When setting up Bluetooth is often as complicated as brain surgery in some of these cars, I am pretty suspect of the whole ‘driverless car’ thing. Not to mention these companies had better start their own map companies or get ready to open up their wallets in a very serious way to Google.

So if a carmakers system fails and it runs over someone, do the claimants sue the automaker for a products claim? I really think this may be a good thing for, Libby, Booger and Ron. They can sit in the back and blog on IJ while riding in the car.

I knew I would hear from you Libby. Did you get tired insulting Sargeant on the other blog?

Agent, you are commenting on this when you ride horseback? or is it bareback?

If someone told you in 1995 that within 15 years most people would not only have mobile phones, but would use them to surf the web, you would have made some lame crack about how they’d need to tow around a wagon to hold all the equipment, or how slow it would take to access anything.

I can bet you’re one of those folks who think the personal lines folks will eventually come back to IA’s. You know, “Down with McKinnsey!!!” and all that nonsense.

What would the lawyers do if these really cut out car accidents?
Anyway, it seemed like I was stuck behind a driverless car this morning.

Wouldn’t that be awesome? (the lawyers part, not the following a driverless car part)

Some automakers are advertising their car will stop automatically if you get too close to an object. I am not sure I am comfortable with that. Forgive me, but let someone else be the guinea pig and hope the car stops in time from 40-50 MPH.

That was awesome. I was just going to ask Mahtab Honarmandee if they sell “authentic” NFL jerseys and bootleg Bollywood flicks.

Lawyers always land on their feet, even in this. After enough manufacturers are sued for product defect/wrongful death, those smart lawyers will be needed to rewrite our entire tort liability system. Every change has a ripple effect and this one will be a gigantic tsunami. Does anyone hear national NO FAULT being chanted yet?
