Berkshire Specialty Enters Fiduciary Liability Segment, Hires Prussack as VP

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has entered the fiduciary liability market and named Rhonda Prussack as vice president, Fiduciary Liability, to lead the effort.

According to Dan Fortin, senior vice president, Executive and Professional Lines, BHSI, Prussack will work with BHSI customers and brokers to bring to market products for ERISA-related exposures.

Prussack has 24 years of experience in fiduciary liability insurance, most recently as executive vice president, Fiduciary Liability at AIG. Before moving into underwriting, Prussack was senior retirement plan consultant at Dean Witter Reynolds, a stock brokerage and securities firm. She also worked at the New York City Employee Retirement System and at Johnson & Higgins, the insurance brokerage firm.

Prussack holds a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College. She will be based in the New York office of BHSI.

These new fiduciary liability capabilities are the latest addition to BHSI’s executive liability product line. Earlier this year, BHSI introduced Executive First, directors & officers liability insurance for large commercial and financial organizations.
