I agree with President Trump that insurance companies should be involved in discussions of the plan to replace the ACA to ensure a smooth transition from what we currently have to what his alternative will be.
Agree. The insurance companies are the only one’s that have any idea what drugs & medical procedures cost. The patients/consumers certainly have no idea. Fixing healthcare is a tall task but Trump has once ace in his pocket – if it’s not fixable, he can sell the idea to his supporters (which is what he does best)that Obama dug a hole so deep with the ACA that it’s not fixable.
So, if he does not keep his promise to fix health care he is going to sell “Blame Obama” to his supporters? The same people who criticized President Obama for blaming Bush? If that works, his supporters are even less educated and more hypocritical than I thought.
Ron, It’s not that we’re uneducated or hypocritical, it’s that we voted for Trump for half of his statement. The remove Obama Care piece. If he replaces it, fine, but with Hillary it was status quo. So you voted against him because he said remove and replace Obama care. Most of us were for the remove part.
If that is the case, then I retract “hypocritical” from my statement. However, just repealing the PPACA will result in tens of millions of American citizens losing coverage and huge increases in our deficit.
I did not vote for him, or Hillary, because I did not want either to be the face of our country to the rest of the world. Also, I am using my vote to try and encourage more Independents to run and have a legitimate third party candidate each election, especially in the debates.

NO ONE is falling for the libitteral line “…but, but, but, X million will lose their healthcare (insurance).”
There is Medicaid and other state plans for the indigent.
There were pools for high cost, sick risks, which can EASILY be re-established, state by state, or perhaps regionally or nationally.
However, there is no coverage, and apparently no cure, for Trump Derangement Syndrome, Liberalism, Socialism, or Communism.

Reagan didn’t blame Carter for 8 years. He rolled up his sleeves, made the hard choices and went out an recovered the country. Good thing Republicans don’t act like Democrats. They blamed Bush for eight years for anything and everything. Trump is going to work hard and he is a winner. We may actually get tired of winning all the time. Progressive policies and their mouth pieces are all toast now.
It is great to see President TRUMP open the doors to improve the medical insurance program.
If I remember correct, our past president closed the doors to pass obamacare.

This confirms part of my clue; i.e.
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS
I hope they include all necessary changes. I’ll do a tally after the plan and state legislation is published.
Tonight, TrumPresident mentioned several of the criteria I included in my clue… but not all.
Here’s a couple;
HEA – Health Expense Accounts (Health Savings Accts)
Note: The word ‘savings’ conveys the prior design of such accounts. ‘Expense’ is a revised, modern version of the accounts needed/ to be used.
IFIC – Interstate For Increased Competition. i.e. licensing of insurance cos. across state lines.
I’ll post more detail later, corresponding to the other letters in that phrase, AFTER the final plan is revealed…. (to borrow from Nancy Pelosi Galore).
Also they must want to infuriate Republicans who also are not allowed to view the bill, all that after years of whining about Obamacare being formed in committee for a year being too secretive.
Who knew health care could be so complicated? Not Mr. Trump. He doesn’t have a clue about anything. Repeal and replace ACA immediately? That was BS, like so much that spews out of his mouth.
Please elaborate why the ACA R&R has / had to be IMMEDIATE to be a success.
Please, also, reflect on what happened when ACA was drafted behind closed doors, with Republicans shut out, and was passed hastily.
Clues: adverse selection. tax penalties option preferred to purchase of insurance. exemption of almost 2200 firms, unions, companies. 29 hour work rule for exemption. mandate. deemed Constitutional only by re-defining ACA as a tax. higher deductibles to lower premium for higher excess coverage. single-payer ultimate goal.
This is the point you keep missing. Nobody here has stated they want an immediate repeal and replacement. It was Candidate/President-elect Trump who promised an immediate replacement. He also told us the replacement will be great, implying that he had a plan already. How else would he know it will be great if the replacement plan did not exist?
We are holding him accountable for failing to keep his promise.
Confused, did you realize you called Ron a clown. I am sure he appreciated an insult from you.

LOL at the backtracking Libitterals {and self-proclaimed Independents} who criticized that the plan was said to be ‘immediate repeal and replace’, say that hasn’t happened, but now, when pressed to explain why that is necessary for success, deny saying such.
Debate is impossible. OK, let me revise that; reasonable debate is impossible. I think I’ll go fishing for my lunch.
What backtracking? Quote what I stated previously to make you state this.
Reasonable debate is only impossible when the other side misinterprets what you state. If you actually paid attention what I post, and posted based on what I actually posted, we could have a reasonable debate.
I never said that time frame was necessary for success. I criticized Trump for failing to keep his word.
I only brought that up as a reply to your post stating “No one in their right mind expects an immediate roll out of a plan after a meeting. But, of course, Democrats did, and their supporters do”
I do not need to go back to prior comment pages to COUNT all the criticism that TrumPresident or the Republican Congress have NOT YET (as of that particular day) published a plan. Anyone who refutes that can go back and find the dozens of such criticism comments.
I still have NOT READ ANY LIBITTERAL explain WHY a plan needs to be rushed out.
I don’t give a %$&* what TrumPresident said about ACA R&R before or after the 11/8/16 Election. His awareness of the complexities is seriously lacking, as he recently admitted. I am only concerned that politicians (not just Republicans) get it right this time. I will be comparing the plan to my list of criteria; ‘HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS’ when the Republican plan is released. I’ll bet it’s incomplete as state by state legislation is a vital component, and Dem governors or legislatures are set on resistance. Such childish resistance should be reported to the American public.
Side point on a related matter: have any Libitterals criticized Gruber, Emmanuel, Jarrett, etc. for their major, colossal failure? If not, why ?
I am confused why the guy now is asking for help from insurers and governors for his Trumpcare program. The guy REPEATEDLY said he has a program that would provide EVERYONE with vastly inproved health care insurance at MUCH LOWER cost than ACA? Why doesn;t he simply have Spicer tell us the details?
You have obviously ignored my clue, posted MANY times.
Once more;
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS.
As I stated last night, after the speech, two of the criteria he mentioned were:
HEA – Health Expense (not Savings) Accounts. Savings accounts suggest the OLD way of saving, whereas the ‘Expense’ approach is a subtly, but significantly different approach necessary for success.
IFIC – Interstate For Increased Competition. We’ve heard this before, so I’m not revealing anything yet unpublished.
Stay tuned for more details as they are published, and I will point out which letters in the phrase above refer to them.
I want to hear the specifics from someone who actually matters, not you. You have been proven to be a false prophet and considered a discredited source by every rational person here.
Who will be regulating the interstate licensing? Or do we just let insurance companies do whatever they want and hope the free market weeds out the bad players?

PolarBear, have no issue with free market but it’s a mistake to identify the health care industry with free market principles. What “markets” afford the same level of product and/or service to everyone regardless of the means to pay? The current state of health care (before, during, and after the ACA) is a “shell game” mentality to placate those of us who fund the system.

@SWFL Agent; I can’t foretell the composite plans’ eventual details. But CHANGES to the way the market works is a vital detail that needs to happen. I suggest that INTERSTATE (companies) FOR INCREASED COMPETITION (‘IFIC’ in my phrase clue) will help to improve how the market treats insured risks.
If you have an auto policy and your insurance company gives you %&^@$ when you make a claim, you have other auto insurers to jump to, due to significant competition in that line of business.
I’m unsure of all of the details regarding licensing health insurers across state lines…. that’s not in my job description ;) … but that’s one thing almost certainly holding up the plan’s release.
Consider the willingness of insurance companies to cooperate with the federal government if they were promised ‘a piece of a bigger pie’. Something that may make sense … if it happens. Stay tuned.
To tell you anything further is to predict the untrustworthy politicians will do the right thing.

@Ron; now that I think about it more, POTUS Obama DID call for the US to ignite, er, unite. … with Iran, Cuba, the EU, etc.
And, lately, he’s been caught in end-of-term-in-office or post-term-in-office actions that contradict the type of unity you suggest he called for;
Please note that Jarrett was born in Iran and raised there until age 5. Later in life, she divorced her husband of 5 years after 1 year of separation;
To one reporter’s emailed question about her divorce, she replied, “Married in 1983, separated in 1987, and divorced in 1988. Enough said.”
It seems to me, from reading that terse quote, she has something to hide.
And, would HillaryCare, if it passed, have prevented this?;
William Jarrett died in 1993 at age 40, and at the time of his death was director of obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Park Hospital.

The Democratic response was widely panned and Rachel Madcow herself said it was very weak. 9 minutes by this old dude from Kentucky with no political future? Is that the best they have in the bullpen? Republicans have nothing to worry about from the Progressive Socialist Democratic Party for a few decades at least.
I love it that your take a way from the Dem’s response is not “let me respond intelligently about what they had to say”, but is to ask “why was that guy talking?” Not surprising you choose style over substance.
The response is not supposed to be a full speech. I thought he hit on key points in regards to the Democratic approach to President Trump’s agenda. They are willing to compromise when it benefits the country, but not if it goes against their core values as a party.
I also like that they are attempting to expand and appeal to those outside of their core base.
It sounds like they are beginning to understand why they have failed in 2010, 2014 and 2016.
Yes Ron, I am sure you and Confused were really excited about that rebuttal and the “core” values of Democrats. That was why they got beat. By the way, the stock market is hitting new highs today with the good news of Trump and his policies.
I would not say excited, but I did appreciate the message.
So, when the stock market was hitting historic highs during President Obama’s term, where was your praise? Oh yeah, you were too busy telling us that the stock market is not a true indicator of the health of the economy overall.
The stock market isn’t the ONLY Thing that will recover under TrumPresident, Agent, and Ron, as it was under Obama.
TrumPresident will bring about a recovery of JOBS from foreigners, in our midst or overseas. And TrumPresident will bring about a return to LAW & ORDER in the USA, where ICE and POLICE get to do their jobs…. effectively. Finally, TrumPresident will also bring about a rebuild of the US military, so they can protect us from TERRORIST threats abroad that would harm us overseas or infiltrate our shores.
Polar, just saw another article that shows how low Progressive Socialists go to insult and demean good people. This guy Dan Grilo, a former aide/volunteer for Hilliary and Obama had the gall to attack the sweet widow of the Seal that was recently killed gathering intel in Yemen. President Trump acknowledged her husband as a warrior/hero and it was very emotional and she received a very long applause and everyone stood except for half the Democrats and those weird women in white???? Well, this Grilo weirdo said she was an idiot for clapping and Trump was just using her.
It seems this dude actually had a job and worked for a firm called Liberty Advisors Group. His comments led to his firing today for his conduct. Another Progressive Socialist gone to now apply for unemployment and thousands more to go.

Here’s why the Kentucky ‘political (“forced”?) retiree’ gave the Dems’ response; he has no political future, so he could say anything highly acerbic in response to TrumPresident and it would do no damage to his future.
Polar, why didn’t the Dems have Lie-a-watha give the response? Isn’t she the rising star of the Democratic Party? I guess they just didn’t want any more rants from her to make them look worse than they already are.
Ron, my character is just fine. I know right from wrong. I don’t like the message Progressives give no matter who gives it for that side. By the way, they lost and elections have consequences.

@Ron; please re-read my post and pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the question mark I placed after “forced”. ‘k thanx.

By the way, re-listen to the audio of his reply to try to determine to which political party he belonged. I’m still confused, but not as confused as is ‘confused’.
However, forced retirement implies being removed for reasons outside of a statute, such as incompetence or lack of capacity to fulfill the duties of the position.
Yes, he made a mistake. But, I believe the message was far more important and well delivered.
I’m still confused as to the former KY Guv’s political affiliation. Maybe PriceWaterhouseCoopers wrote the script and posted it into his teleprompter? Oopsy!

@Ron; Sessions didn’t lie under oath. He answered Frankenfraud’s loaded, slick question as it was phrased.
The distinction you fail to recognize is Sessions’ role as a US Senator on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee versus his role as a supporter of Trump’s campaign.
Sessions’ role as a US Senator requires interaction with foreign diplomats, including Russian diplomats, just the same as ALL OTHER members of that Committee as well as other US Senators involved in foreign policy.
Revisit the EXACT wording of Al Frankenfrauds’ question.
Revisit Sessions’ reply.
Wait for, if it hasn’t already been published, Sessions’ amended testimony, to clarify his response was in reply to the question by Frankenfraud as he phrased it.
Then decide, based on the WHOLE story.

@Agent; I think the tradition is that the reply is given by someone in the party who is outside the main stream, so the multi-party fossil from Kentucky fitted the bill well. But many other possibilities existed for the role.
I don’t think Faux-cahontas was in a good position to do the reply as she was sitting on the floor for the TrumPresident speech. She couldn’t think fast enough to make a coherent reply. And Dem party upper echelon probably were concerned she would lie if she didn’t have time to research the facts or statements by TrumPresident. The same concern with lying goes to Blumenthal and many other Dems who were caught lying in the past.
Polar, well, they couldn’t have found anyone more out of the main stream than that dude was. He did seem a bit confused about his party affiliation, didn’t he? Even Bernie knows he is a Communist and doesn’t mind bleating all the tenets of it.

Not off-topic; i.e. it is health care related:

I made a mistake in med treatment named above.
Should be ‘Colindectomy’, not ‘Colinoscopy’.

@Ron; if Agent failed to state WHO was the messenger, you’d likely accuse him of making stuff up to fit his neo-con Nazi, Fascist, hater agenda. Or, something like that. Amiright?

Speeches mean next to nothing when it comes to politics. A great speech is only as great as the actions that follow it. There is an utterly terrifying unison of delusion that has spread through the Republican party. If supporters of this administration do not have the ability to acknowledge corruption, social elitism and outright dishonesty when it occurs they themselves are no longer worth acknowledgement. To all who see what is truly happening in our country at the moment : leave this blog. Your voice merely bounces off the echo chamber of the oblivious Right. To all who continue to defend treason committing criminals : you are known and will be remembered for your actions. There is no longer any point of debating here. There is no longer any point of even attempting to educate, enlighten or even learn from the ‘other’ side. I would say, “don’t drink water from a well that is clearly lined with poison” but honestly…there is no longer a well. There is only poison. America as we know it is gone.
Hi AgenTroll! Thanks for insulting C-t-T. It was nice to read your off-topic message with the deliberate intent of provoking them into an emotional response.
Confused, don’t look now, but CtT was already emotional long before I said anything to him. I would say he fits nicely into the snowflake category of Elitist Progressive Socialists that don’t yet realize they lost. There is a new sheriff in town and Elections have consequences.
@Agent; ignore the troll melting down. You’ll just cause a meltdown hotter than Chernobyl and Fukushima combined, and this board may have to be radioactively cleansed by the IJ staff!

@Agent: “Conserving the Truth” may actually be one of the posters who was “Concealing the Truth” by employing BOTs.
As you indicate, IJ is preserving a degree of freedom for both sides to comment/ speak freely on IJ, but still observe board rules, by countering the use of BOTs through IT revisions.
Thus, ‘CTT’ may be recently melting down due to his inability to “conceal the truth”.
@Confused: what is ‘stable’ about the post by Conserving The Truth to which Agent replied? Most people would categorize the rant as a meltdown or a similar term.

Another non-cerebral celeb libitteral joins the political fray… via his personal Brexit;
Personally, I think he’s doing it to gain publicity as a ‘(tax) refugee’ who wishes to avoid the pervasive, inhumane, and punitive taxation in the UK. Socialism will lead to that, every time.
TrumPresidents’ MAGA will include lower taxes for nearly everyone. But I wonder about tax rates for new citizens arriving as refugees from punitive taxation abroad?
Finally, I have some advice for Captain Pick-a-card: ‘Resistance is futile’. ROOAAARRRRR!
Hilarious Polar. Captain Pick-a-card was never William Shatner as well. Couldn’t stand that show and it is shown on BBC all the time. He could be coming here to get an operation. I recommend Bill Paxton’s surgeon.
I suspect, if you are correct about Jean Luke Pick-a-card venturing where no LiBrit has gone before, for medical care/ an operation, it will most likely be for hair plugs or Rogaine. May his newly grown hair be orange!
Perhaps BriTax Refugee Stewart can – – – instead of resisting the inevitable changes in the US, back toward personal freedom, upholding US Constitutional laws, taking personal responsibility, and embracing capitalism – – – embark on a 5 year mission to Baldly go where no man has gone before, to map the entire surface areas of Al Gore and Rosie O’Donnell?

Polar, I know you invented the term “libiterals” to those that oppose you on this forum. I thought of a new name, “liboterals” since they like to hide you if they can. Perhaps the new system will keep more of your posts up.
By the way, nice humor on your Pic-a-card comments.
BTW; Stewart had no way of knowing one of his catch phrases on The Space People show (an elderly relatives’ description of ST – II) would several decades later come back to bite him on his arse when he embarked on a life-end mission to explore the outer bounds of hypocrisy and socialism.
Polar, is ActUranium meltdown the same guy as Conserving the Lie? Both are melting down in front of our eyes. Multiple monikers do not hide the truth. Keep on speaking it!
Look for my comments and analysis Tuesday afternoon.
Tuuuuuuesday afternooooooon, I’m just beginning to see… a better plan than that pushed into law by ‘Pee-Low-No-you-can’t-see’.
Liberals who claim the ACA R&R will result in fewer people covered.
That ignores the eventual smaller number of people insured after the ACA Death Spiral causes a collapse of the HI market, and very few people are accepted by the residual insurers.
So, the PROPER comparison of ‘ACA R&R’ vs. ‘ACA as is’ is that of X insured vs. a meager percentage of X insured.
The liberal news media is perpetuating the LIE about a lesser number insured if ACA is repealed and replaced. Fake News! Very Fake News!
Polar, the liberal Demoncrats also perpetuated the lie that seniors would lose their Medicare & Social Security if they elected a Republican to office. That never happened and Florida seniors didn’t fall for that line again in November.
Baxtor,
If that is the case, then I retract “hypocritical” from my statement.
@Ron;
I am almost an Independent, but I can’t run because of the requirement that candidates for office be human, not bears.
I also agree that this is the correct approach by President Trump.
Over/under on the percentage that Yogi or Agent will remember us AGAIN saying we agree with something Trump is doing? I say 25% chance they’ll remember. You want the over or the under?
If I approach this like an actuary and use historical data/information, I would take the WAAAYYYYY under.
Bait seen. Bait ignored. Troller fails.
Since this post was not directed toward you and your input was not wanted, I am not sure why you posted this.
Check the thread indentations to determine my response was directed at confused’s comment.
‘k? Thanx.
Confused’s original post was directed to me, only. Get over yourself, you’re not that special.
I’m not interested in YOUR interpretation of the rules of this comment board.
My screen name was mentioned, and I responded. Got a problem with that? …. take it up with IJ staff. Let us know if they think you’re as special as you think.
This guy acts like a total loser, what a joke.
So Confused and Ron, apparently Polar and I have won you over to the Trump side. Let’s see what you have to say after the speech tonight. I would take the over/under that you will go right back the way you were.
Let’s not go too far. We both said that we would acknowledge when we agreed with President Trump. We keep our word.
It is up to President Trump and his actions to win me over completely, not you or any other poster here.
Don’t be so smug Agent – you and Yogi had nothing to do with this. As Ron said, we told you before we will post when we agree with President Trump and this is one of those times. It’s got nothing to do with you two jokers.
Confused, so the thousands of emails by Polar, Bob & I have no impact at all on your tiny brain, right? I thought so. Keep on trolling.
Hi AgenTroll! Thanks for the insult. It was nice to read your message with the deliberate intent of provoking me into an emotional response. Have a great day.
Confused, weren’t you the one trying to stir the pot with Yogi and I? I guess you can dish it out, but can’t take it so go back to being a sore loser cry baby.
Agent,
You started it by pulling a Trump and take credit for something for which you did nothing.
You brought yourself and Yogi into this conversation, buddy. I just said you were wrong since you two jokers had nothing to do with me praising Trump for this action.
To borrow a phrase from the NY troll, your reading comprehension has failed you once again. Five posts before I ever said anything and you were gleefully making bets on mine or Yogi’s response. That is what Progressive trolls do. Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves, but I know you very well by now.
@Agent; ignore the trolls. ignore the bait. Trollers will fail and try another bait…. and fail.
This confirms part of my clue; i.e.
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS
I hope they include all necessary changes. I’ll do a tally after the plan and state legislation is published.
Tonight, TrumPresident mentioned several of the criteria I included in my clue… but not all.
Here’s a couple;
(to borrow from Nancy Pelosi Galore).
https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2017-03-01/republicans-hide-latest-obamacare-draft-under-shroud-of-secrecy
Apparently, the Republicans read these IJ comments and want to further frustrate Libitterals who want to know NOW what’s in their bill.
Thanx.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with Ron
Confused, did you realize you called Ron a clown. I am sure he appreciated an insult from you.
I didn’t realize that, because that’s not what I said.
Thanks for agreeing I didn’t insult you, Ron. Thought what I posted was pretty clear, and even a little bit clever since it’s been sung for around 45+ years now!
But, of course, Democrats did, and their supporters do”
http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2017/02/27/442850.htm/?comments
“[The plan] will be [released] essentially simultaneously….The same day or the same week…[that Price is approved by the Senate]”
I only expected the plan to be released in that time frame because that’s what our President told us. Got it?
Blah blah blah. Troll troll troll.
The two most vociferous libitterals are on a roll.
@Libitterals;
My advice to you is to watch the President tonight. You may actually learn something.
I did and all I learned is that when President Trump reads someone else’s words on a teleprompter, he sounds more presidential.
Otherwise, from a health care replacement, it was just a compilation of his campaign speeches. Still no details.
You have obviously ignored my clue, posted MANY times.
Once more;
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS.
The only reasonable response to an ignorant reply by a Libitteral is ‘watch and learn, junior’.
Hint: distrust of the free market = Socialist who think people are too stupid to chose wisely. Socialists and Communists often say they are ‘Progressive’ or ‘Independent’; e.g. Sanders, Gruber, Pelosi, Reid, Warren.
How much political power do the above 5 Socialists/ Communists/ Independents have these days; i.e. after 11/8/16?
I do not distrust the free market any more or less than I distrust the government. They both serve a purpose in our great country, but need to be checked.
Balance balance balance.
Check check check.
The Republicans in the US are in control.
The Socialist Democrats, however, are a totalled wreck.
@Agent; I watched. Apparently, Pelosi wasn’t enamored or enthused by any of TrumPresident’s speech … (don’t view before, during, or shortly after eating breakfast)…
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C5zxvh9WYAAT_jl.jpg
{from Drudgereport.com front page}
Good one Polar. Did you notice how quickly the Dems exited the room after the speech? Trump was the bird dog and the Dems were the quail who had been flushed out.
This was a great speech which set the tone going forward. We FINALLY have a strong President who will not be leading from behind like the previous POTUS.
Actions speak louder than words. President Obama also gave plenty of great speeches calling for the country to unite. How did that work out?
Did you see the Democratic response? That was also a great speech.
The Dems are generally very old, and have weak bladders, so they had to rush to their restrooms of choice based on their gender identity preference last night.
I’ll bet the water pressure in DC dropped significantly about 5 minutes after the end of TrumPresident’s speech (including a lecture to the Dems). Wooossshhh!
Hey Ron, we didn’t call Obama the Divider in Chief for nothing. He managed to completely divide this country along racial, economic, gender and cultural lines like no other President in history.
Trump has his work cut out for him to re-unite this country and get it back on track.
@Ron; now that I think about it more, POTUS Obama DID call for the US to ignite, er, unite. … with Iran, Cuba, the EU, etc.
And, lately, he’s been caught in end-of-term-in-office or post-term-in-office actions that contradict the type of unity you suggest he called for;
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4271412/Obama-confidante-Valerie-Jarrett-moves-Kaloroma-home.html
Please note that Jarrett was born in Iran and raised there until age 5. Later in life, she divorced her husband of 5 years after 1 year of separation;
To one reporter’s emailed question about her divorce, she replied, “Married in 1983, separated in 1987, and divorced in 1988. Enough said.”
It seems to me, from reading that terse quote, she has something to hide.
And, would HillaryCare, if it passed, have prevented this?;
William Jarrett died in 1993 at age 40, and at the time of his death was director of obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Park Hospital.
Please list all of President Trumps actions and./or proposed actions, not words, that will unite the country?
There are only 2 things that have ever united the people of this country; tragedies and war. Maybe President Trump could be classified as a tragedy.
@Ron;
1. won the Republican nomination.
2. won the Presidency of the US.
3. started to MAGA.
That’s all I got for now. Good enough for you?
Since 7 million more people voted for someone other than President Trump than for him, and his approval rating being below 50%, I would say the first 2 actions have been failures. As for the third, we’ll see. If he only makes America great again for old, white, heterosexual, rich, Christian men, then I would expect that action to fail also.
Nice try though.
Interesting how things have changed.
I’m glad I could clear up the ‘confusion’.
We’ll see
Polar, just saw another article that shows how low Progressive Socialists go to insult and demean good people.
@Ron; yes, you certainly will see. A wall, a bill, less regulations, less government, less crime, less illegal immigrants invading our sovereign nation, more affordable and available healthcare and health insurance, a conservative controlled SCOTUS, and more jobs for citizens. I must have forgotten a few things that you will see as TrumPresident goes about his job to MAGA.
“and everyone stood except for half the Democrats”
Talk about fake news!
This lie is not supported by the video of the speech where you can see that everyone stood up and clapped for the fallen soldier’s wife.
Agent,
Do you even understand the symbolism behind them wearing white and what they were standing up for?
Here’s why the Kentucky ‘political (“forced”?) retiree’ gave the Dems’ response; he has no political future, so he could say anything highly acerbic in response to TrumPresident and it would do no damage to his future.
He was not forced to retire. He served his 2-terms, which is the limit, as a Democrat in one of the reddest states.
Please get educated before posting.
Polar, why didn’t the Dems have Lie-a-watha give the response? Isn’t she the rising star of the Democratic Party? I guess they just didn’t want any more rants from her to make them look worse than they already are.
If you’re going to focus more on the messenger than the message, it says a lot about your character.
Ron, my character is just fine. I know right from wrong. I don’t like the message Progressives give no matter who gives it for that side. By the way, they lost and elections have consequences.
By the way, there were a few special elections held at the state level and Democrats thought they could flip some seats due to anti Trump movement. Sorry, it didn’t happen despite some heavy money given to Democrats. Voters have very little sentiment to go along with that agenda anymore.
Of course you think your character is fine and that you believe you know right from wrong. I believe the same thing about myself.
I really do not care whether or not any party is in charge. All I care about are results. If the country improves under Republican rule I will acknowledge as such. If it does not, I will hold them accountable. Unfortunately, due to lack of character, you will not.
@Ron; please re-read my post and pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the question mark I placed after “forced”. ‘k thanx.
But, technically speaking, isn’t a term limit law a means of forcing someone out of office (aka retire)? I’m just askin’.
By the way, re-listen to the audio of his reply to try to determine to which political party he belonged. I’m still confused, but not as confused as is ‘confused’.
PolarBeaRepeal,
Fair enough. I apologize.
Oopsy!
Ron, I held Democrats accountable for 8 years when you gave them a pass. The worst criticism you had was that you disagreed with “some” of his policies. He ran the country into the ground, tried to fundamentally change it and almost succeeded. Trump to the rescue! MAGA
Thank you for proving my point. All you care about is criticizing and blaming the opposition without being willing and/or able to hold your own party accountable.
I am assuming you are OK with AG Sessions LYING under oath to the Senate. This is not debatable. He was a asked a straight forward, legitimate question, and he lied, period.
You’ve posted quotes and misattributed them to wrong people ALL the time. Why do suddenly feel WHO said something is more important than WHAT was actually said?
Confused, you really need to stay up with the news. Even Democrats said this was a big mistake using the fossil to do the reply. He didn’t even know what party he represented. Beginning Alzheimers? Check it out on the internet before making further replies.
The 10 Commandments would be less important to you if a transgender millenial democrat brought them down from Mount Sinai on their cell phone, right?
After all, it’s not the message you’re focusing on here – you apparently care more about who delivered it.
Agent,
Since you like to focus on minor mistakes more than the whole message, what are thoughts on Sean Spicer tweeting that President Trump has been confirmed as the new HUD Secretary?
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/03/02/spicer-accidentally-tweets-that-trump-is-new-hud-secretary.html
Actually, Dirty Grandpa from Vermont honeymooned in Moscow, but will insist with his dying breath that he isn’t a Communist. He says he is a Socialist, not a Commie. IF so, then I’m confused by what he implies by those terms.
Anyhoo, it might be appropriate for Sanders to influence the legislators there to change the name of his home state to Vermoscow. Nas Zdrowie!
@Ron; I think Spicer should re-tweet to correct his error.
what do YOU think should happen?
a. resign and be replaced by Dan Rather-biased.
b. resign and be replaced by Lyin’ Brian Williams.
c. resign and go to prison.
d. face a firing squad.
e. do what Liberals do; deny and move on to the next story.
don’t forget about the least-used option in politics (political affiliations aside):
F: admit he made a mistake and apologize
PolarBeaRepeal,
I agree with you, he should just re-tweet to correct his error.
However, I was not the one to focus on a minor error to criticize an entire message. Just wanted to see if Agent has any capacity to remain consistent.
@Confused; if an APOLOGY is warranted for a mistake, then Barack Obama has a hyuuuuge number of apologies to make for ACA, Iran BaDeal, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Libya, the near doubling of the National Debt, etc.
Einstein Polar, communism and socialism are different ideologies. Sanders is not implying anything, he is directly stating a fact.
Your education on politics and economics is not even at a high school level, stop blabbing and spamming and read some books.
WARNING to conservatives reading this board;
There is a Level 2 ActUraniuMeltdown in progress!
This is NOT a drill!!!
PS to young IJ readers who are just now being exposed to political ideology….
Socialism is distinct from Communism.
Socialism often leads to Communism.
Consider yourself warned and edified.
Polar, a bit off topic, but did you hear that Colin Kaepernick, the new free agent from the 49’ers hired a new agent to search valiantly for a new team in the NFL. He has now suddenly decided he could be talked into standing for the National Anthem. Think that will make a difference to the owners of the other teams? Perhaps he can get a gig in Canada where he can be anonymous and not have to hear that National Anthem again.
Once again, more focused on the messenger and delivery than the message.
Not off-topic; i.e. it is health care related:
SF 49ers are an isolated instance of enjoyment of a Colinoscopy.
Wow, Conserving the Lie. Your statement might merit a padded cell in a nearby insane asylum.
Another non-cerebral celeb libitteral joins the political fray… via his personal Brexit;
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/03/patrick-stewart-applying-us-citizenship-fight-donald-trump/
If he picks Joe Biden’s hair plug guy, he will be disappointed in the results. Maybe Rosie O’Donnell will lend him some hair from her arm pits.
The IJ IT guys neutralizing the BOTs used by LiBOTerals will yield another example of the phrase “Resistance is futile!”.
Actu is UraniuMelting down… thus the combination of his screen name and his level 2 meltdown hotter than Chernobyl and Fukushima combined.
Other Libitterals are melting down in different ways. But I have no clever word combo for their conditions.
Look for my comments and analysis Tuesday afternoon.
Tuuuuuuesday afternooooooon, I’m just beginning to see… a better plan than that pushed into law by ‘Pee-Low-No-you-can’t-see’.
http://energycommerce.house.gov/sites/republicans.energycommerce.house.gov/files/documents/AmericanHealthCareAct.pdf
The important criteria that I previously mentioned were given by
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS. Analysis of the ACA R&R’s attainment of the required criteria will be posted tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Late night thought:
Ban yourself from here for gross incompetence when it leads to fewer insured then.
