And, what exactly was wrong with cars before all this computerized garbage?

When my PC crashes, it’s annoying. When my PC crashes when it’s going 70mph and I’m inside it…

Well, when you have to have work done on a car now, they have to hook up a computer to analyze it. That pesky computer runs all the operations of a car. We will have more problems as it goes along.

It is the same old story. Everyone knew about the hazards but since everyone was doing it then it was okay. Is there ever going to be a time when we think before acting in this society? Are we that close to lemmings in the org chart of life?

Anything with wireless communications is hackable.
The only way to make cars with automatic braking, parking, steering or driving “hack proof” is by having those operation performed by a computer that is not able to access the internet, or wirelessly communicate with anything, and have it not access the other computer system in your car that can access the internet.
