We have had State Farm Home Owners Insurance for over 40 years in Mississippi. We had only one claim in 1998 until one in 2015 for $1800.00 and guess what State Farm canceled us. Even though we appealed the cancelation they would not reinstate the policy. Garnet West in Southaven, Miss was our agent. I do not feel he supported us in the fight. I only recommend that you think twice about the Insurance Company you use in the future.

Kenneth, did you not get hit by Katrina? A lot of other people did in Mississippi. State Farm had some real trouble down there alleging rising waters vs wind damage. That went on for a long time. By the way, in Texas, they fought about a 10 year war declining to refund overcharges to their customers despite the Department of Insurance and a judge telling them to do it. They finally did refund, but they were not their policyholders good neighbor.

Yep…State Farm spends more on claims than it collects in premium from customers(operating loss.) Conclusion: They must not pay claims:)

Conclusion: They often are forced to pay claims after first denying them.

I find myself in a brutal fight with State Farm just to get treatment. It’s hard to believe this is real in 2016. Denial after denial, prostitute Doctors and Lawyers. SAD

I am about to drop them like a bad habit. I have had second rate subprime insurances treat me better than State Farm.

Are you a State Farm agent or a consumer? State Farm does not permit their agent to use other companies under the Captive agreement.
