Just do an executive order to reverse all his crap when he goes back to the crap hole he climbed out of.

What does “sue Obola” really mean? It means attorneys get rich, that is all.

Obama hasnt done anything remarkeable here in light of actions by both Reagan and Bush. And it’s also not amnesty.

Further, if this went to a congressional vote, it would pass because there is pretty wide bipartisan support. Teapartiers know this, which is why they refuse to permit a vote, as they prefer inaction to basic governance.

      This is decidedly legal.

If republicans over stepped their bounds you would support suing them.

This isn’t a circus. It’s about making sure neither party oversteps their bounds when they get into power.

No president should just side step the congress and senate after they all pass a law together.

And if you go into some argument about the number of executive orders previous presidents made, it was rare for those orders to involve delaying sections of passed laws that they themselves signed into order. In fact, I would doubt any presidents issued executive orders against themselves, simply to make sure the public didn’t turn against them (political plays with executive orders.)

The circus is the guy who delayed a law with an executive order to make sure his own law didn’t affect the democrat elections.

PM, back in Nixon’s day, we had a true media to hold politicians accountable for their actions. Woodward & Bernstein broke the Nixon scandal and the major networks weren’t far behind. Even at that, had Nixon burned his tapes, he wouldn’t have been staring at Impeachment. Those nasty tapes were his undoing. Today’s media would rather show some Hollywood star getting plastic surgery rather than report the real news. They have failed miserably except to adore their Messiah no matter what he does wrong.

Looking like a fool is delaying your law so it doesn’t hurt the mid term elections.

That is the only reason he did it.

He issued an executive order against himself, to harm the Republicans and for personal gain.

Of course the republicans are suing him.

You certainly are not for the bullied fighting back against the bully.

Obama is the bully in this circumstance. He passed a law they didn’t want, told them to sit in the back, and then tried to delay it’s implementation to his party’s political gain.

How is that logical, and how is it not bully?

The republicans are straight forward. Democrats work around work around, and bully.

Remember when I said I’m younger than you think?

This may sound like just big talk but it’s not. I’m getting a little older now but I’m still in my prime shape.

I do an hour of high intensity cardio a day five days a week, and that is after a work out of 1 hour and 15 to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

My deadlift is at 495, my squat was at 585, my bench is right around 300. When I lean, I literally look in competition quality. I could kick your butt into next week. I could literally throw you through a wall. I am not kidding you. If you weigh under 180lbs I could throw you through a wall. I am like this in all areas of my life. When I’m at home I’m taking care of crap. When people need me I take care of their crap. I drive my mother hours away to see our last brother left in college. I do more than you do in a month, in week. I guarantee it. Do NOT call me lazy.

I did the math. I work out 11 hours and 15 minutes a week. I work 40, and I parent. I take my kids out multiple times a week, and just this weekend I took them out a full day.

            I am not lazy.

            I am highly driven.

You don’t have to either have a bod or a mind. My mind came first though. My bod so to speak comes from being competitive, and running into the right guy some time after I graduated to train with.

You watch sports. I prefer to take part. It doesn’t make me vain. It doesn’t make me self conscious. It does take a lot of time. And it is worth it. While your girlfriend will always say you are perfect the way you are, while idolizing Ryan Reynolds…Mine won’t. It’s just a fact of life. Looks matter when it comes to attraction. I am confident with what I have done, but it isn’t everything to me. I don’t need to be attractive. I do however like the affects of having a good body.

My regimes will ensure that I am mobile my entire life, and healthy. My weight lifting will eventually have to die down, but I enjoy lifting to see what I can do.

It is not made up. Believe what you want to believe. I don’t give a rat’s rear end.

I take very good care of my kids. If you want me to start actually crossing lines with insults, make one more comment about my kids. Have you ever seen what happens when a parent is told they neglect kids that they love? You’re about to see it. Say something about our relationship. My daughter and son wake me up with love, and live in the same house as me, as does their mother. I take responsibility for my kids. I’m not going to brag about my wife. It’s arrogant and pointless. She isn’t a trophy to brag about. She’s a human being.

The democrats refused to do what they were elected to do, and they needed to punish republicans and make politics of the shut down.

They tried it with the debt deal. You didn’t side with the republicans.

They pulled it with the super committee.

Why do you think Obama put republicans on that, and then refused any plan that didn’t have tax increases?

He had no intention of passing what the public wanted, and he needed a way to make it the republican’s fault.

Republicans don’t frame arguments based on being bi partisan as a method of passing things no one wants.

Obama is repeatedly going against public opinion, and the areas he passes he whines saying people have to be bi partisan so that people will support what they don’t want.

          It’s insane.

It is one party more than the other. After WWII the democrats became irrevocably evil in politics.

          Republicans can be 30/70 split.

The democrats are about 90/10 split for this measure.

What needs to happen is democrats get crushed, demolished, similar to the the republicans after the depression. Ever since then, they are held to a higher standard and thus do better. They have to, the public turns on them at the drop of a hat.

Bob, you really are a silly silly man.

Lets look at the GOP through the lens of your last leader, GWB. He fought two wars off budget in order to game the budget system. One of those wars was morally reprehensible from the start, and both were conducted poorly because the Rumsfeld Doctrine replaced the Powell Doctrine.

He put a major new entitlement on the credit card. An entitlement that prioritized choice over simplicity so that most couldn’t even figure out which Part D company to go with because the system was infinitely complex.

And he enacted a tax system that had a sunset that would cause a major disruption at the end (after he was out of office)–in order to game the CBO. Makes Jonathan Gruber look like a Boy Scout–except there is no video footage of the GOP planners laughing about it (though I’m sure they did).

And his tax system turned American business owners into harvesters of profit rather than sharing productivity gains with their employees. Higher marginal tax let the wealthy remain wealthy while money also flows to the middle class because with high marginal tax rates, since you might as pay your employees better.

Bush looked like a totally defeated man at the end of his term. Every conservative policy he had tried backfired spectacularly. He plunged the USA into a -10% GDP growth slide when Obama took over.

Since then, the Dow is at all time highs, unemployment all time lows, the price of gas is down, there’s no ebola, and millions more people have health insurance. Obama is indeed the greatest president.

Choice is better than a lack of choice in part D.

His deficits with Part D passed were minimal, outside of the year when the recession hit. This is inclusive of the Iraq War. There were years at just over $100 billion. Giving people additional coverage and having a deficit that is small is good in my book. Saying he put it on a credit card is just a cliche line, and it makes you look like an idiot. How much did it affect the budget? Look at the actual years. Other than when the recession started our deficits were perfectly fine.

The DOD covered Iraq expenses. Even during the Iraq war, we had several years in between 400-600 billion of military spending. Obama had years when he went after Libya where it went up to almost 900 billion. You say cliche lines, and neglect to note that in the absence of Iraq spending, the DOD was basically already set to increase at a standard amount. Iraq didn’t increase it outside of that. We haven’t passed a military spending budget for some time. Not even Clinton.

Unemployment is not at lows. It is low BECAUSE the labor participation rate is down.

Gas is finally down as we have slowed down the QE and Twist, both bad programs.

We have an inflated market due to devaluing the dollar with low interest rates. Obama only did that to make houses affordable, as he inflated those costs. Incomes are not up, house prices are. What happens when we can’t buy low interest rates anymore?

Also: Gas is not down in comparison to the amount of inflation we have had due to devaluation of the dollar. $2.80 for a gallon of gas now, when incomes are not up and the cost of living is, is not the same as $2.80 a gallon of gas back in 2007.

Bush W did not plunge the GDP growth down. That was forced lending on the part of the government. Even the CRA regulated loans failed at a 50% rate. We shouldn’t have made a requirement for the amount of low income loans companies had to make in order to grow.

His tax system was barely different than it is now.

Our corporate tax rate is too high. So if you’re making that sad argument it’s too dumb for words.

If you’re arguing a couple points different on the top marginal rate is his catering to the rich you’re an idiot, I won’t even have the debate as to how stupid you are if this is the case.

But that’s clear in your idiotic comment that his tax policy had sunset clauses to screw up the economy at his end. I have never seen such a stupid comment.

Yes. He knew precisely what tax rate to make the economy fail in 2008! MWA HAHAHAHAHA! No wait…That’s just stupid.

            If you didn’t catch:

When I said what happens when the inflated houses that Obama propped up remain expensive, incomes still aren’t up (A fact that they aren’t, and are in fact down)

And then the interest rates go up?

People couldn’t afford houses in 2008. That caused a collapse. And Obama felt that making low interest rates and high housing costs was a good idea.

            Why?

Another collapse will happen when those rates go up.

            So, what happens then?

The public needs him to lower them. They need democrats.

What if he let the housing costs drop?

Then the public wouldn’t need him.

And the market would straighten itself out. And houses would actually be affordable.

            Oh no Stan! How howwible!!!

That’s an intentional baby talk typo.

Romney would have let the market bottom out in that regard. And we would all be better off.

My deadlift is at 495, my squat was at 585, my bench is right around 300. When I lean, I literally look in competition quality. I could kick your butt into next week. (please note I don’t mean any of that, I’m just trying to show how I would be condescending if that’s what I was going for.)

Not condescending: Hey Bob, the Dem’s haven’t intentionally tried to shut down the government like the Repub’s did.

            See the difference?

FFA, a good one for you.

In church last Sunday, I heard a sweet elderly lady in the pew next to me saying a prayer. It was so innocent and sincere that I just had to share it with you:

        Dear Lord,

This past year has been very tough:
You have taken my favorite actor – James Garner
My favorite actress – Lauren Bacall
My favorite Comedian – Robin Williams
My favorite disc jockey – Casey Kasem

I just wanted you to know that my favorite politicians are: Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Amen

…and herein lies the crux of every argument I’ve seen on IJ about politics:

“Nothing but tossing rocks at each other. ALL people in DC should be embarrassed in this mess of a mess. Neither side wants to walk across the isle and work together. They have their jobs. Why should they care about anyone else?”

I want to like this comment over 1,000,000 times. The two-party system is broken. The Dem’s want to blame the Repub’s, the Repub’s want to blame the Dem’s and — as an independent who is liberal in some areas and conservative in others depending on the topic — everyone is finally right about something. It’s BOTH parties fault.

I sure hope this doesn’t degrade into “well, the left is MORE responsible for this mess than the right – or vice versa”, but FFA’s comment is just spot-on. Both sides are to blame and we’ll keep seeing this mess until everyone involved sincerely tries to work together in good faith in the best interest of the American people.

Rosenblatt, the political system has been broken for many years. Self interest, lobbyist groups and the desire to stay on the gravy train, keep Americans dumbed down so they will vote for a slogan instead of thinking for themselves is a major problem. Why would they ever vote for term limits if they can stay up there 30+ years screwing over the citizens? The good news 3 weeks ago is that the majority of the country spoke and said enough is enough. Now, we need to hold all politicians of both parties accountable. Progressive politics has led the nation for a while now and when the mess is this bad, the whole lot of them need to go.

Freedom – that’s an excellent reply. I agree…the system has been broken for a long time now primarily due to special interest groups and lobbyists. There’s no incentive for those in the House or Senate to do anything, except try to get re-elected each year.

I agree term limits would be wonderful, and also agree it’ll never happen because those it will impact won’t (basically) vote themselves out!

The liberals basically voted themselves out when they supported Obama 90-97% of the time. They did their own term limits by agreeing with leftists in this administration. Someone please give Planet some smelling salts. He hasn’t come to from the licking his candidate received in Iowa. No, Libby, they don’t look like fools. They would dearly love to repeal this horrible law, and they know they don’t have the numbers to do it, or to overturn a veto if they did successfully repeal it. But at least by having symbolic attempts to repeal, they can get everyone on record as to who is against it and who is still for it so the American people (the ones that are paying attention) know where everybody in Congress stands.

As for the suit, it fits with the old saying “You made your bed, now you have to lie in it.” They are telling the President that they don’t believe he has the authority to arbitrarily change the law, including delaying implementation of parts of it when the law clearly states it is supposed to go into effect on such and such a date, etc., as well as making other changes, just for political convenience because the Prez knows the more people find out about this law, the more they’ll hate it. They are saying, “Hey, if you think this law is so great, if this is the signature legislation of your administration, if it’s so beneficial to everyone and you’re so proud of it, then leave it alone. Let it go into effect just exactly as it was written if you think it’s so great. You don’t have the authority to make any changes without consulting Congress.” Again, the old saying, “You made your bed, now you have to lie in it.”

I find it interesting that Jonathan Turley is involved in this. Isn’t he an ultra-liberal attorney? And yet he’s on the side of the conservatives in this? Another old saying – “Politics makes strange bedfellows!”

If you want the average person to be able to afford healthcare you get the govt to provide it, free of cost, by raising tax rates on those making more than $1mm per year.

FFA, do you make more than $1mm per year? If the answer is no, then you should support universal healthcare because:

          1) Its the morally right thing to do
          2) You personally would benefit economically
          3) there is social justice in redistributing wealth from those with the very most to provide basic healthcare for those with the very least (and by definition, you and I are both in that category of “those with the very least.”)

I wrote a long response to you, FFA. I think the board ate it?

Stan, I have my own Moral Compass. I don’t need you dictating it to me.
            – I am shocked your moral compass is ok with millions of people being unable to see a physician, with households destroyed because of a bankruptcy causing illness, with children spending time in the ER because they cant she a PC physician.

How would I benefit from it?
            – You would save thousands in monthly premiums. You would be inoculated from the risk of bankruptcy due to an unforeseeable disease. You could take personal and professional risks, knowing that you can see a physician if you need it. You might have to change doctors though. Be tough.

How is there Social Justice here? We are in America/ Be all you can be and all that other hype – you begrudge someone for living the American Dream.
            – This is a lie. Luck plays a huge role. And further, I am not begrudging success. But to state that the 0.01% “worked” for what they have is laughable. These are households that reap their rewards through capital gains, not labor. And to state that they work 10^5x as hard as you and that they deserve it? Well shit man, give yourself a little more credit. They are not better than you, and they certainly arent better than me. These people have reaped enormous rewards from this country, their toll is healthcare.

I need to provide for my family first. Then I will worry about others.
            – Youre one job away from failing at this. I say this not to be snarky, but to illustrate how important this issue is. Universal healthcare permits your demographic, older heads of house supporting multiple generations under the same roof, some breathing room, since no matter what, those closest to you can see a doctor.

Tell me when the Govt sticking their nose into anything has lowered cost?
            – Electricity and water. Both would be sky high without govt. regulation. See, Enron & California.

Three of my top five have been shuttered in the past 30 days. My (former) hospital account is completely out of force because Medicaid nor Medicare has paid them anything close to what is owed. These people are the ones reaping the gains in productivity spurred on by globalized trade and technology. They should make life easier for you by paying for healthcare, which would serve your family well.

According to the Chicago Trib, I can expect my electricity rate to climb by 60 – 80% over the next several years because City Hall signed onto that deal. I am getting 2x the effect on that as my office and residence are in the same community. I cant even go to Com Ed or anyone else… I am stuck with what the local govt decided. The mayor that signed that deal is out… Look what happened to Auto Insurance when the state passed mandatory insurance back in the 80’s. How About workers comp reform? End result – cost have gone up. Billy Boy sticking his nose into the Mortgage industry. Mortgage Crises.
Your much too young to have any legit input on these subjects. You believe what you read way too much for your own good. Case and point – you ate up what the college recruiter told you. Now your stuck with debt and no job. Why??? Because you blindly bought into the line of crap he was spewing.

Really Stan? With out cost? Nothing is with out cost. Govt decisions at every level have screwed me. I cant even office in my down town ground level because of a local govt decision. As these building empty out – another round of business closings hit my local paper today – land lords want to take my money but city hall says they cant. When I tried to do some community based “good”, cops shut me down. Flipped over $2000 on that one with out any expectation of any return. Just feeding hungry people in my private parking lot. Nothing but an ear full of grief out of city hall. Threats of being arrested. I had my permits. I had staff on hand being paid out of my pocket.

As far as the electric goes…. Another poor decision that is screwing me and my neighbors. Took away my freedom of choice. Now class action is forming over it and its just gonna cost us more.

Yes Always, that is a popular term to totally dismiss someone and has been around for a while. Our disgust with Progressive Liberals running things into the ground in this country is quite evident in the last election. Their lies, deceit and very bad ideas and governance did them in. Hopefully, the Democratic movement has been set back for a number of years. I hope they continue to go farther left in 2016 like Elizabeth Warren, the fake Indian wants to do. She almost makes Hillary look Conservative.

Wrong again Libby. The American People wanted the economy righted again, jobs created so they could work and provide for their families. Healthcare was a ways down the list. Your POTUS disregarded the wishes of the people and immediately plunged ahead with his version of Healthcare Reform which we have found was totally based on lies and deception.

I am really looking forward to Grubergate Gruber testifying in front of the House committee. I wonder how this elitist Progressive will spin his way out of tough questions on what he did in concert with Pelosi, Reid and Obama to the detriment of the country.

Libby, we know that Healthcare was at the top of Obama’s list, but not the people as every poll taken has shown the economy and jobs were #1. The recession took a heavy toll on jobs and people wanted jobs in 2009 and want them now. Obama came out and said in 2009 that the last thing he thought about when he went to sleep and the first thing he thought about when he woke up was the economy and jobs. Then, he went out and campaigned tirelessly on Healthcare and did nothing to create jobs and incentivize business to hire. Then, he passed the biggest job killer in history. That is not a record to admire.

FFA, every poll for the last four years has been against this travesty. The mid terms of 2010 led to the shellacking Democrats got and the mid terms of 2014 had an even more resounding defeat of Obama’s policies that were on the ballot which most certainly included Obamacare and Gruber’s elitist statements about the stupidity of voters, that was the final straw. Could that be the reason why the country went red this year?

First, thank you for the compassion as representatives of the right.

Second, Less than .001% of roofs collapsed. It was not like a tornado. Unfortunately 13 people died becasue of the storm, including my friend’s father.

Third, don’t worry, we will not be getting millions of federal money like TX, LA, FL and other states hit by hurricanes. We will get some, but I assure you we will maintain our surplus with the federal government.

How am I in denial about the election? I was actually happy that Reopublicans gained more control. It will interesting how they handle their new power. Of course, if they do not accomplish anything you will just blame President Obama.

You say, “many Republicans stayed home in 2012”, but we had a much higher voter turnout in that election than 2010 or 2014. What does that say? It sounds like a lot more Democrats stayed home in 2014 and they will be out in force in 2016.

I still want to know why do you constantly reference elections with 36.4% (2014) and 40.9% (2010) voter turnout as some kind of mandate, yet discount the elections with a 58.2% (2012) and 61.6% (2008) voter turnout? Which elections have more voices?

We can’t help it if Democrats stayed home in record numbers. It just shows how disgusted they were with Obama’s policies and governance and the total lack of anything positive. When all a candidate has is race baiting, division, hate, that is not much of a message. Wendy Davis tried all that in Texas and suffered the biggest loss in state history. You see, people are tired of the Progressive message and rejected it totally in the election. Do you really think this tactic will work next time? I know you think the vaunted Hillary will sweep in on a magic carpet, but she puts her foot in her mouth everytime she opens it. She has some big time baggage. It is our hope that the Democrats keep moving further left. America will reject them again just like this election.

You complain when I do not answer your questions yet have failed to answer mine twice. Here is the third time I will ask.

Why do you constantly reference election results with 36.4% (2014) and 40.9% (2010) voter turnout as some kind of mandate, yet discount the elections with a 58.2% (2012) and 61.6% (2008) voter turnout? Which elections have more voices?

I agree that many voters are disenfranchised due to President Obama’s policies and his ineffetiveness, and way too many stay home. However, I think it does say something that Republicans tend to win when less people are voting.

I hope a Republican wins the presidency in 2016. I have never like Hillary Clinton as a candidate. I was deeply offended that she kmoved to NY to run for the Senate just because there was an empty seat. If she does run and wins, I assure you it will only be because the Republicans put up another sub-par candidate. That is the only reason President Obama won both elections.

Ron, why do you keep asking why your party did not turn out to vote this time. I have already answered your questions. You just don’t like the answer. Elections matter as many of the left like to say. Do you think NY has more say in national policy than Delaware or Rhode Island just because more voters voted? The liberal N/E didn’t vote in high percentages anymore than the rest of the country. There is no doubt whatever that what the Democrats were selling was rejected when 15 more House seats and 9 more in the Senate changed hands. I wouldn’t be counting on a big comeback anytime soon by Democrats. The policies pursued by Democrats were on the ballot and were soundly rejected. The Messiah couldn’t walk on water after all.

            Agent,

You did NOT answer my question. I was not asking why Democrats did not turn out for an election. I want to know why you consider the results of an election a mandate against policies when voter turnout is lower than presidential elections? I believe that the more people that vote, the more those voices should be heard.

The same policies that were on the ballot in 2014 were also on the ballot in 2012 and how did that turn out? You cannot just ignore some elections.

Nobody was counting on a comeback for the Republicans after 2012, but we see how that turned out. Election results are very cyclical. If the Republicans do not take advantage of their current position of controlling both houses, they will once again lose the presidential election and some seats in both houses. In the eyes of Independenta, it is on them now to fix the economy. Let’s see what they can do.

Ron, once again, elections matter and no matter what the turnout was, it was a rejection of Obama and his policies and agenda and the nation turned red overnight. Is that a matter of concern to those on the left? Absolutely! Even Democrats that didn’t want anything to do with him campaigning for them lost because they have voted for his agenda for years.

Let me ask you a question. Libby seems to think that the number 1 issue in 08 was Healthcare Reform. I disagreed and said the number 1 issue was the economy and jobs as almost all polls revealed it was. We didn’t get an improving economy or jobs, but did get Healthcare that even you might admit was a disaster in the making and only has gotten worse with all the Gruber revelations, lies, deception etc.

The Republicans are now in the driver’s seat. They will be dusting the 300+ bills off that Harry Reid has blocked and will start piling them on Obama’s desk. If he veto’s, he will be the obstructionist for not doing the right thing for America. My guess is the pile will be deep and it is time to start moving in the “right” direction.

So, does the 2012 election matter? Simple question.

I agree with you regarding the economy and jobs being the number one issue for Americans over health care reform in 2008. However, I also believe that health care reform can actually be done by the government whereas the economy and jobs need to be fixed by the private sector.

We can spin all day how policies of different administrations affect the economy and jobs. What cannot be disputed is that we always have had jobs created and lost during evey administration. I have always believed that the private sector can innovate and overcome nearly all government influence. Sometimes it just some more work.

You do realize more people vote during presidential election than mid-terms all of the time, right? This is not a new phenomenon since President Obama was elected.

He is up for re-election in 2016 and he saw what happened to politicians in the House & Senate in 2014 who voted for Obamacare and voted with the President 90-97% of the time. It wasn’t a pretty site for them.

I hate to disagree with you Ron, but the private sector does respond to what happens on the Federal Government level. Businessmen are no dummies, unlike many on the left who think jobs are created out of thin air. It takes positive actions in government to create an atmosphere that business can assimilate and trust and there has been little of that for many years now. The reason for the poor economy for 6 years is that government has not gotten out of the way.

            Agent,

Please tell me how 10 million jobs have been created since President Obama took office in such a negative governmental environment? If your position was accurate, we should have seen zero job creation and milliions of jobs lost during the Obama Administration.

            http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/nov/09/barack-obama/obama-2009-us-has-created-more-jobs-every-other-ad/

The following is from an economist in the article, not me:

Tara Sinclair, a George Washington University economist, noted that this job growth is likely not attributable to any of Obama’s actions, even though the economic recovery happened to start soon after he took office.

“Overall these sorts of comparisons mean little because employment outcomes have more to do with the economic environments more generally rather than specifically the president’s policies,” Sinclair said.

This is exactly the point I have been trying to make.

Dave, Ron has said many times that he doesn’t believe in polls. He may not have even noticed Obama’s numbers in the low 30’s for much of this year and may have believed that Democrats were enthusiastic about Obama’s policies and would turn out to reject Republicans. The best gift we received was when Obama was caught on tape saying – make no mistake, my policies are on the ballot.

It is also nice to see the Cowboys, especially Romo, playing better. Murray is a beast. I just hope they someting in the tank for the playoffs.

Are you still trying to run Jery Jones out of town? The O-line is has put together is very impressive. Maybe he isn’t so bad after all.

Ron, Jones is still not liked by the fans due to a long history of failing to make the playoffs, poor draft choices etc. He has gone 8-8 three years running and when the team had the opportunity to make it, they would lose their last game, usually to the hated Eagles. This game should be interesting playing the Eagles and hopefully they will come through ok. Romo is playing better because the young O line has come around this year and Murray leads the league in rushing which has helped. Romo had 7 seconds to pass on the last touchdown against the Giants to win the game. We are still hoping Jones turns the team over to the son. Too many years of mediocrity. By the way, if the Bills ever get an offense to go with their defense, they will go somewhere. It is sure hard to beat Brady in that division.

Isn’t it strange Ron that teams with top notch quarterbacks tend to make playoffs, advance in playoffs and advance to Super Bowls? Teams playing with back ups who are starting don’t tend to do much. That Fitzpatrick who played for the Bills and ended up in Houston this year was decent, but wasn’t going to take them anywhere, so he was benched for a young quarterback, Mallett who they will be developing for the future. No wonder Houston has a losing record. You can’t expect JJ Watt to do everything and beat good teams.

Good for you Ron. We are reaching some common ground. Please tell Libby you agree with me about the economy and jobs being #1 since she is stuck on Healthcare being #1.

Domestic politics and goofy politicians are the biggest reason why the economy tanks from time to time. The measure of success in bringing it back rests on what the government does and how it affects business. Most businessmen I know tell me they don’t plan to expand as long as we have detrimental regulation and if Obamacare is changed or revised. They don’t like the unknown and for 6 years have been battered. Trust me, the business community out there will hire and expand again if the government just gets off their back. We need to be creating more taxpayers, not tax takers and entitlements that prevent people from seeking work. The deficit needs to be cut and tax reform made a priority. We will then see a robust economy in the next few years.

Please do not put words in my mouth. I never said the economy was far more important, just more important. I also said that the government could actually do something about health care reform whereas the economic problems could be solved by the private sector more effectively.

Also, I do not believe the PPACA was Libby’s idea nor has she advocated the law blindly. She has levied criticisms of the law as I have.

If you listen to candidates, they almost always have multiple issues at the top of their to-do lists. Do you remember Mitt Romney’s list of things he would do on his first day? It’s like saying Brady, Rodgers, Manning and Brees are all top QBs. Which is #1 is a matter of opinion. However, I believe you would take any of them over Romo. At least you should.

Ron, I will use your words. The Economy was more important than Healthcare Reform. When you are in the throws of a recession and as the President said on numerous occasions, the number 1 priority should be getting the economy on track, create some jobs, do some tax reform, incentivize business etc. What did we get but the most expensive social program in history, no tax relief, but an increase as well and no incentives to business. That is the surest way to have almost no growth I have seen yet. Are you happy with that 1-2% growth rate? It should have been 4-5% long before now.

I did say that I believe the economy was more important, but I did not say is was FAR more important. There is a significant distinction between the two.

I also believe that addressing health care properly will help the economy. What happens when we put at least a portion of health care premiums into people’s pockets, especially the middle class? They spend it and put it into the economy. We would also see far fewer bankruptcies which also helps the economy.

That is why I am for universal health care.

The people wanted the economy fixed and jobs, not dismantle the Healthcare system. Even Deadfish Emanuel argued with Obama and Jarrett that they needed to fix the economy first before doing Health reform. The Messiah plowed right on disregarding his advisors and the people since he thought he was smarter than everyone. Where have we seen this on just about every issue since? This is why his poll numbers have declined steadily, particularly since 2012. He couldn’t get elected to dog catcher in Missoula, Montana now, all because of his leftist agenda and not doing the right things for America.

Will it bring premiums down, increase networks of doctors and hospitals, help out on the higher deductibles and out of pocket expenses, reduce the cost of the millenials instead of increase it like Obamacare has done? What we have seen is job killing, narrowed networks, peoples plans they liked getting cancelled and replaced with higher cost plans with unbelievable increases in deductibles and out of pocket expenses, mandated coverage a lot of people don’t need or want. I do not enjoy mentioning this, but your reading comprehension is really poor.
          1. I explained that if people do not have to pay premiums out of their pocket, they will have more disposable income to spend in the economy.
          2. Universal health care will also dramnatically reduce bankruptcies.
          3. Employers will no longer need to provide health care as a benefit and will have more capital to expand and hire.

Why do you keep make references that I am in favor of the PPACA. Just because I point out how misinformed you and many on the right are about the law and its consequebces does not mean I am in favor of the law. If it is such a job killer, why have we seen net job gains in nealry every month since the law passed? Are they all good paying, full-time jobs? No, but many are.

I have stated my fix many times: UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. Let’s remove the profit motive from health insurance and use our strength in numbers to bring costs down. What we had in the past did not work, what we have now does not work, and what we will have with the PPACA will not work.

Universal care. Paid for through taxes. Not an increase in taxes, a realignment of tax expenditures.

Then there are NO premiums, NO out of pocket expense, and all that money goes back into the econmy.

Plus, people don’t have to worry about skrimping to pay their medical bills &/or going bankrupt; which is better for the economy.

Now, even though I laid this out point by point, in simple English even a 4th grader would understand, I still don’t expect you to get it.

Ron, it is still amazing to me that you and Libby are in favor of Universal Healthcare. When has this government shown they can run anything right? They couldn’t even build a website for $1billion that worked. How many more federal employees would have to be hired to run it? Do you think the deductibles, out of pocket expenses would be better than the atrocious ones offered under Obamacare? Have you ever talked to a Washington bureaucrat about anything? They are not the most helpful people to deal with. You say that people will not have to pay premiums out of their pocket so they will have more money to spend in the economy. Where did you get that notion? Who will pay the cost of Healthcare? Do we raise everybody’s taxes 25-30% to pay for it? Is that an incentive? Apparently, you did not see the numbers on job creation since 2007. 49 states excluding Texas had a 0.73% increase in jobs and we have 1 million fewer jobs than 2007 because of the job killing policies of this administration. Are you happy with the 1-2% growth in the economy for the last 6 years? There is no data I have seen that Universal Healthcare will spur the economy. It just increases federal employment which is a drag on the economy. We need private sector growth, not more government. I quote one of your favorite Congressman, Ms Botox face, who proudly proclaimed that Obamacare would spur job growth. She also said that unemployment checks would stimulate the economy. How goofy is that?

How can we have data of how Universal Health Care would affect the economy? We have never even tried. This is the main issue I have with Republicans. They will complain up and down about how bad things are, but have no desire to change anything. Then they complain when others actually try to change things for the better and sabotage their efforts and spread propaganda about how bad and ineffective is the new way.

If you are going to refence the PPACA as a job killer, start with employment statistics no earlier than when it was signed into law March 2010. Using 2007 to criticize this law and/or President Obama is disingenuous, even for you.

Agent, I reported disgusting bbreath and Libby the first day I saw them posting links that revealed your identity. I was appalled that anyone would do something so immature on this blog. Nothing a liberal does should surprise me though, the LGBT community tried to convince the partners at my office to fire me because they employed a “bigot”. I made a comment on a social media sight when someone posted a picture of two women marrying and asked why that had to be posted on that particular spot since it was an site dedictaed to a certain breed of dog. A bunch of them found out where I work and sent many, many emails to the partners telling them that they employed a “hater”. While I do find homosexuals and lesbians and transvestites particulary disgusting,my comments didn’t reveal my true level of disgust. However, they can’t leave things alone. Maybe they didn’t realize how conservative my home town is. It did them no good to email my employers. they are a people that hates more than anyone else can possibly hate and they aren’t happy to live their lives the way the want, they want everyone to accept them they way they are. I have every right not to want to have anything to do with them, and they have every right not to have anything to do with me. They won’t let it be though. If you don’t want to host their wedding then they will make sure you pay the price, even though there is more than likely 10 businesses in the area that don’t mind serving their parties or weddings, etc. If you don’t want to bake their cakes then they will make sure you’re put out of business or fined so heavily you can’t continue in business. It just gets worse every day. People like bugger aren’t happy with living their lives, they want to make anyone that doesn’t happen to agree with them miserable. Small minded to say the least.

What did you report me for Perplexed? Telling the truth! LOL! I don’t think that’s against any blog “rule.” I quit doing it, though I may start back up again knowing how much it disturbs you.

And newsflash girlie. You ARE a bigot. 100 years ago they felt the same way about black people in this country. Oh, don’t tell me. Your conservative home town is all for owning slaves. That doesn’t surprise me in the least.

It you that are the disgusting on here. Maybe I should report you.

Thank you Perplexed for your comments. I see Libby is still at it. Her hatred is now legendary.

On a good note, I was touched by the story of the lady in Ferguson that had her bakery trashed by the protestor thugs. She had worked so hard to establish her business, scraped and saved to get it running and it was gone overnight. A website was set up and generous Americans gave her over $100,000 to get back in business. This is still a good country who helps people in these situations.
