FFA, I am sure you remember the fearless leader advocating for electronic records that could be shared by medical providers on every patient. How good do you think the records are to the hackers? By the way, if this many companies have been hacked, dare I say the Healthcare.gov has been hacked 100% for the records.

FFA, did you see the article on Townhall.com that Emergency Room visits have had a big spike since Obamacare was fully implemented in 2014? Remember, that was one of the proponents big arguments for passage that when more people were covered, they would stop using the Emergency Room so often and that would reduce costs. What the law of unintended consequences didn’t take into account is the reduction of primary care physicians who were out of network or they decided to stop practicing rather than face the nightmare of the law, reduced payments etc. So, people are flooding the Emergency Room once again straining the facilities, no re-imbursement due to high deductibles etc. And people wonder why Conservatives wanted to repeal this monster.

I didn’t catch that. Been too busy moving my office and my house. Today, I find out the other Grandpa had a Heart Attach and his heart is functioning at less then 25%. He has been a big help in the process. Now he has to cut back considerably.

Imagine if a thief broke into your home and stole things belonging to you and a neighbor. The police come and file a report then the D.A. charges you with failing to secure the premises and levies a fine with little to no effort in finding the thief. That is what has been happening with electronic records. Just look at what happened to target, etc. The government is fining the victims not pursuing the criminal!

Its more like if a theif brok into a dry cleaners and stole clothes belonging to people other than the dry cleaner. The dry cleaner assumed responsibility of the property of others and therefore is liable for that property.

And the Dry Cleaners carry Bailee coverage for damage they cause to clothes in their care, custody or control. Other companies are getting hacked for their information and nothing backs them up.

Bob, I agree that Hackers are always one step ahead of the defenders and the damage is done before they even know how much. Since the Privacy Laws were passed, we have less privacy than ever before. If it isn’t the criminals, it is the Federal Government wanting control of every facet of our lives.
