Lets have some news on when new states will be added to the list. I live in AZ and Theres even an Office in Tempe but no news as when AZ will be included as an ins. state.
I have had 2 claims with Metromile in the last 2 years that I have had them. 1st claim was also using an app, a 3rd party app but that vanadalism claim took over a month for them to get on board and finalize with the auto body company. I had a recent claim due to a hit and run on my parked vehicle. This also still used a 3rd party app through National Insurance Group Company, NGIC, which is the true insurance provider for Metromile. Metromile is moerely and agent. The result of that claim was denial of the claim, since they stated the damage had to be done while the car was in motion. Terrible company for honest people.
I hear that recently Metromile stopped using their 3rd party company to handle the claims and have taken over the process “in house” now. I had seen those same kind of reviews but was happy to hear the update:)

July 2018 I received a mail ad from them here in AZ. I signed up on July 30. Arizona is the latest state.
