But what about actually reforming the underlying issues? What about losing that awful web site.
Due to some glitch in that web site, I find myself currently without insured. Spent well over three hours on the phones with their 800 pin heads. Finally after over three hours, I get hold of a supervisor that says he will send a request to the carrier to reinstate with out lapse. He tells me he don’t know why it took three hours to get the request sent over.

FFA, don’t you have a card with a 1-800 number on it to call the carrier? Surely, you don’t have to go to the Healthcare.gov website to find out info on your account. I have some Blue Cross customers who complain about the wait times for customer service, but eventually get through. There is no excuse for poor service. Hope you get it resolved.

Need a funny for the day Polar? Steve Doocy interviewed the Commie Ezekiel Emanuel who was one of the architects of the disaster along with that lying MIT professor Gruber and Doocy asked Emanuel what he thought of the Republican plan to replace Obamacare. Need I tell you what Emanuel had to say?

I’ve watched a few interviews of BOTH of those amateurs and laughed at some of what they said. As for the other stuff they said, I either scratched my head in confusion as to why they thought what they said would get by people who understand insurance, or my jaw dropped in amazement that the host didn’t challenge them on claims that ACA is working because the rate of growth is LESS than their artificially (intentionally?) high estimates of the rise in costs projected. The key is the artificially high, intentionally deceptive, projections that make the actual results look like a good result when it is NOT.

Expending any effort to refute those two sideshow barkers is a waste of time. The Fox hosts, Carlson (Tucker, not Gretchen) and Doocy, didn’t do as well as one particular Polar Bear would do in those situations. They revealed some of the flaws and lies purveyed by those two snake oil salesmen. While I think of it, ACA may be best referred to as ‘political snake oil’ sold by Nancy Pee-Low-See-It-After-We-Pass-It, Harry ‘Rubber Band Man’ Reid, etc.

Manafort has been identified by the AP as having ‘worked for’ Russians in the past, supposedly including Putin. But when you read the details in the AP article, it says the type of work he did isn’t clear. LOL!

Second, the investigation has not concluded. If it has, please provide proof and cite your source.

Finally, the FBI does not indict, grand juries do when a case has been presented by a prosecutor.

The investigation into HRC was announced by other sources who learned about it…. and since she was running for POTUS, the FBI leader HAD TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE INVESTIGATION and bring it to a conclusion in an unbiased manner. He did but announced there was no bad ‘intentions’, thus no indictment should / would be sought / suggested, BOTH of which are outside of his authority / responsibility.

The term you now need to focus on, in light of the Devin Nunes announcement is ‘unmasking’. Read it carefully and avoid distractions made by Phony Comey.

No single person has been the director for the last decade, Einstein. The Republican Comey has been head for 4 years and before that it was a Mueller who was registered as a Republican according to reports at the time of his appointment, but he was viewed as mostly apolitical.

            @UW;

Continuing to avoid the point about Comey’s bias won’t invalidate it.

The HRC investigation disclosure by the FBI was forced by CONGRESS looking into the several matters arising from the Benghazi Hearings.

The FBI should have disclosed what they learned about Trump OR ended the investigation much sooner than what happened. The investigation WAS POLITICAL, and NOT warranted by a Congressional investigation / hearing on Trump. Trump never had a Benghazi incident to be investigated by Congress.

As far as your other idiotic comments, they aren’t worth my time now…. perhaps ever. They show your inability to focus on the key issue of BIAS by the FBI, which will be further exposed by the members of NSA who are now coming forward with diclosure of the unmasking that was initiated in the Obama Admin BETWEEN Election Day and Inauguration Day. The FBI’s Comey said he wouldn’t investigate it. NSA agreed to investigate it. THAT IS THE BIAS OF Comey, as simply put as anyone can. If you are so dense you don’t understand that, then it is not worth ANYONE’s time to have ANY discourse with you. You THINK you’re a clever millenial but you’re weaknesses are in plain view.

Except there isn’t a shadow government, only stupid people are making that claim. Also, the article you link, which incorrectly summarizes another article, doesn’t even support your claim and isn’t based in reality. Nunes has said they weren’t “unmasked” because he has been changing his story (again, this is for the sake of argument, you have proven you are neither honest nor educated enough to discuss this, and you lack the reading comprehension to get informed on it even if you wanted to). But, even if they were the case, as it may be, there are legal ways for this to occur.

I just want the truth in plain english: What is the plan? Do the elderly and disabled get lower rates, prescriptions and co-pays or higher like i have read? What if you cant afford a HSA? Is there still a fine if you dont have insurance? Tax credits wont help people who are on pensions or Soc. Sec. that is not taxable, so how does that help them? I want real answers

Got some news for you NormaJean. Social Security benefits are taxable. The Democrats made sure of that many years ago when Al Gore cast the deciding vote to do so. Also, LBJ brought the Social Security Trust Fund into the General Fund to pay for his War on Poverty. Did that eliminate poverty in the US despite trillions spent on it?

Significantly higher, if they can even afford it. If you cannot afford a HSA you get emergency care treatment when there is an emergency, and then have that debt for the rest of your life, or until you go bankrupt. There is no fine for not having insurance. Tax credits will do absolutely nothing.

Also, they are effectively doing away with Medicaid by turning it into a block grant system. This has proven in the past to kill programs after making them much worse, and that is of course the point. Also they are tying the increases in any Medicare/Medicaid programs to inflation under CPI, which is the price of all products, instead of the inflation in health care prices. Health care prices are increasing much faster, so after 5-10 years you will be covering 40-60% more even on Medicare/Medicaid.

Correct, UW. But don’t worry, the rich are getting a huge tax cut. Remember, they are the “job creators”, which is a bunch of BS when anyone with a brain understands demand isn’t going up. Why give someone a job if you are producing enough to meet demand with the workforce you have. Not to mention, most jobs are being replaced by AI and robots. Anyone here know the name Charlie Kingdollar from Swiss Re? I absolutely love listening to the guy. He has been researching emerging issues for about 35 years now. I recently attended a seminar where he stated robots will replace 50% of all US jobs in the next 10-20 years. 58% of these jobs will be in the ag sector and 73% in the food industry. Job creation is a myth. We should be investing in job evolution. Especially when you add in the fact 5.6M jobs in America were lost to automation between the years 2000-2010.

Dems are having a UraniuMeltdown over Rep. Devin Nunes non-disclosure to them, going instead directly to the WH to report on what he discovered about ‘surveillance’ perhaps mostly without a FISA Court order…

    http://www.politico.com/story/2017/03/devin-nunes-donald-trump-surveillance-obama-236366

That serves them right for shutting Republicans out of the ACA hearings / meetings. But this is really not about revenge as much as the fact the Dems will twist what they might be told and inform the Liberal Media so it can distort or conceal the truth.

So he went and told classified information about the investigation to the person being investigated, Trump, but it’s a non-disclosure. Ok, that’s pretty stupid, even for you.

It’s arguable whether you are even literate, you have no clue about FISA or anything related to what is legal here. According to what this treasonous leaker revealed this was incidental collection which does not generally need a FISA warrant because they were communicating with people deemed to be terrorism or espionage threats and already under surveillance. These are the laws by the way Republicans have pushed for years.

According to Nunes this wasn’t related to Russia so they are under investigation for coordinating with Russia AS WELL as ADDITIONALLY being caught communicating with other groups and people deemed espionage threats and under counter intelligence surveillance. Why are these guys dealing with so many criminals and enemies of the state, and is there anything they can do that conservatives will not accept?

His campaign manager, the #2 person in the campaign behind Trump, took money as a Russian agent and laid out a plan to reduce democracy and weaken the US. A party of traitors and un-American trash.

Actual line in his link: He noted that there are about 20 people in the intelligence community who, for intelligence reasons, can order this “minimization” be removed.

My summary: Unmasking may have been illegal (and if so, those who did it should be punished), but it could also be 100% legal if it was ordered by one of the 20 specific people who have that power.

Let’s learn WHO did it before we say if it was done legally or not.

For a moment I am choosing to disregard any malice/annoyance I may feel toward you and do my best to understand your plight. You want me to be wrong regarding Trump/Russian collusion because if I am right you will certainly feel a great deal of regret/remorse. If I am right…well, Trump is not only the worst President to ever lead our country but perhaps one of the worst politicians to ever exist. If I am right everything you have been fighting for will have been in vain.

I ask you to consider this, though. What if I am right? What if the stories are true? What if Trump did lie and continues to lie? Let us not disagree further regarding the facts but instead ponder the possibility. What if I am I right? What then? What happens if I am right, Polar? I ask this sincerely. If I am wrong I will apologize for spreading what turned out to be false information. What happens if you are wrong?

One additional follow-up on Yogi’s claim of illegal unmasking:

“Schiff disputed Nunes’ suggestions that there was improper ‘‘unmasking.’’ He said that after speaking with Nunes, it appeared that the names of Americans were still guarded in the intercepts though their identities could be gleaned from the materials.”

So they legally collected the info and didn’t unmask anything.

Apparently this is more important than a person, who is part of an independent investigation, sharing evidence with the suspect of the investigation before discussing it with the committee.

The names were NOT guarded… it was a document disseminated among ALL intel agencies AFTER Obama changes the disclosure rules a FEW WEEKS BEFORE HE LEFT OFFICE.

Later, info was leaked to the media…. e.g. Flynn.
