prominent Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson at the prayer breakfast. I have a theory that these Liberals know they are on the wrong side of the argument and are very angry that things aren’t working out with the agenda so they just scream insults and throw tantrums like kids kicking in the floor. Of course we know they vote with their emotions so we shouldn’t be that surprised they voted for Hope & Change. How is that working out for the country?

        Libby, if you weren’t so dense, you would have remembered the Blair House meeting back at the start. Obama said no thanks to all Republican ideas and said to get on the back of the bus. The Omnipresent One thought he could pull it off with his minions like Pelosi & Reid and having Sebelius in charge of the implementation. What a colossal mistake. He also thought the country was ready for the radical transformation he thought he could impose. He will probably set the Democratic Party back at least 20 years after the next landslide/shellacking. Can you name one Democrat other that Pelosi & Reid who still think this was a good idea? They are running, but they can’t hide.

    When in FLA, I saw a piece on CNN about that gal. She wasn’t even a citizen, but working on a Visa (I think is term). She stated it has ruined her reputation and the practice she was in.
    The great job killer strikes again! It was in the same segment they were showing the Colo ads. Wish I could remember the other web site with that fat guy on it. It was promoting the don’t worry about morbid obesity theme. Why? Because its covered.

    But don’t worry about coverage, we can always borrow more $$ from China.

      Hey FFA, how about the gal from Washington State who wrote the President saying how much she loved Obamacare and it was so affordable etc? Oops! Wrong rates were quoted, no subsidies since she made too much and all of a sudden, it became the Unaffordable Care Act so she will not buy and will pay the fine. She is totally embarassed that he read her letter on air and is now disenchanted with the law and the process.

      Well Libby, we may get our wish in 2014 because the polls have Democrats who voted for this travesty are polling badly so the shellacking of 2010 will be child’s play. All we need are candidates who are taking in oxygen, giving off carbon dioxide and don’t comment on social issues and we will be fine. The next election is going to be about the economy, taxes and health care, not abortion, birth control or gay marriage.

          Progressives can’t stop talking about Social Issues when the country’s economy is going in the toilet Libby. Republicans need to stop talking about those things and concentrate on hammering home all the economic issues we face and how to correct them. It starts with a total house cleaning of government, dismantling several departments and agencies and sending a couple million federal workers to the unemployment line.

    Agent, on the Detroit bankruptcy, it is going to happen and the last lawsuit was tossed out. So they are moving forward. It looks like this will be the model bankruptcy for other broke cities to follow.
    The pension issues have been compounding for years. The pension and healthcare benefits account for at least 12 of the 18.5 billion in debt. Defined benefit pension plans and free healthcare benefits, underfunded by the thugs who ran the city. It seems the city took from the pension fund and mismanaged the assets or stole the money. Then when they needed to find pension money they borrowed the money and continued to borrow. (Sounds like the current federal government. Borrow from Social Security and give them an IOU). In the meantime the Democrat thugs that ran the city did things like put all of their family on city and school payroll even though they never reported for work or even had a job assignment. They just collected a check every week and collected benefits including a pension. When the emergency manager took over they found (through an audit) that there were 367 people drawing a paycheck and benefits from the Detroit City School system that never worked there.
    PS- 97% of the people who voted in the last 2 federal elections were Democrat and voted for Obama.

      Well Sargeant, if Nathan’s arm holds up, he will save some games for the Tigers. He will be 39 next year so you never know about veteran relievers and how long they will last. If he is not overworked, he will probably do ok. I am not sure what the Rangers will do for a closer. Feliz wasn’t bad, but could be wild, then they tried to make a starter out of him, but he hurt his arm and now he will probably be on the DL more than active. They may try to trade for a closer. Daniels seems to be active this off season. By the way, Kinsler will be a good second baseman for you.

As far as Kinsler, yes I think he will do well and he likes the Tigers. Also, we now have 3 second basemen and we can shed at least 1 of them although I like Omar Infante. I can’t wait to see the Tigers/Rangers match up next season. Should be fun to watch

I am glad the Tigers and Rangers are not in the same division although we do need help in beating the “Moneyball” Athletics. They do more with less payroll than any team in baseball. They have a very sharp General Manager and he is good at pulling the wool over the other teams General Managers.

I wonder if it will be snowing so hard the players will be hard to see. Both teams are pretty average this year so maybe it is an even match up. I am assuming you still won’t have your number 1 quarterback, but I could be wrong. It may come down to how many turnovers a team has to decide the outcome. Anyway, if we lose to the Bears, I will still be your friend.

Predicting 3″ of snow in Chi Town on Sunday, so crank up the running game. Murry should post 150 yards as we got no L backers with experience. The kids are gonna be good, but they are kids. Look for Forte to be running hard right down your throats with Jeffries in the flat.
        Hard to predict the out come of this one. We have no defense this year and you got a hard runner coming right down our throats…

          Well, we had this kid Dunbar that ran so hard the last game and had more yards than Murray. Then, he got hurt and is on IR the rest of the year. Murray is a good all purpose back, but he has always been injury prone as well. Forte & Jeffrey may have a big game in frozen conditions since our defense is suspect as well. I give the edge to the Bears just because of conditions and being used to it since the Cowgirls play in a domed stadium and never have those conditions to play at home in. By the way, we are getting some of that Chicago weather this weekend. 23 for a high tomorrow with sleet mixed with snow. Must be Global Warming!

          So FFA, I saw in the paper this morning that the Bears had signed Jay Ratliff to augment their defensive line. He played several years for the Cowboys and was a stalwart in the line for them, then he got hurt. He never played another down and they ended up cutting him before this season. I suppose his salary was part of it and they thought he wouldn’t come back to the level he was at before getting hurt. It will be interesting to see how he plays tonight and if he can stop Murray from running.

            Well FFA, the game turned out about like I thought. The defenseless Cowgirls were scored on the first 8 times the Bears had the ball. 17 different defensive linemen used this year and none of them can rush the passer or stop the run and the linebackers and defensive backs cannot cover anyone. Wonderful Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager has done the worst job of putting a team together in the past 20 years. The Bears looked good, but Dallas makes other teams look very good. I like that Jeffery and he has great hands, even when the temperature is almost 0. They should be at least 9-4 instead of 7-6. Hope they follow through and win their division. I also think McCown is a very good quarterback and should continue to start.

            You guys have got hit hard by the injury bug this year. Gruden was saying that your whole D Line was sitting on the couch at the beginning of the season. We see that aspect of a unit getting decimated by injury in Chicago – its the Line Backers… We need Briggs back quick.

On his last call, it went for over an hour, he talked to several different people and – as he put it – the next one was dumber then the person that transferred him. He finally got someone that knew how to get a payment in.

Judging from your comments and your friend’s experiences, I hardly think anything has improved. He might have gotten some help if he had talked to Earline. Remember her? Yes, FFA. We also don’t have coaches who can adjust to different conditions or what the other team is doing. Garrett was a Princeton graduate so Jones thinks he is smart. He is as smart as some of those Ivy Leaguer professors who are in DC setting policy. The current economic advisor is from Princeton and designed the Cash for Clunkers program that cost the taxpayers several billion when they were trying to save GM.

      Regarding the Cowboys, they cut Ratliff and have not signed any quality linemen this year. Jones should fire himself as GM. I am not sure his son would do much better. He is a yes daddy man with a cushy job, but apparently no influence on daddy.

      Well, I read the article too Sargeant. Rand Paul has some good ideas for Detroit, but there is a malignancy that needs to be cut out of that city which is corrupt Progressive Democrats in power. Could they all be recalled like the lawmakers in Colorado were? Unless they get some good leadership in that city, there will be no recovery in the economy or rebuilding the blighted crime ridden core of the city.

      Hey Sargeant, I saw an interesting article reported by the Daily Caller. A researcher named Keith Hall of the free market Mercatus Center researched and found that 41 states have seen their private sectors shrink from 2007-2012. Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho and Nevada have seen the largest contractions. Nevada, home of Harry Reid has shrunk 13% below 2007 levels. Only three states have seen growth in the private sector by more than 2%. North Dakota has seen growth of 25%, mainly due to their oil and gas boom. Alaska also grew by 7%. Texas is the only state that ranks in the top 5 for both current economic climate and growth prospects. as it ranks 1st and 2nd respectively. There are 116 of the 1,000 largest companies headquartered in Texas including giants like AT&T, Exxon Mobil and Dell. The Texas economy is expected to expand 4.2% annually over the next 5 years. This is hard to do given the economic climate in the country and the policies of an anti business government. No wonder people are moving to Texas in great numbers to get away from blue states with their heavy taxation and over regulation.

          They already have a significant presence FFA, they will just be getting bigger with the office in the Metroplex which may eventually dwarf their HO, assuming they even stay in Illinois. The libs like to say Texas is only creating low paying jobs. The last time I checked, insurance jobs were better than average. By the way, GEICO is putting in a big claims office in Katy, suburb of Houston. Creating 1,000 new jobs there. There must be something to this state with no state income tax, favorable environment for business, ready work force etc.

          FFA, I saw on the Daily Caller this morning that South Carolina is ready to pass a bill nullifying Obamacare for that state. If the bill passes, they will be the first state to exempt citizens and businesses from all participation in the Affordable Care Act. The bill’s main component prohibits agencies, officers and employees of the state from implementing any provisions of the Affordable Care Act, leaving implementation entirely in the hands of the Federal Government which lacks the resources to carry out the programs it mandates. The Supreme Court in Printz v United States said that states are not mere political subdivisions of the Federal Government, to carry out what the Federal Government does; they are sovereign entities. Congress can pass laws, but it cannot compel states to utilize either their treasury or personnel to implement those federal laws. I am sure Eric Holder will do his suing thing with them after this bill is passed.

Both states are conservative, have a great business climate and much better cost of living and lower taxation. People can’t help where they are born and where they make their living. However, in a free society, we can move around to better ourselves. I bet if you asked FFA or Sargeant, they would prefer to live and work down here rather than the cess pools of Chicago & Detroit.

    From what I have seen and read, Romney did not use any convicted felons to use his loop holes.

          Ron, you will never convince me that Ronny was a liberal and added to the economic woes of the country no matter how many bogus websites you use. I lived through that era and apparently you didn’t. Reagan inherited an economy from Carter that was almost as ugly as what Obama inherited. Instead of instituting Progressive ideas like the Stimulous which wasn’t a stimulous costing taxpayers several hundred billion, Cash for Clunkers which cost several billion more, hiring Progressive college professors who have made things worse, he rolled up his sleeves to recover the economy. Your President has done more to ruin this economy than any President in history all the while adding $6 Trillion to the debt and more to come with Obamacare and the cost of regulation by his pet agency EPA among others. It takes a little common sense to be a good leader and he lacks it.
