Jack, does this administration have any credibility on anything they say about Healthcare given the record of the past almost 6 years? Some of these enrollees have signed up, dropped out, signed up, dropped out. A typical person might be counted at least 3 times. Anything to make the numbers look good, right? It sure looks like you saved that $2,500 all right.

Listen, we have to dispel this myth that Agent knows what he’s talking about. He knows exactly nothing of which he speaks. He wants this forum to look just like other conservative forums and we don’t want that in Insurance Journal.

I dont think any one in the forum knows more about Health Care Policies then I do. I have been “working” the system since day one. What I do know is that it is worse then it was. What I do believe is what the carries say, not the liar in charge that thinks he knows all.

Even Hillary and Bernie will gut the funding so it will go away. They are both stopping just short of saying this is a disaster and needs to go.

One thing he is dean on right about is the credibility. You heard the lies your self.

Gee, Jack, you don’t seem like the kind of guy that would ever admit to buying your health insurance from Obamacare. On the chance you purchased it on the open market on your own, maybe it’s just you that they charged extra.

Just curious, Agent, on who you support for 2016? I’m one of those undecideds who doesn’t like ANY of the candidates. It’s interesting watching Hillary and Bernie go at it on the left, though ultimately I think Hillary will be the nominee. I know everyone is salivating at the possibility of the FBI indicting her on her emails, but I’d be willing to bet a substantial amount that it doesn’t happen.

On the right, I did like Marco Rubio up until watching his robotic performance over the past few days. I don’t think he’s ready yet for the presidency. I wish Paul Ryan would have thrown his hat into the race. Both Trump and Cruz would be a disaster for the Republican party and would virtually guarantee a Hillary victory. I hate to say it and I know you hate to read it, but at this point I don’t see Hillary NOT winning in November.

Kasich is the only sane one in the clown car, so, naturally, he doesn’t stand a chance, even though he has a proven track record in both the Legislative and Executive branches.

With regard to Louie’s question, more specifically, who is your choice for Republican nominee?

I am an Independent, but never believed the average cost would be reduced $2,500. I read things such as this:
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/promise/521/cut-cost-typical-familys-health-insurance-premium-/

Premium savings is not why I wanted change in healthcare. The fact that people couldn’t get healthcare was and is. The law needs improvement, but it certainly was a step in the right direction. Congress should do less voting to repeal (what a waste of tax payer money) and do more work to improve. But, this is the most ineffective congress in history, so I am not holding my breath.

People could get Health Care Planet. everyone in insurance industry knows that but keeps ignoring that it was available. All health care needed help. The underlying factors did not need to be completely ignored. Tax this that and the next thing was nor will ever be the answer to the problem.

“There it is. There it is – the memorized, twenty-five second speech.”

Regardless of what happens for the rest of this election cycle – primary or general, that exchange is going to be talked about and mocked for years and years to come. It’s up right there with Dan Quayle’s potato with an ‘e’ and Howard Dean’s scream.

I understand that sometimes when you get attacked, you can freeze up and say the same thing over and over again, but the Rubio-Christie exchange was just painful. When he used the “Let’s dispel with this notion…” for the second time, I cringed, figuring he was going to get blasted for it. But when he started on it for a third and fourth time, I was just blown away. You know it’s bad when even a Democrat is yelling, “Dude, shut up! You’re just making it worse!” at the Republican candidate on their tv.

if you actually look up the context of the Howard Dean Scream, it’s not as crazy as it was made to look, yet that’s how we remember Howard Dean. Seriously, google it. Also, Quayle’s gaff was that he actually read what was in front of him. Such is the wonderful age of 24-hour news and “GOTCHA!” Moment in which we live.

PETE, you can’t get any further left than Planet. By the way, these so called Independents amaze me that they can’t make up their mind until they go into the booth. I saw an interview with one of those New Hampshire voters and he said he made up his mind over morning coffee on Tuesday morning. The brain cells just don’t function very well for these people.

By the way, how did Hilliary end up with the same number of delegates when Bernie beat her so bad? Answer: she had some pledged Super Delegates. I wonder how loyal they will be when she is indicted.

      PETE,
I am an Independent because I vote for both R and D candidates. There are some good R ones here in Iowa, like Bill Northey for example. That’s an example of one R I voted for. But these Teahadists running for President, on the other hand…

I would consider Kasich if he becomes the R nominee. Depends on how hard he pushes on social issues. Some of those social issues are Holy Grails and are deal breakers if he’s going to look to overturn them. He’s the only one over there who understands science, so that’s a plus.

There is an extremely real possibility there won’t be a leading nominee for the Republican party come RNC time, and they’ll have to decide then. It’s actually possible that they’d try and draft Paul Ryan as the nominee. I honestly think a Ryan / Kasich ticket would be the strongest to beat Hillary (indictment or no indictment for her highness).
