Where is the conservative outcry to shut down all Target stores? Personal identity information has been breached. It’s one of the countless reasons they have tried to shut down the PPACA.

Because nobody is mandating that you shop at Target, and now that you’ve found out about the breach, you’re free to choose to continue shopping there or not, at your own discretion. But Dear Leader is trying to force everyone to buy into Obamacare – except when he’s not – except when he is – except when he’s not – at whatever political wind he thinks is blowing at the moment. So you’re being forced to buy into something where there is next to no security to protect your personal data. Big difference.

You don’t have to buy. You can pay the penalty.

There’s no penalty for not buying at Target. Again, big difference. (And is it a penalty or a tax? They never have been able to define the difference.)

Sure there is – you pay a higher price for the same product in many cases. Kind of like paying out of pocket for medical procedures rather than a deductible and a co pay for a fraction of the cost.

            It’s a stretch.

            – Connie, I’m just trying to get a rise out of you (or any conservative for that matter). My first comment was tongue-in-cheek.

I knew your first comment was tongue-in-cheek, Captain – I just like jousting with liberals! Kind of livens up a boring Friday a little bit!

Maybe I should have said there is no ENFORCED penalty as in by a governmental third party for buying at Target, nobody standing over your shoulder saying, “You MUST buy this or else!”

To draw the conclusion that the US lacks in data security implying that other countries are better is utter nonsense.
