XL Adds 4 to East Coast Excess Casualty Teams

XL Group has enhanced its excess casualty teams in New York and Atlanta to accommodate its continued growth and sharpened focus on target industries – real estate, hospitality, grocers, restaurants and retail.

In New York, XL Group adds Tiffani Ann Earwood, Susan E. Stevens and John Russomanno as senior underwriters. Mary Guiney joins XL Group’s Atlanta office, also as senior underwriter.

Lorraine Seib, president of XL Group’s global Excess Casualty business, said XL is well on its way to “being one of the commercial insurance market’s top three lead umbrella and excess liability markets. ”

Earwood joins XL Group with a decade of excess underwriting experience, most recently with Ironshore.

Stevens rejoins XL Group after pursuing other business opportunities, bringing back with her 20 years of excess underwriting and management experience, including positions with ACE and Chubb.

Russomanno joins XL Group from Travelers’ excess casualty business and also brings a decade of experience with umbrella and excess casualty coverage.

Guiney adds another two decades of excess casualty underwriting experience and management experience, including positions with Kemper and AIG.

XL Group’s global excess casualty operation includes underwriting and claims teams in Bermuda; Toronto; Dublin; New York; Exton, Pa.; Chicago; Kansas City, Mo.; Dallas; San Francisco; Boston and Atlanta.
