More Secrets – So much for transparency…if lawmakers receive a subsidy it should be public information…

I agree. They work for the public, the funds are public, the distributions should be public as well. I think we might be able to still obtain the subsidy information via the USDA records.

I wonder how much Reid gets for his Pomegranate farm and Pelosi for her vineyards.

actually, the names I heard as receiving the most subsidy money & getting the big break on crop ins premiums were Republicans – one in Calif, several in midwest states like IA, WI, KS. Their names were not familiar to me (compared to those we hear from/about all the time).

Seems like we should practice “Gut & Amend” like politicians do. We could start with salary, benefits, retirement, etc. If it’s such a “privledge” to serve on a jury, it should be just as much a “privledge” to serve in any political position.

What better argument is there for term limits. Politicians are like bananas. They arrive green, turn yellow, then rotten.

WOW…looks like we found a topic we can all agree on!

Agent, don’t usually agree with anything you say, but that banana analogy was PERFECT! That’s one for me to remember!
