During the Cold War there were 2 superpowers. We (the USA) put all of our enemies into one category, Soviet Supported Communists. So yes, today we have more enemies. If you read any post Cold War Poli-Sci book they will tell you that.
It’s not sad,,, it’s certainly not good… It’s not Bush’s fault, it’s not Obama’s fault, it’s just the way of things. By the way, we also have more allies and international agreements in place than we did anytime in the last 50 years.
Obama was right when he ridiculed Romney in the debate when Mitt referred to Russia as the biggest geopolitical threat we faced. When he joked about going back to 80’s, when Hillary pressed the misspelled reset button, when he told Medvedev that once re-elected we’d be able to work more closely with the Russians. So closley in fact that they are hacking into all our computers on a regiular basis. How’s those sanctions doing in reducing Russia’s advancements into Ukraine? Yep, Obama got it all right about Russia!
Dave, I think you forgot to include the following.
At the end of their first summit meeting in Slovenia Mr. George W. Bush described Mr. Putin as a straightforward and trustworthy man.
“I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue.
“I was able to get a sense of his soul.
“He’s a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country and I appreciate very much the frank dialogue and that’s the beginning of a very constructive relationship,” Mr Bush said.
That was diplomacy. Bush never trusted the man. Bush did not support cutting back our defense. Bush did not support pulling missile defense out of Poland. All you’re talking about is Bush’s public words. His private words and actions were nowhere as naive as Obama’s. Or Carter’s for that matter. “But I trusted him.” Bush never trusted him, but had to work with him. And he did so in the best interests of the USA. I still can’t figure out who’s interests Obama is working for. George Soros, his biggest contributor?
Enough of the history lessons. I think that the offer has been made to form a partnership between the defense department and private industry to establish a real firewall to protect all U.S. computer systems assets. Especially the energy infrastructure and financial sectors.
I think we did have some hackers put a virus in Iran’s computer systems to slow down their nuke program. How about hacking into Russia and doing a number on them?
The United States have more enemies now than anytime in the last 50 years. Very sad.

Apparently, it ain’t working, pardner!
If the “Zero Day” flaw is only known to hackers, how did they know to report on it? Are they hackers?
Why so vague on the other banks? Give us a heads up. You know they won’t until 4 or 5 months from now – which will be too late.
I agree! I thought companies had to disclose immediately when they have been hacked?

JJ = moronic Bush hater.
RH,
A little harsh, would’t you say? I don’t hate anyone.
The quote I included wasn’t fabricated. This is a direct quote from President Bush. Why are you so defensive?

@Dave – Great job, Dave! You finally found something BOB was right about! Oh wait…
So….our policy in cyberspace is not to retaliate? I am sure that will be very effective.

It’s time to get real and get to work.
Don’t we have someone in this country to turn around & burn their behinds? C’mon people, what’s with that?
I think we did have some hackers put a virus in Iran’s computer systems to slow down their nuke program. How about hacking into Russia and doing a number on them?
First we got bank; next, we get moose and squirrel.
