Why isn’t this article under the “Comedy” section of the site?

The environmentalists are predicting the end of the world is near, the oceans will cover all the coastlines when the polar ice all melts and these people are saying we will have a lower than usual number of hurricanes. Weather people cannot get a forecast right two days in advance with all their satellites etc. What a colossal mess!

With NOAA’s past predictions and their accuracy, now I’m actually worried about this season being a bad one.

NC P&C – you took the words right out of my mouth. Considering their track record, we likely will have the next Hurricane Andrew or Katrina.

I thought the same thing. If I had some, I’d sell any cat bonds I held.

Seriously, I hope that they are right and that its a below normal season and further that no storms hit land.

I thought “global warming” was to bring more and greater intensity hurricanes like we have had the past several years. Wait. The past several years have been pretty devoid of hurricanes. What’s going on? Oh, never mind!

Someone posted that the weather in Florida was warmer than usual and they thought that would bring on the Hurricanes. Why aren’t the predictors saying this and predicting a dozen major storms hitting landfall?
