I have a coworker who likes to sing and I am constantly telling her that insurance IS NOT a musical. I printed this article and she was ecstatic when she read the headline. Loved it even after she got the joke. Thanks for the softball. You hit it out of the park.
although this may be an April Fools day trick, the story line mimics the situation we experienced in Lawrence MA. Over 350 people were arrested for auto insurance fraud. Lawyers went to jail, chiropractors went to jail… runners went to jail… insurance agents went to jail…even the insureds went to jail. Not one was our client! Greed and corruption can be found in our industry and it would make a great play!
Bravo – I was completely hooked! And I couldn’t help but think that perhaps non-insurance industry people who would see this (Mr. Mayhem would be a big draw) may come to understand that insurance fraud is no joke, so just don’t go there! A PSA to save us all some grief.

I do theater in my “real life”, outside of insurance, and of course knew immediately it was the annual April Fools Day story from IJ – I loved it!

It may have started as an April Fool’s joke…but why not have a real production on Boardway since it happens every day on Main Street?
