So the House lame ducks pass this bill to keep the lights on. Reckon there is any pork loaded into it, particularly by the ones who got their head handed to them in the mid terms?

campaign finance limits: why does it matter how much is allowed to be contributed? the problem is whether the politician is swayed by the contribution. if you have a good honest politician, it won’t make any difference how much.

Different Bob, Stan. I am beginning to think it’s you who keeps posting as me and replying to “me” in these posts.

        Also:

I’m a parent. I do more than you. If you want to call me lazy meet me in the gym, you are such a punk kid.

This weekend I am chopping a tree down for my mom.
Last weekend I want to a family event more than an hour away. I went to the gym at 8, left at 11:30 after a two and a half hour workout, got there at 1:00 left at 4:30, got home at 6:30, cooked, fed everyone, put everything away and cleaned, and still had time to have fun with my kids past 7:30 before going to bed just after at 9:30 ish.

About a week before that I took my daughter out for quite a fun weekend. Same program. I worked out in the morning, just after getting home I left immediately with her. I was still exhausted but I still participated in the physical activity.

We had food as a family after as well. I got home late, tired as usual. The life of a parent is being tired all the time, always on, always doing.

You don’t do this. I do more than you for family, I do more than you in the gym, I do more than you in life.

You don’t spend as much time as I do in the gym, being active in any event in your life. Let alone as active as I am with my immediate family.

You’re just a whiny kid who calls people ugly if they disagree with you.

Yes. I saw that. Agent must be an ugly hypocrite republican. That’s what they all are right?

You are a piece of trash. One I could easily over power in any way. So I don’t much care for your comments. Stop pretending to be me.

I was referring to Agent. I’m quite sure I pointed that out in regards to the ugly comment.

I’m not lazy. And I’m not a tool. I love that though, you preemptively put tool just in case I am physically fit.

You are so insane you’re contradicting yourself in favor of insults.

So you put lazy in case I don’t go to the gym, and tool in case I don’t. But it doesn’t make sense in either case.

If I don’t go to the gym, I’m not a tool (not the type you are trying to infer)

If I do go to the gym, I’m not lazy.

Your predictive insults I will call them, are idiotic.

You didn’t graduate. This is more in line with early 20’s behavior, and definitely not a college grad.

I’m extremely good with knowing the kids around WA Stan. You’re giving away your age and lifestyles.

I know my peeps. So to speak. I’m in a big family so I get to see quite an age range of people.

It would be so humorous to see how weak you are in every way in person.

I’m such a tool that takes care of his family, you know why Stan?

Because I’m a big bad republican. Wooooo.

            How horrible right?

I could take care of the whole family, and since I’m the big bad republican I am a tool correct?

You’re just a bad person. That’s all it comes down to. You’re a bigot, and a brat.

You attack republicans just like white on black in 1960.

I disagree with democrat ideals, and I make that known. I don’t make any commentary close to that of you about what democrat people are like. They must all be lazy right? Or something like that.

I’m a big bad republican, who judges others.

Kid, you’re a dime a dozen in the Seattle area. How do I know that’s where you’re from? I’ve seen the insanity. I was raised here. And I am not the only one Stan, who has woken up to the bleeding heart liberal open minded front, backed up by a cold hearted controlling live our way or die movement in WA State.

Somehow this state became outwardly blue, but inwardly how red is perceived to be.

Pay attention to your buddies and how they react to people who are conservative. It’s disgusting.

Two girls kissing, right on, I’m open minded.

Two guys wearing a cross, they will literally avoid all contact.

This state sucks. I already lived my 20’s in this state, and it’s something I do NOT want to go back and re-live. I should have moved.

Did you read my workout schedule that I posted on the other article? Not the one that listed the weights. The one that actually listed the days, and what I lift.

Read the repost, boy, the way I explain my routine it makes it clear I know what I’m doing:

I have a five day split to maximize my potential.

It is bad to do an extension twice in a row, it limits gains, same with pulls. Legs need to be as far apart as possible to ensure the maximum strength and size gains.

            So my days are:

            Mon – Off

Tues – Just Chest movements. Flat barbell, incline barbell, decline barbell, and machine fly, This day is short intentionally for a few reasons. It’s to build more muscle for the chest, rather than breaking down muscle with a lengthy workout. It also ensures I can still do a mass movement in a workout and due to the rest of the workout placement with extensions and pulls, it has to be this way to ensure I have a 5th day that still gains muscle and does not impede muscle development for the next day. It also ensures that every day starts with a mass movement. Curls don’t build much strength alone for example. You need to start with a mass movement. For this day, each of the chest routines are all mass builders, and it’s a short day. Which makes it enhanced.

Wednesday: Deadlift (mass movement), back, abs routine. Dumb bell rows, bent over barbell rows, wide arm and narrow grip pull ups, followed by machine pulls of the same for variance. All these are pulls. I throw in lower ab raises because the dead lift actually uses those abs for stabilization, and this increases the gains in the abs. This may sound like a short workout but again, I am emphasizing mass gains.

            Thursday: Off.

Friday: Chest dumb bell and biceps. Chest Incline dumb bell, chest flat dumb bell, chest incline fly, and chest flat fly, super set with a bicep routine for each. So for example: I super set chest incline with hammer curls, then I super set chest flat with twists, I intentionally do dumb bells for both chest and bicep this day. Remember my other chest day with just barbell? Barbells build more mass. I don’t want to inhibit my progress by putting barbell and dumb bell together, and furthermore, doing this ensures I have a building day, and then a day which is more oriented to shaping. I also put forearms in here. I do dumb bell for this too, one is leaning over a bench with my hands just over, and pulling my hand up toward my body, the other is standing with my hands to the sides pulling the weight upward with just my forearms, not biceps. I throw in negative dumb bell movements. In this case, I bend down, and stand up to get the weight up, and then I release it slowly with a weight I cannot pull up with my biceps to build the negative muscle, I do this for 4 reps. That’s all I need. It will likely get my bicep curls to 70 soon. I then throw in a dumb bell between my legs at 60lbs, and do weighted dips for decline chest shaping movements. It widens my chest where it connects to the sides by my back. It gives a more full look to the bottom of the chest.

Saturday: Squats. For this I need to make sure I don’t overdo the legs so growth goes well, this also keeps it far away from the dead lift. But it also separates the previous extension and pulls from the next day’s extension and pulls. I do a standard squat, up to 455 pyramid style and super set abs (used in the squat, much like the deadlift it is the negative muscle used for the squat) and calf raises. I use 3 45lbs plates, and a 25lbs to make sure I hit more in tune with 8 reps. Then I go to the leg press, super set with lunges. I used to do 80lbs, but right now I’m hitting 60lbs each arm to hit more reps. I then go to leg extensions, and hamstring curl machine.

Sunday: Tricep / Bicep / Shoulder day. I start with the shoulder shrug (mass movement) super set with a military press barbell, 45lbs and a 10 on each side. Then I super set skull crushers, 145lbs up to my max, with a barbell straight bar curl. I use the “easy bar” (nick name for the curved bars) for a bicep forearm curl, kind of like a jerk and I super set this with a dumb bell shoulder routine of 60 lbs. I alternate days here. One week I will use the straight bar on lower weight, one day the dumb bell. In other words, 100lb dumb bell shoulder press on days where it takes lead, 60 lbs when I do it after the barbell military press. The forearm has two purposes, one the forearm, but it also works the inner section of the bicep as well to shape it, rather than the negative dumb bell which shapes the alternate side. I super set forward and rear laterals. This I do 40 and 25lbs respectively. I throw in a secondary tricep, either bent over and extending my tricep with 40lbs behind my back, or with an overhead dumb bell, 80lbs for 6 up to 100 lbs for 5. I then throw in the shoulder raises with the 45 lbs wheel. So I’m doing 3 sets at any time. I hit cables for the negative form on biceps, and do slow twitch high rep slow movement curls. You have probably seen this movement. It is where the two cables you pull look like you are just showing off your biceps, but it’s a good negative routine.

The chest bicep and the shoulder days are the most intensive on the body building. The dead lift, squat, and only chest days are for mass / strength building.

But I bet you don’t know the difference.

All this with an hour of HIIT cardio each day.

I could kick your @$$ and am not lazy. This is an extremely good routine. It makes me outperform all my peers. You should probably take it. Heck, I’ll coach you if you want. This isn’t including all my variations. I could show you a lot.

I’m not all mean, just when I debate politics with people like you.

Oh yeah, I totally do spin class, and skip leg day.

Despite having a deadlift and squat section in my lift, that is in excess of 400 lbs on each.

            I’m such a pansy.

Meet me at the gym, if you want to talk trash.

2 and a half hours a day is basically pro athlete, and my lifts are no different.

Also do you know why I skip Monday? Of course, part of the reason is lifting beyond 5 days a week inhibits strength gains. In fact, typically you don’t want to do above 4 days of strength building. That’s why I made my fifth day the way I did. But the reason I skip Monday in particular instead of another: Religious education classes. It’s a hobby. I already told you I do more than you in life. Is my schedule becoming more clear now?

            Stan,

When you have a family, you get so caught up in doing things for them,

It is just what you do. You’re just being a dad, a husband, etc.

I wouldn’t for example go cut down a tree and say I’m being a family man while doing it. I would just do it.

We all walk in the shadow of our fathers as a side comment. And when I think family man I think of him. He completely dedicated his life to his kids, when he was alive.

It is quite intimidating to consider myself to be called a family man when I talk about what I do for my family.

            Stan,

My arms aren’t weak for one.

For two, you need to stop trash talking, it doesn’t make you manly.

For three: Grow up. We are not alike in insults. It doesn’t make me equal to you or more wimpy to defend myself from you calling me weak.

What, my only option is to cut my balls off and praise you?

You’re a macho weak willed piece of garbage.

Why don’t you come try and see how small my arms are.

This is really laughable. My father talked with me before he died. He said it was a little ridiculous how fit I had become.

You’re an idiot kid. I am literally top 1% of 1% in lifting. You can choose to see this as me being a tough guy. I have offered to send pictures and meet you in person.

Maybe I’ll even send you a picture that says “I love you stan, but you don’t compete” so you know it’s me.

            So pathetic.

You are obsessed with just throwing out insults. You are making your self immasculine. Not me.

            Stan,

95th percentile will do for me. Now that you’ve finally admitted I’m in the gym.

Even though you’re wrong on that, I don’t really care.

Something you should know with regards to athletes:

The top 1% and the top 1% of the 1% are extremely different in performance and I know the difference.

Let’s apply it to the U.S. The top 1% of the population is 3.2 million people. There are 50 states. This means there are 64,000 people in each state that are the top 1% performers.

I realize that not all the 320,000,000 people workout, but that’s the point. That makes the top 1% stick out even more.

Now when you go to a beach, how many people surpass Ryan Reynolds in shaping? Ryan Reynolds as a side comment has flat shoulders. He’s lean. He isn’t a body builder.

How many could go on a magazine?

This is where we get to the top of the top performers.

            Which is usually 1%

There are not 64,000 people per state that can lift 495 on deadlifts. In my weight class, the record for the state is in the mid 500’s, and that is not accounting for age.

That dies down to 640 per state if you go for the top 1% of the 1%. Half of these will be body builders, half will be power lifters. Those numbers are fairly correct.

If you go to a beach in WA, you will only see a few people who look like body builders, who are the 1%

On my lean, I am not one of the 5th percentile. Not even a chance. This is where you see your highschool and college frat boys, somewhat fit.

Bob, there were a lot of rich incumbents who lost in the mid terms and are busy packing their boxes up. In the past, it was almost impossible to unseat a sitting Senator with their large war chests. Of course, they had a sizable yoke of Obama to overcome this time. I am sure glad he made that video about his policies being on the ballot.

Then he turned around and hacked my Identity and published it all over the forum and Libby and Ins102 gleefully mocked me. To people like Booger, Stan, Libby and Ins102, they are the pits. They subscribe to a failed ideology so their favorite theme is to lie, criticize, insult, mock since nothing their side proposes works in this society. They think their President has been honest and forthright with the American People. They believe that Jonathon Gruber did not write the Obamacare Bill even though there is evidence he did from his own lips.

Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other – Oscar Ameringer

I offered my opponents a deal: If they stop telling lies about me, I will stop telling the truth about them. Adlai Stevenson

FFA, I will be honest with you. I couldn’t watch much of that game since the Bears were so disjointed, they could hardly run a play. Tell me, does Cutler really look like a $54 million guaranteed signing bonus quarterback to you with a $100 million contract if he plays it out? One commenter on NFL network think the Bears wasted their money and could have spent their money more wisely on other team needs. The coaching staff probably all needs to go from Trestman down. These players obviously don’t want to play for them and are just going through the motions. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears get SF Harbaugh in the off season and maybe he could restore the team. He may consider bringing Lovie back to be an assistant. The players played for him.

Especially the Freeport Il area, so many vacant building just falling apart. When I went down state, I traveled along the IL / IN border. More of the same. So many employers struggling to keep the doors open with unemployment rates so high, going to force more unemployment in Chicago, more vacant buildings falling apart.

Well Freedom, I used the Power of Ten method. Ten Resumes. Ten Interviews weekly. Any combination that added to ten worked for me. One of them ten passed my Resume to a Farmers Agent. Before I even got back to the current job, the Farmers agent was calling recruiting me for an agency producer. I met with him later that day. Told him I wanted agency. He passed it to the DMAT. The DMAT called me with in an hour and that was that. Over 25 years on Main St USA now.

Yet another blow out on National TV. They have never played very well in the Prime Time Spot Light. Their only loss in 85 was on Monday night. I would start chopping heads with the GM. I would love to see Jim Harbaugh on our side lines next year. Lovie is working in Tampa. That ship sailed.

Cutler…. No way is he worth that kind of money… No way. Then again, he did get beat up – 5 sacks again – last night. Still cant seem to come up with that magic formula to keep him on his feet.

Bill Cowher would be awesome. Fit right into the Chicago Black & Blue style. The Cubs & Sox are making a play for next year… Why not the Bears?

FFA, I think they screwed the pooch on the CAP with the Cutler contract. Where is the wiggle room unless they re-negotiate his contract to free up some room? I doubt if he would do that, but I could be wrong. The offensive line is woeful. They were just waving at those NO lineman to unload on Cutler. I don’t know who #75 is, but several shots showed him beat so bad, he must have been asleep at the switch. If that guy was playing for Denver or NE, he would be on waivers the next morning. You just can’t have that in the Not for Long league.

FFA, before the game, the commentators were saying that NO couldn’t stop anyone and their defensive line had the worst record in the league. Couldn’t rush, couldn’t stop the run and Forte’was going to have a field day. Guess what, the Bears offensive line made NO look like All Stars when Forte’ got basically shut down and the Offensive line let them in on every pass play and Cutler kept sailing passes over the receivers hands.

So what if he has gotten into it on the strength issue. You posted your so called capabilities in the weight room as well so you are the pot calling the kettle black. By the way, you will not be successful in getting FFA to abandon me, so quit trying. He is a businessman and an agent, you are just an underemployed 3 degree dufus.

Oh he’s right. I did to a number on Libby. Also: She thought that Osama was found in Iran. I actually corrected her.

My links to her were not wiki links on the norm, most of the time I intentionally quote MSN.

You actually asked me why I quoted NPR once. My answer, was because it was democrat leaning and you couldn’t insult it.

And furthermore, we are not dense.

You have made many errors in your posts.

You tried to use one link to show that the dollar was doing well, I used a multitude of links that showed QE was directly linked to gas prices going up, because it devalued the dollar.

In the past I actually informed Libby that Osama was in Iraq and we had information showing it, before he left.

If I ever typed Iraq, it was by mistake while talking about that fact. Osama was in Iraq just after the attack on the U.S. I specifically argued that Saddam told us we couldn’t inspect Iraq while he was there.

            Not that he died there.

Again, if I accidentally typed that I apologize, but I know for certain that you are thinking about when we also debated on whether the water boarding helped, and talked about the who lead to Osama Bin Laden.

It’s just a fact: The 40-65 generation built America. They didn’t destroy it.

Age is not just a number. Wisdom takes time + Experience. Or do you believe that 7 years in a field makes you as capable as 1?

I do think for myself. I refuse to think as you think. That is thinking for myself. Or do I only think for myself if I think what you think? That seems to be an untrue statement, little boy. You have a lot of wisdom to gain. I’m calling it. You are not past early 20’s. This attitude does not exist nearly to this degree in aged men. It just doesn’t.

Regarding gender roles: Your mother has legitimate beliefs there. A woman staying home to take care of the kids is, speaking in general, best for the kids. She is not a sexist. It is simply true that women are in a multitude of ways better at nurturing children. This is not to say they cannot do jobs and that is why they should stay home. It is simply the way the world works best.

Regarding Racism: I’m sorry your grandma is a racist. This however is another lie, that our grandparents are the racist group out there. You are experiencing a new generation in some ways, but new does not mean that suddenly the world is different and you are special or better than the last.

I will not insult my elders. I refuse.

I am choosing to not take a pointless argument. There is a distinct difference. Those who do not choose their battles, never win the important ones.

Napoleon could have focused on what color his socks were, how big his penis was, and other pointless factors. Instead he chose to focus on winning his battles. This is not to say I support his battles of course.

I choose to focus only on what truly matters. Not whether the sun goes ’round and ’round the garden like a little teddy bear.

And you laugh and call me an idiot. I’m an intellectual elite. People do not look into the individual ages of the LPR, and you know it. This does show I am not stupid. I do research. You just disagree with me. You refuse to argue research though.

Instead, all republicans are hypocrites, and general statements about people who work out, or something. Right?

One thing Bob that Stan still doesn’t realize is that the country turned red on him a few weeks ago and his beloved Progressive Socialist Party got their head handed to them. It is only going to get worse for them when legislation starts hitting them between the eyes starting in January. All he can do is snarl, insult people that disagree with him.

Bad news for you Agent. Even lazy Bob agreed with the article I posed a few weeks ago: the country is undeniably leaning left and the Republicans cannot field a national presidential candidate. Irrespective of whether democratic or republican policies are best, the country is turning more and more progressive and there is nothing you silly Agents can do about it.

I side with people that realize how bad OBama has damaged the Health Industry in particular as well as how bad a president this guy is. He may as well be Mark Trestman. This PPACA has got to be the most damaging “law” in our history. People who defend / support Govt Intrusion in to private business, I will never side with. So, here is your home work for today…Find one law where govt stuck their nose into private industry and made things better. I am 52, so lets limit it to that time frame. Hint… Its not the PPACA.

Im sure they take their responsibilities seriously. So do 5yr olds in a school play. That doesnt mean we should take their political views seriously. And this law is not damaging, millions of people now have health insurance.

What have the Republicans been offering? Well, they have a strong, militant, anti-labor union agenda—it’s really the most consistent stance in their platform. That’s it.

Obama has spoken often and passionately about the plight of the middle class, about declining wages and lost jobs and so forth. But since 2010, his ability to impact these things has been severely limited by the GOP House, which refused to enact any Democratic policies, and has on several instances attempted to use the threat of government shutdowns to win rollbacks. Unfortunately, the GOP has little new or serious to say on these issues–uttering the same supply-side nonsense (tax cuts for the rich, reduction of regulations, and race to the bottom) that they’ve been offering since 1980.

Admittedly, I’m bone-tired of Democratic cowardice. But the Republicans have nothing to offer me. Anti-unionism? A return to June Cleaver days? Religious militancy? No, no, and hell no.

“Bob’s weight lifting and Agent’s lunacy help and persuade no one.”

The reason why you believe that is all we focus on, is because you ignore

“The reason they talk about the actions of the 80′s, is that the actions of the 80′s work.

Unions are not a good thing as a side comment. But I won’t go into that.”

And then talk about weights instead of the topic at hand.

You see what you want to see, stupid republicans that cannot stay on topic, while you try to throw them off the rails.

          Stay on topic.

Do you want to debate Reagan Vs Obama?

I already showed you how an unemployment rate will drop, no matter the jobs scenario, if the labor participation rate goes down. If the LPR goes up, then if no jobs are added the unemployment rate will go down.

So Reagan had the LPR go up, while the unemployment rate went down.

Obama had the LPR go down, while the unemployment rate went down. Meanwhile, this is not due to college students or retirees.

While this site typos the exact number of points, he has the charts and data which show the ages of those in the LPR read this:

          http://www.economicpopulist.org/content/record-low-labor-participation-rate-not-due-retirement-or-school-5431

For just the age group of 30 to 59 year olds, they account for 0.73 of the 0.96 percentage point drop in the overall unadjusted labor participation rate from a year ago. The same age group is responsible for 2.29 of the 2.06 percentage point drop in the overall unadjusted labor participation rate from October 2009 to October 2013. The reason the 30 to 59 year olds 2009 to 2013 labor participation rate plunge is greater than the overall decline is due to older workers increasing in their labor participation as shown in the above graphs for ages 60 and above. From October 2007 to October 2013 the 30 to 59 year olds participating in the labor force accounted for 3.0 of the 3.1 percentage drop in the labor participation rate, unadjusted, using October to October labor force statistics.

          I should also add:

That after Obama’s stimulus, and after his programs wound down, etc, the jobs numbers actually are up this year. What’s with that? Spending is down, and jobs are up this year. Obama can’t get anything down with the blocking republican congress, and the economy is picking up.

Do you know what this reminds me of? 1995, the government shut down battle. The republicans obstructed Clinton, and then we had surpluses and an economic expansion. It was not before hand. Clinton’s second term was specifically far exceeded by his second.

          What gives?

It shows that getting the government to stop acting, is more important than getting them to act.

The stimulus wasn’t necessary, and now racked up way too much debt. QE wasn’t necessary, and now caused another housing bubble, and inflation.

You’re free to debate and disagree with me. You are NOT free to call me an idiot because you disagree with me.

Normal people don’t look up what I just put. YOU don’t look up the LPR and compare the ages of those involved. You just say “hey unemployment is down! we are better off!”.

The unemployment rate can be down without jobs being added. Your methodology is flawed.

I compare more aspects, like the LPR, and the age range of those in the LPR to show that the LPR is actually quite relevant, and you say I’m stupid.

Because I looked up more than you.

I’m older than you, but not by much. Unless you’re in the early 20’s, which is possible.

and none of it addresses why the 30-55 age range of the population does not have jobs and is declining still. None of this shows Obama has fixed the economy. It shows the pattern has continued whereas with Reagan, the pattern stopped.

Lifting doesn’t matter to me. To you, it’s a matter of social superiority. The same goes for if I do work out, I must be neglecting my family. Social superiority. But, this also shows you don’t work out.

You wanted to insult me on the basis that I don’t work out, but you yourself take offense to those who work out, shown in the fact that you said I ignored my family if I did, so it is clear that you do not work out on a regular basis.

I know people. I know why they make the arguments they do.

When you insult a guy online, he usually tells you that you are wrong.

It is however internet tough guy, to actually call someone weak physically and intellectually in order to get that response.

You are weak, due to this.

            Not your failed gym attempts.

I don’t care really because, as we all can see, when every single word you ever utter is front page news, you’re going to screw up eventually. And if thats the case, ill stick with the substance of the policy itself, and in this case, with the ACA, I believe that it is good for the country. Your feet are not on the ground dealing with this mess. Until they are, you – or anyone else – will never know the damage except on their SIPKING bills.

“What have the Republicans been offering?”
Don’t know. Don’t care. I just know its got to be better then this.

    “anti-labor union agenda”
I have two brothers in unions. One lost his house due to No Work. The second was on the Unemployment line for three years picking up what ever “side job” he could to feed his family. Unions have out lived their usefullness.

    “Obama has spoken often”
How can you believe anything he says. He is a proven Liar. He has zero credibility. You have more credibility then he does. The rest of your paragraph means nothing because you are defending a Liar.

“Bob’s weight lifting and Agent’s lunacy help and persuade no one.”

I just gave you several examples and you responded – – eloquently – – with “dont know, dont care.” This is unpersuasive, FFA.

And until you’ve been rejected from insurance due to a pre-existing condition, then YOUR opinion doesnt matter because YOUR feet arent on the ground. The idea that only people’s views that count are the ones that are negatively affected by a piece of legislation is ludacris.

And if my mind is made up, what does that say about you? You’re opening position is that Obama is a liar. To refuse to believe that the ACA – – an incredibly complex law that is thousands of pages long and which affects millions of people – – makes Obama a liar because of one “keep your Dr.” statement legitimately blows my mind.

The future is not going to be kind to you man, and if you think Republican’s have a solution because “Obama = liar,” well I dont know what to tell you other than that you’re wrong and life is only going to be worse for you.

Undeniable facts that I would not give any one a pass on.

Same thing it says about you. We are both exercising our constitutional right to make up our own minds. Guess we have something in common.

Obama is on tape 39 times telling us if we like our plan, we can keep it, if we like our doctor, we can keep him, we will save an average of $2,500 for a family. Then, we have his minion Gruber on tape numerous times with his lies, telling us we are stupid and can’t make decisions about our Healthcare so the Progressives had to tell us what we wanted. I suppose the 6 million that got their policies cancelled was a lie also. I don’t see a single example of Govt Intrusion into private business that has helped the country in the past 52 years in your post. Just rambling about Unions.

My mind is made up. Obama has lied so many times when he knew the truth that anything he says needs to be proven.

Don’t know where you been the past year or so, but yes indeed, my feet are on the ground writing this business – guiding people through this complex complicated over regulated BS soft ware dumbest way of rolling out BS that has ever taken place.

For example, you have open enrollment for Medicare, Medicaid, Public Aid, Personal Health and Group Health all at once. How many million people is that? Right before the holiday? Logistically, its not workable for everyone to be after the same thing at the same time. Very Poorly thought out. Web site is a mess – It keeps crashing. People on the 800 number help as much as they can, but when the web site sucks, they run into the same issues I do. One I put on last week keep changing the effective date to 2/1/15. Over 4 hours on the phone with one frustrated “help Desk” gal to get it fixed. She voided what I input three times and re-entered it from scratch. One and Done does not exist with this the way it used to – before he stuck his nose into private industry. Even the ICHIP site worked better then this does. I could even help people with the Medicaid / Public Aid. Now – no. People are thrown to the wolves and can not get Licensed Professional help/advice.

I don’t know what the Reps have in mind. I do know it has got to be better then this.

Govt intrusion into private business? How about regulating energy markets in California? With deregulation, Enron ran rampant with rolling blackouts along the west coast.

How about the EPA reducing the amount of lead in food and toys for children? How about the FDA putting requirements on drug companies to ensure proper testing and labeling? How about the CDC effectively mitigating and ultimately stopping an Ebola pandemic on US soil? How about the creation of SS, a program that you paid into and which will ultimately keep you and your friends out of the gutters when your body and minds deteriorate to the point of infirmary.

Do regulations impose externalities on businesses? Of course. But just because those externalities make life harder for YOU, does not mean that they are bad for the country as a whole. What benefits small business is irrelevant to what is good for a nation. Stop being so selfish. And to think, you have the gall to call the young people of this country entitled. Unbelievable.

Yet you’re ready to kick millions of people off their insurance because you had a bad experience with a “call center gal.” Grow up dude.

Changing doctors is not the same as being without health insurance. And if anything, that is a stronger argument for MORE reform since insurance companies can basically do whatever they want right now. The market is working against you, FFA. Let the government work for you.

Youre conflating owners of small business with employees of small business. More specifically, legislation that makes it harder for the owners of small business to retain the lions share of the profit, or that allow employees to leave small businesses easily for other businesses that pay more are technically bad for owners of small businesses, but they are good for the 80% of the country as a whole since those 80% are employees and not owners.

That is the whole point of voting democratic: enact policies that are good for employees, even if it costs the owners money.

Enron… That was all Arthur Anderson. A Subject that hits way too close to home. I lost a lot of clients over that one. Large chunks of real estate went vacant in my immediate area because of that.

Many people that were employed by small business in my immediate area lost their jobs over that mess.

SS was not in my life time. That created a retirement income stream that did not exist. Private industry came into that market after SS was Created.

My local govt among many others are suing city halls through the Midwest because they strapped us to the Prairie State Power Plant. You lost that argument.

The FDA is currently blocking a surgical procedure that I need. Its been done successfully for years in Europe. You lost that argument.

This is wrong. If a CEO makes $1mm instead of $20mm but the employees get raises and can afford to send their kids to college, that is not “bad for the gander” FFA. Its redistributive, but it has no effect on competitiveness. You are misplacing your faith in a flawed model of economics.

And Arthur Anderson was complicit in the accounting, not the deregulation. Again, you’re conflating two seperate issues. And its also telling that youre mad about the demise of a giant corporation that was based on fraud! Literally thousands of people lost their pensions, their entire lives due to Enron’s fraud, and yet youre mad because you lost a client. Jesus dude, get over yourself.

Great, go to Europe to get your procedure. You will love it since you can pay for it out of pocket, just like the free market entails. You will even pay less over there since their govt.’s put downward pressure on pricing (more regulation!).

And for the record, my arguments are not based on whether you as an individual has been a loser in their implementation. Just like its success wouldn’t be based on my gain. Its judged across millions of people, the macro effect.

And the exchange website is not for every american, its for those without coverage, roughly 10% of the population or 30mm people. And get this old man, websites can handle that kind of traffic. Facebook handles over 1b queries a day.

            A hypocrite again? Shocking!

I am an intellectual elite. Did you, or did you not, look up the LPR in comparison to the unemployment, and find out who was dropping out of the job market?

Did you find out that the unemployment rate was going down largely due to the lowering LPR rate?

You have no way of knowing I’m weak, and it makes you weak calling me weak.

As for dumb, the LPR rate and the link to the unemployment rate, compared to Reagan, is completely relevant information that is not dumb.

It’s research you don’t agree with.

            Methodology right?

I’m quoting sources to show numbers, then I set up the methodology. Do you disagree with the numbers I posted? Do you have proof they are wrong? Or are you using stereo types and insults to disregard variables of information? If it is the last of those, you are the problem with this country, and are in fact “stupid”.

Basically I showed you that the labor participation rate under Reagan went up with the unemployment, and that the LPR under Obama is down, and showed it is not due to retired folks. It is due to the labor force shrinking under Obama. It grew under Reagan.

I will say I don’t believe Obama is the worst president ever. This largely goes to FDR, whom gets a free pass for insane actions.

I consider Obama to average – bad. He is on the average side, but on the worse side of average.

I consider Bush W to be the average – average.

I consider Carter to be bad, – average

FDR did not fix this, he lengthened it.

Simply being president for 3 terms didn’t mean you fixed the problems of that time.

Recessions tend to be bounce back up quickly. The great depression is one of the few this didn’t occur.

FDR was not one of the greatest presidents, and specifically attempted to shut down radio stations who didn’t support his agenda.

Also: Can you name, another president, who WHILE PEOPLE WERE STARVING as you just mentioned, destroyed food and crops to increase the cost of food?

Why didn’t he simply create a tax offset for giving away all your extra crops and food to the poor? Or pay them for it? He was not efficient. When you burn crops and destroy food while people are starving, you aren’t helping people.

And what do you have to say about the Japanese internment camps?

If we want to debate FDR without randomly saying it is preposterous to ever infer he might be bad, you might actually research something. You lack research here from refusing to consider he might have been bad.

I dont hate old people, I hate foolish republican sheep who, as a demographic, tend to be older, whiter, and more christian. You could make a similar argument for hating the unemployed / entitled who tend to be younger, educated, and liberal. The difference is that the young people have never owned or controlled anything, so it seems silly to blame them for anything since they have never had the reigns.

Old people on the other hand . . .

Stan, can I recommend a good Psychotherapist for you? Your brain is so screwed up and you are so hateful to experienced businessmen, I doubt you will ever find employment. FFA & I and Sargeant were never handed anything in life and had to work our butt off to get into and build our business. I know that is a foreign concept to you, the entitled. We used our brain, work ethic and energy to get where we are. We didn’t sit around downloading apps on iphones or playing xbox when we needed to find work and start a career. How about using your education to get out and do something instead of complaining about us.

Stan, had you studied your history for even 5 minutes, you might know that it wasn’t all Peaches & Cream for anyone 30-40 years ago. Lot’s of ups and downs. My first employment after finishing school and the military was in a retail paint store. Now that is hard work, starting early and finishing late. I was most happy when I was recruited into the Insurance Industry. We all started at subsistence level, got promotions, raises, advanced etc. No such thing as starting at the top like you want to do. I lived in a number of apartments until I could qualify for a home loan and then bought a small home. We all had a lot of debt, just a different kind of debt than you do. We were all personally responsible for ourselves and our families. By the way, you should be thankful that someone gave you a job. With your attitude, that is a minor mircacle.

Yes. Not like there was a horrible recession in the 70’s or any hardships for the older generation whatsoever.

You act like life was amazing up until now.

            http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/02/18/AR2009021801081.html

And you refuse to acknowledge the housing prices are high, because of current democrats finding way to ensure the housing market would not bottom out. They figured there would be more cash in the market if houses were worth more. They were concerned with deflation. deflation is when there is less currency in the market, but it is more valuable, and housing costs go down. They say here:

“The administration estimates that simply by reducing foreclosures, the plan could stop the slide in home prices by as much as $6,000 per property.”

But moreover, housing costs actually did drop during the recession and are still down. So housing costs are actually no longer completely out of control, chances are you can buy more home for your money than you could in the late 80’s.

            http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/mar/13/home-prices-drop-less-half-2006-peak/

You act like their lives were easy. They were not.

And education was not more affordable.

As for surplus housing, if you’re buying a house in a highly populated area, it will cost more. There is literally less land, and more people. This is why it is harder to find surplus land. Not some evil republican ideals.

Make up your mind, either times are the same now as they were, in which case you all must suck since you’re making less than you were. Or times are now different due to systemic changes – – changes that are global in nature – – which have made life harder for workers of all ages.

I never said I hate younger unemployed entitled democrats.

Some republicans say this, and apparently you agree.

It doesn’t matter if they have never owned or controlled anything. That’s the meaning of “entitled”. Thinking that because you have never owned or controlled anything that you are ready to. You’re not.

And you just back petaled and said you hate foolish republican sheep, who tend to be older whiter and more Christian.

You hate older whiter Christian people.

They aren’t sheep. They believe differently than you, with quite good backed up facts. You are not special. You are not the only educated person in the world, who is always right and everyone else basically stupid because they don’t agree.

This is unbelievable with you Stan. Your weakness is exactly this. You assume you already know everything and others haven’t looked things up.

And I am not saying young people should own everything, im saying its foolish to blame them for something when they havent controlled anything. I hope you can see the difference, not many weight lifters can.

I did not say I hate older whiter christian people, I said I hate republicans. There is a difference. Kind of like saying I hate rabid dogs, which tend to be a subset of dogs. That doesnt mean you hate all dogs though.

The one exception is tools, I hate all tools. Especially the lazy ones.

And they are sheep, dummy. Look in the mirror (they have those at the gym you know).

Here I even wrote you a nice little rhyme:

Guess how often he typos when talking conceptually? All the time. You mock people for it is the difference. I don’t, other than you, who has a habit of mocking me. If you want to mock grammatically I will crush you. We are going to argue my concepts, not whether I said petal or pedal.

Now you are insulting weight lifters again, calling them stupid. This is a bigotry mind. You would have been racist in the 60’s. This is not an opinion, but rather a fact.

You said you cannot blame them for being unemployed then if I am now understand your phrasing. That is debatable to a degree. But I will give you this one. It is one of the first logical things you have said that works to any degree.

I am not a sheep, and I would screw you up in person for talking this way to me.

I hate to say it like that but I would

NO ONE talks to me like a child who is lead, just because I post facts they don’t agree with. You are free to call me wrong. You are not free to call me a sheep, with a children’s song I used to play for my daughter.

I am coherent. I talked about weight lifting after you insisted on calling me lazy physically, and still insist on doing so. If you don’t want to talk about it, don’t call me lazy. If you stopped calling me a tool, we wouldn’t discuss it. It is your choice to talk about that, not mine.

            Moving off of that:

How many people would you say believe FDR is the best president ever? Is it not generally considered that the majority opinion marks an ideal that would be considered a following like sheep?

How many people do you know that don’t agree FDR is the second best president?

It is because they were taught it. In highschool I wasn’t taught about FDR’s policies. I was taught about the new deal, the next new deal, and WWII. Did you even know what I mentioned about japanese internment camps or the food? You don’t know these things, and instead of think about them, you label the very action of questioning FDR and disregard them. How is that not being a sheep?

Regarding my brother’s paper I will consider it. Though this will give you far too much info on who I am for my comfort.

            I found the paper, Stan.

Even upwards of ten years ago we had no clue how to account for dark matter.

I am not sure even barring my own reputation that I can give this to you. It is my brother’s work, and he has a dedication to our father in it.

I can tell you he goes over Lya photons, baryonic gas is used for his testing example, and he references warm dark matter.

He’s an unbelievably smart man, and is republican like myself, contrary to your belief that republicans are stupid.

He rather infamously told another physicist who was being a sheep about democrat politics, that something that a politician they favored was stating could be done was bluntly physically impossible. Then he drew up the equations, and told the guy that he needed to think with his head, and not with political allegiances.

You call republicans stupid, and I find it caters to a stereo type that he suffered through graduating post grad.

At one point he was told to apologize for having voted for George W Bush, and was frantically attacked. He was also demeaned for being religious.

I know right? He’s religious AND graduated a renowned physics post grad school? That’s impossible right?

These stereo types you and people like you breed are damaging.

My other brother, also a republican, was a computer sciences major, who recently took some web development classes to just get into a more simple career.

I suppose he is stupid too. Never mind that his IQ was also around 150, and he actually came extremely close to a 4.0 in these web development classes, while working full time, with complete ease. He was docked for a trait all my siblings have:

Their intellect is far beyond their personal skills. In other words: He was asked to do a web development task, and his artistic sense was found to be lacking. He still received an A on it, but he did not get a 100%. I still remember telling me that if it were not for that project he would have a 4.0. Now he’s making $75,000 a year in web development. That is with a new 2 year degree, not his first one. He got that job a few years ago. So the question is as a side comment: Why did you struggle so much? He got back up on his feet with a degree change and a job change.

He just doesn’t know how to do research or get ahead right? He doesn’t know how to look up political information right? He’s just plain dumb! Nevermind that he found out the way out of the crap is to go forward into new areas, he is just dumb.

The brother who did the post grad was Valid Victorian in high school. Clearly, he was dumb. He graduated with I believe it was 3 majors and 4 minors in 3 and a half years. He is literally like Einstein in many ways. For example: His math was not nearly as advanced as his physics, though I always laughed when he would say that since he took multi-variable advanced calculus at a rather young age, and he did just fine in the class (though he hated it).

And for the record, Sheep, I wasnt mocking your brother. He’s not on here talking about curls, nor does he appear to be from Texas, so he’s done two things right thus far. Intellectually elite I would say.

FDR was keenly interested in farm issues and believed that true prosperity would not return until farming was prosperous. Many different programs were directed at farmers. The first 100 days produced the Farm Security Act to raise farm incomes by raising the prices farmers received, which was achieved by reducing total farm output. He did not have crops burned and livestock slaughtered to starve people. What he did do was to lessen the amount of production on the farms so that prices would rise for the farmers. So fewer acres were planted and meat production was lowered for economic reasons – not burning and slaughtering.

I have left you alone. Regarding your farm commentary, he specifically favored large farms for subsidies. You bought into the pitch, but what he actually did is another story.

He raised the cost of food during a depression in order to create government reliance.

He sold it as believing the farm market had to thrive before the economy did.

And further: Yes. Crops were destroyed.

            Moving on:

I just went over LPR’s and Reagan and Obama. You didn’t even debate it.

Instead YOU debated about my curls, and my weight lifting.

YOU keep bringing it up, and when I respond I’m a tool who talks about it?

            STOP TALKING ABOUT WEIGHT LIFTING.

            Jesus Christ!

Bob – me mistaking Afghanistan for Pakistan is no difference than you writing petal vs. pedal. You act like you’re smarter than I am because you said Pakistan instead of Afghanistan, when I think I’m smarter because I know the difference between petal and pedal. One is mistaking the place of an event. The other is fundamental misunderstanding of the English language. I think the latter is a better sign of intelligence than the former. You lose.

            3. You are the one that should back off. You are playing right into his hands by being so emotional. This is an anonymous forum and anyone can say anything about themselves. There is no way to prove it. So leave it alone. Nobody cares.

            4. You still haven’t answered my question. Are you in the insurance business or not? I’ve never heard you utter one word remotely related to insurance.

That Mike Pence is doing some great things there with their economy and is following the successful formula used in Texas encouraging business, lowering the tax rate etc. Walker has survived the unions once again and will continue his success unless he runs for President. Both of them use common sense which is sorely lacking with Progressives. By the way, there are not many Progressive governors left now, especially after the latest blood letting in the mid terms.

Looks like some of your Red tax-cutting, no Govt. states are having problems, FFA. Kansas is having huge problems after Brownback reduced taxes. Their credit rating has gone to pieces, a good education system is falling apart. Kansas has problems because of cutting taxes.

“Two years ago Kansas embarked on a remarkable fiscal experiment: It sharply slashed income taxes without any clear idea of what would replace the lost revenue. Sam Brownback, the governor, proposed the legislation — in percentage terms, the largest tax cut in one year any state has ever enacted — in close consultation with the economist Arthur Laffer. And Mr. Brownback predicted that the cuts would jump-start an economic boom — “Look out, Texas,” he proclaimed.

But Kansas isn’t booming — in fact, its economy is lagging both neighboring states and America as a whole. Meanwhile, the state’s budget has plunged deep into deficit, provoking a Moody’s downgrade of its debt.”

Hey Stan, might I remind you that the United States of America has had its credit downgraded under Obama’s watch for the first time in the history of the country. Have you ever been to Kansas? I have. This is the state that elected Kathleen Sebelius as governor and she looked the other way when Tiller, the baby killer was doing his thing on late term abortions. Kansas problems is that they don’t have much diversity in their economy. It is primarily agriculture and wheat in particular. On the highway, you can drive 50 miles and only see a windmill on the horizon. I suppose those Agriculture Dept subsidies haven’t done them much good. If incentives to business and tax cuts were so bad, how come Texas has a substantial rainy day fund and no deficits without a state income tax?

And the neocon branch comes from a long line of big government believers and control freaks. They don’t even understand the shock of the Orwellian names they give their legislations and new big government entities like the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security.

Establishment Republicans are despicable cowards, even the ones that arent from Texas.

I haven’t heard anything about the Cutler situation, but I bet it will be all over ESPN, NFL Network and others. Looks like the GM all the way down through the coaches will be seeking new employment when the year is over.

We have a number of teams with 2 or 3 wins this year and the musical chairs will be played out in the off season. If I remember right, Lovie was let go and he actually had a winning season.

Cowher may be good, but he has been on the sidelines for a while now and he is in the category of “retreads” now and not many of those guys do well if they come back to coaching. Many are surprised Jimmy Johnson didn’t come back to coaching after he left the Jones, but he seems to be very happy doing pregame for Fox.

I think several teams talked to Johnson for the first 5 years after he left the Cowboys and I am sure the offers were generous, but he decided he was through with the meat grinder of coaching and liked TV better. He also does not beat down coaches, but gives good info on players, strategies of the games etc.

Didn’t even know there was a black Annie… I work my 8 – 10 hours a day, go home, sometimes have to cook dinner depending on how my wife is that day and then do home work. Then clean up after dinner. When my wife does cook, its a bonus. Although she has been getting better and better now that she is over what ever it was that kept her down for over two weeks. My day end about 09:00 instead of after ten. Not much me time in my world.

Yes, the new version of Annie has black characters. The reviews were almost as bad as the most recent version of Peter Pan they showed on TV. My wife has liked all the other versions in the past and wanted me to TEVO it so she could watch it on her own. She got through about 30 minutes and deleted it. Christopher Walken as Captain Hook did not make it with the viewers and the woman playing Peter Pan was much too tall and gangly and the wire stunts badly done.

“In fact, targeted transfers to the poor and middle class would likely give a stronger immediate jolt to the economy than would tax cuts for the wealthy. Compared to the wealthy, the poor spend a much higher share of each additional dollar of disposable income that they receive, providing greater stimulus to the economy. Policy measures that alleviate inequality are thus a boon for economic growth.”

For every study you quote showing one side of the story (naively believing it). Your study you posted is one data table showing tax cuts for the rich don’t help. One.

I can give you ten, that show you’re wrong on the tax cuts for the rich.

One of the best ones here, would be comparing FDR’s top rate to Clinton’s. Which president had better middle class income growth? Top rate of 39.6, or 90-95%?

Which one has lower unemployment rates?

Which one had more of the population working?

You are stating that he is wrong when he’s not, then are trying to say what else won’t you listen to.

You yourself aren’t listening to anything. It is your preemptive thoughts on the matter that are holding you back. Preconceived notions common for your age group I might add….Which could it be…Makes you a sheep?

Bob – comparing FDR’s tax rates in the height of the Great Depression and Clinton’s during an unprecedented period of prosperity is ludicrous. Times change. Situations change. Solutions have to change to fit the time and situation. Ones solution does not fit all. I would have thought an intellectual elitist, such as yourself, would have realized that.

It is comparable, and you are wrong. Times do change. If the economy was doing poorly from the lower tax rates, we would see it with these lower rates.

I love how the best middle income growth occurring during lower tax rates says nothing about the lower tax rates,

But the slightly higher tax revenues between Clinton and Bush W is the reason behind record surpluses and record deficits, that will now continue forever, apparently.

This is when we debated why Bush W went to war with Iraq and I said the WMD’s was not the sole or even a major reason behind it. I stated that Osama was in Iraq at the time and Saddam refused to let us inspect.

When I told you that you didn’t even know where Osama was when he died, and brought it up later on, it was specifically when we debated Iraq.

Apparently you are equally stupid in this area.

I gave you a multitude of links that you disregarded in regards to the cost of homes, which is relevant to you saying the older generation had a lower cost of home ownership. You didn’t direct it.

I have no desire to give you links on this one, my point was solely that just as many people state taxes for the rich are bad as they do that they are good. You chose one link, and went with it, because you wanted to believe it. You didn’t go over the methodology.

You are delusional. I have been posting facts, and you can’t get over the workout, again you defaulted to sticking to workouts.

Home ownership was less costly during Agent’s time period, and show why those costs are up due to republicans.

According to the link I gave you, which is what the democrats wanted to do,

Housing costs were raised by an average of $6,000 per home. This is inflating housing costs, which you don’t like, and democrats did it.

Do you want the topic, or not?

Al Quada was in Iraz after 9/11, but there is no evidence bin Laden was there. We have tons of evidence he was, however, in Afghanistan. Bin Laden being, or not being in Iraq, had nothing to do with our invasion of that country. This is something new you are spouting and it’s just not true.

It is interesting FFA how liberals think. No wonder the country is so screwed up particularly in the last 6 years. They compare my debt when I was a young man to today’s world. Believe me that my debt was just as heavy back then as anyone in the world of today. We didn’t make much money back when I bought my first home. We lived paycheck to paycheck and had to watch our budget like a hawk to make ends meet. My wife was a stay at home mom looking after two young daughters so my income was it and no money for toys like so many of young people of today have to have to live. By the way, back then, we all paid income tax and didn’t expect half the population to support us. I would call that Personal Responsibility and the will to succeed.

Stan thinks he know all about this health care crap when he has not had a minute of anything to do with it. I guess Text Books and a Govt that lies is more credible then people that actually are working within the system… and getting screwed by it.

Years past, I would get a one page document regarding health renewal. Last week, 11 pages to me and to my wife. 1 page up to 22… And Stan thinks that’s better…

Actually Libby, I am an economics buff since I have a degree in it and you have not. What makes you think I bought a house for $12,700 on a salary of $5,315? I don’t go back that far. That is post WW2. Try getting your mind in the game. The point I made was the debt I faced was just as difficult to manage as the inflated values and salaries of today. Tell me, how did all those people qualify for sub prime loans they couldn’t pay for in today’s economy and face foreclosure? There were much fewer foreclosures when I was young because people actually had jobs to pay their mortgages. Everytime I bought a house, I moved up to something larger and nicer because my income kept rising. Poor Stan will never know the joy and pride of home ownership because he will never qualify because of poor work performance, no job or some low paying job.

FFA, regarding your comment on how things have changed in the past 6 years, the fact is that the USA has less respect in the world than at any time in my adult lifetime. Other countries think they can bully the US on anything. Most recent is the tin dictator in North Korea and the Sony issue. What action has Obama taken to rein him in other than to condemn the action? 0! Making nice with the brutal dictatorship in Cuba makes no sense.

We have a President now who rules through Executive Order aka Memoranda’s. It will be necessary for the new Congress to defund much of what he is trying to do and keep him in court to challenge his Progressive Socialist policies and force him to veto bills which will make him more unpopular than he is already. If they aren’t going to impeach him, at least make him a very lame duck who gets to play a lot of golf in the next two years.

Good for you Libby. The Battle of the Bulge was the death knell of Germany and George Patton saved the day for the Allies. If you haven’t done so, I recommend you read “Killing Patton”. Of course, they were helped by the Eagles losing to a three win Washington team and them losing their last 3 games. I got to see some of the Bears/Lions game. The Bears did not mail it in and fought hard, but in the end did not have what it took. It will be interesting to see what they do with Cutler in the off season. Think there is a good market for him with his performance?

FFA, the Bears screwed themselves with the $54 million signing bonus on Cutler which counts against the cap. I suppose cutting him would save in the next few years if they don’t have to pay him more. He looked pretty forlorn standing on the sidelines watching the action. It did appear to me that the offensive line blocked better for Clausen than they did for him, but I could be wrong. Time for a new direction in Chicago and all of management should join the unemployment line.

Well, we don’t know how the playoffs will go and who will have to travel where in the wild card games. I think the cold weather teams have an advantage since they are used to it. You may not remember, but the famous ice bowl in Green Bay was not a pretty picture with the field completely frozen and about 0 temperature. I know technology in uniforms is better, insulated for better protection and now they have heated benches, special gloves and heaters blowing on the sidelines, but it is still hard to play in the frozen tundra. The reward is to play in a domed stadium in Arizona in the Super Bowl.

I will wait to see who emerges from a considerable pack who makes the most sense and has the ability to beat a Hillary or Elizabeth Warren.

Classic Progressive Democratic response Stan. You should go after Ron on his choices. As a Progressive Independent, he waits until the day before an election to make his choice known. By the way, I can bitch all I want about Democrats since they have been in office and responsible for the mess the country is in currently. When the Republicans take office in January, feel free to bitch about what they are doing that doesn’t suit your political taste. I will also criticize them if they don’t do what they said they would. The mid terms were a start, but actions speak louder than words.

FFA, switching subjects and hoping Stan will go away, did you see the Broncos/Bengals game last night? That was a competitive game and the Bengals came to play and intercepted Manning 4 times. They also sacked him several times. The offensive line looked a lot like the Bears offensive line. Manning is fine as long as the line gives him good protection, but he is very vulnerable when they don’t since he can’t scramble like many of the younger quarterbacks do. I don’t like their chances when they have to go to New England assuming they get that far.

If there are no ups and downs in your life, it means that you are dead.

      Another one that is good.

      Three simple rules in Life:
      1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
      2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.
      3. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.

These words will give you a new understanding of issues that most people have contemplated at one time or another.
If these words were spoken years ago, we would have entirely different influences in music, movies, and language.
If these words were spoken years ago, we would have a much smaller national debt.
If these words were spoken years ago, we would have all of our great cities prospering.
If these words were spoken years ago, we would have far less violence and have far less need for gun control.

For the Bears, all those coaches are gone. How about bringing Rex Ryan in and he can get his brother to run the defense? They could not do worse than Trestman and his coaches did this year.

Detroit is tough. Don’t know how they will be without Suh. He has been dirty since day one. They have another dirty on that put a dirty hit in Claussen two weeks back. Forced Cutler back into action last week.

Suh also had a suspend able offense against the Bears last year so its not his first go around. This suspension should be longer. Knuckle head just hurting his FA value.

Not sure I want either Ryan on the side lines. NO D was horrible this year and he did nothing special in Dallas.

I sent the Bears my Resume. I cant do any worse, but Ill do it for a lot less pay. My Play Calling – “Go out and get open”…

Mike Shannahan would be a nice addition… I am a firm believer if they threw a ton of money at Cowher, he would come out of the booth.

Did you hear Virginia McCaskeys Take on the Bears??? “I’m Pissed”. Ted Phillips needs to go too. He is the one that had to sign off on Cutlers Deal. He should feel the pain.

Yes FFA, that Suh is a piece of work and needs to be tested for Roid rage. You are right about him being caught before kicking and stomping on players. If I were the NFL, I would lighten his wallet a lot and the Lions should do the same. Let the suspension last well into next year.

It looks like a bunch of coaches are going to be on the unemployment line. Most are retreads. Why hire a coach that has just failed or has failed a couple of times? Also, just because a coach has had success as a coordinator does not translate into success as a head coach. A good example is Norv Turner who never did much as head coach of the Chargers and he wore his welcome out. Great college coaches also do not transition that well into the pros. Look what happened to Steve Spurrier and the Redskins. After a few dismal years, back to the college ranks with SC. Whoever ends up getting the Chicago job will have his hands full and limited in what can be spent due to Cap issues on the Cutler contract.

At some point, the NFL has got to start hitting the owners. Any team would love to have him as he is one of he best D Lineman in the NFL, but I cant see much difference in the end result of what he did vs what Ray Rice did. Both of them dirt. Ray, maybe a one time shot, but Suh has proven over and over he is dirty.

FFA, I can’t remember the lineman’s name, but he played for the Redskins & Titans a few years back. They played Dallas and the Cowboys center was a guy named Gurode. After one play, this dude had Gurode on the ground and stomped on his face with his cleats. Cut up Gurode’s face and the guy got ejected. Another case of Roid rage. I wonder how many times these guys get tested during the year. I also wonder how many games these players cost their team with unnecessary penalties at the worst possible time.

Well FFA, looks like Suh gets to play after all. He appealed and got re-instated and only has to pay a $70,000 fine. How bad does a foul have to be to get suspended these days? If it was a case where he was blocked into Rogers and fell on him, that is part of the game, but when a player is upright, just steps on the foot and then does it again for good measure, he should be out of there. It hasn’t been a good year for the NFL considering the Rice case and Peterson and now Suh. Perhaps the Commissioner needs to go if he can let this kind of incident go with only a fine.

Mareota is so much better than him, it is not funny. Fla State has been living on the edge all year and when they ran into a truly great team, they were blown out. Also glad Alabama got beat. All the announcers have already given the game to them, but Ohio State didn’t get the memo and Urban Meyer really had them ready to play. Saban has had his success, time for someone else to ascend to the thrown. I just hope it is a good game.

Well, the Detroit game was tough all the way. I got a little nauseous after they scored two touchdowns early, but Dallas finally got their act together and played well in the second half. Detroit lived up to their reputation as being one of the dirtiest teams in the league. When you go for the head on a tackle, there should be no place in the league for you.

It was a typical Detroit finish. Had them on the ropes but just could not finish… That pass interference call was a home town call all the way through. Your Defender ran right through the receiver…

Was good to see room kept his witts about him, that’s for sure… Could he be MVP?

FFA, why is it when the league has a cream of the crop crew working the playoffs, they miss several calls? They missed several on both sides. Why wasn’t the linebacker for Detroit ejected from the game for trying to take Cole Beasley’s head off on one play. I don’t know how Beasley got up from that hit. He is a tough little dude and the Dallas version of Welker.

I do think Romo has matured and doesn’t make the bad interceptions much anymore. No panic now even if he has been sacked several times. He could be MVP, but I think he will have to win the Super Bowl to get it and he has to go to the frozen tundra and get by Rogers first. I wonder how Rogers leg is after being stepped on by Suh twice last week. It is getting down to the nitty gritty now.

I think the refs in the playoffs have a different mind set… Let the players Play as opposed to call every little infraction.
I didn’t catch the head hit, but what I did hear of it being talked about, it was typical Detroit dirty play. That should have had an ejection.

All in all, it was an entertaining game of what I saw of it. I missed part of the third quarter during the Dallas Come Back.

Dallas GB is gonna be a good match up. Its cold out there so Romo & Company better be practicing in very cold weather. 29 below wind chills here this am. Has to be colder in GB.

First time playing a playoff in Green Bay since the famous ice bowl. That field was frozen harder than your driveway. I understand they put some coils underneath the field that keep it from freezing now, but it will still be awfully cold. Dome teams have a lot of trouble up there every year. From what I see, Chicago is heading for another winter like last year when Lake Michigan froze over. Maybe Al Gore was in town telling them Global Warming was coming.

When I walked my Gr Son to the bus this am, it was 29 below wind chill…. They do have heating coils under the turf, but when it gets that cold…

Remember the hit that ended Farves Career? Was an out door stadium because the roller dome collapsed and they did not have time to thaw the field.

Well, I think a lot has been done to improve the undergarments of players for the cold, gloves, pockets in the jersey and hoods under the helmet to protect the ears and face of the players, heated bench, warm blowers on the sideline big insulated coats when they are on the sideline, but Green Bay is Green Bay and the wind chill will be very low and difficult.

By the way FFA, the receiver on that play had the Dallas defenders face mask in his grasp. King of hard to turn your head and look for the ball in that situation.
