    This is just another case of the government interfereing in private enterprise trying to extort fines. If the ships were unsafe, then people wouldn’t take cruises on those ships. Let the free market decide!

    Why are these inspections even necessary??? To line Obama’s pockets with extorted cash, I mean fines? If there are unsafe ships or lines, people will not use them and the free market will take care of the rest. This nanny state program is going to cost jobs at the cruise lines!

    The coast guard should be making unannounced inspections safty
    should be a priority at sea we haver seen to much stupid crap with carnival recently hurting the industry due to lack of proper maintance they need to be watched
