This promises to get really ugly. An unknown top is difficult for all to deal with. Much like our public pensions, Medicare and Social Security have become huge unfunded liabilities without knowing the top. Just look at Detroit. If the plaintiff’s attorneys can succeed we may see the end of football.

The lawyers are going to love this. They can milk the NFL for many years on this agreement. By the way Dave, Social Security and Medicare have been funded by working people paying taxes for about 80 years now. The reason they have had trouble is politicians like LBJ robbing the Trust Fund and putting it in the General Fund to do his War on Poverty. This was not the intention when the law was passed.

By the way Social Security and Medicare have been funded by working people paying taxes for about 80 yeas now. The reason they have had trouble is politicians like RJR, GWHB, GWB, and the rest of the conservative human centipede robbing the Trust Fund and putting it in the General Fund to do their Wars on Drugs, Iran-Contra, Turrah, Math and Science. This was not the intention when the law was passed.
