Obamacare Explosion More Like a Slow Burn for Now

The term ‘exploding’ is Trumperbole. Pay no attention to his sensationalism of the circumstances and focus on the underlying problems that must be addressed in a more conservative and less liberal manner in future bills.

Hopefully, the TrumPresident has learned a valuable lesson about negotiations and “the art of the deal” regarding several political factions that are involved, rather than one or two contractors or materials suppliers he usually partnered with in real estate/ hospitality deals.

Q: What is the difference between an explosion and rust? A: time.

The death spiral of the ACA occurs in annual phases, as rates rise for each annual renewal season. Current PIFs are tolerable to those who get subsidies or free coverage from the federal government. But 2018 isn’t far off and the rate projections by actuaries will be available in late summer or early fall. That’s when the bear poop is gonna hit the wind far turbine propellers!

This is a reasonable neutral article with adequate details on what is occurring now, what may happen, and who may ‘politically blame’ whom for what happens in the future. Hopefully, Libitterals will ACTUALLY READ it before, not AFTER, they PASS [judgement on] it.

Polar, pay no mind to the usual paid Sor-ass losers commenting and down voting you. You speak the truth and Conservatives will not be silenced. By the way, how do you like the Climate Change people getting their heads handed to them and the Sanctuary cities going to be cut off. Trump is doing all the right things to MAGA.

When it gets hot in the Summer, Climate Hoaxers will return in droves to write online “I told you Conservative idiots and Trumpsters this would happen” … or some variation thereof. But, worry not; like mosquitoes, they’ll buzz around for a while and go away when the weather turns cooler in the Fall.

TrumPresident is carrying out some of his campaign promises. The one I want most to see is Gorsuch approved by the Senate, whatever that takes to happen. Most of the rest will take time; e.g. building a wall on the boarder, repeal and legislate for removal and insurance industry replacement of reasonable coverage in lieu of ACA coverage, etc.

Well, those Sanctuary cities Mayors are “hot” at Trump. They don’t want to be accountable to Federal Law. Too bad, so sad.

On Gorsuch, I don’t know why Republicans allowed another week for the vote. Delay, delay, delay and the result will not change because they will not find any dirt or eaves drop on any phone call that will disqualify a fine man.

In addition: With the same monitoring method.

You cannot just say one method has a margin of error of X and this one has it of Y so we will assume that we can simply combine the mean. That’s what they did.

And this doesn’t account for error either, I don’t mean margin of error. I mean different locations that are not well suited, different heights of said temperature monitors, monitors that we might not have ample documentation of where they were positioned in relation to a heat pipe, or alternatively, in a position where wind was shielding it or wind was not (making wind shield a factor). Etc.

Error of placement, instead of the margin of error.

This is why they have been consistently wrong in their projections. If you have a theory that never pans out, it isn’t a good theory. And when conservative say this they are not anti science. They are anti government compulsion facts. Sanders literally suggested prosecuting firms that denied climate change. Do you have a problem with this or not? Do you think your statements helps this? In fact, the DOJ admitted as such.

I thought no one could top DiBlasio as a failure Mayor because I didn’t anticipate Hillary running.

Hillary as MoNYC would end in a situation forecast by John Carpenter back in the early 80’s in ‘Escape From New York’. Perhaps the remake announced a few days ago wasn’t a coincidence with the rumors of Hillary as Mayor of NYC?

To the contrary, Celtica; my insight is based on valid input into the process that was used. The composite plan didn’t meet the proper criteria. Who is to blame is of no great concern to me now. I only await an improved bill(s) that address all the necessary criteria; e.g. cost controls.

            Regardless:

You have made numerous untrue statements about the ACA.

You’ve called it a republican plan, while also praising it for premium increases slowing (even though I gave links showing that had nothing to do with Obamacare) disregarded my CBO studies that said Obamacare would affect premiums negatively by comparison to the republican plan, have since used the CBO yourself to prove other things, and, apparently even though the republicans came up with the plan they get no credit, only blame, and somehow the ACA is only bad when you mention them, then suddenly you say everything wrong with the (totes magotes awesome ACA) is the fault of republicans. It would surely even be better than what it is, (which is a republican blueprint, see the hypocrisy yet?) if the republicans had nothing to do with it.

            Surely.

Yes, Yogi here has said a variety of inconsistent, untrue things, like; it’s not warming, it is but is natural, there’s no way to know because we can’t measure, the measurements are invalid because the stations are spread too far, you can’t use estimations to assign a value between a bunch of stations, scientists can’t account for altitude, unless all measurements are at the same altitude they don’t hold up statistically, scientists are creating fake data, it’s caused by the sun, and more.

We argued and his basic theory broke down to, there had to be stations blanketing the entire earth for it’s entire history for him to accept it.

He also said he had a degree in statistics, but didn’t know what a confidence interval was, or basic questions about simple regression analysis. He also doesn’t seem to work in the industry, but when he did he was an agent, or similar position that didn’t measure or need to care about risk.

All of these things are different points, and I don’t see an inconsistency among them. What specific inconsistency?

All of these could be argued to some degree.

“We argued and his basic theory broke down to, there had to be stations blanketing the entire earth for it’s entire history for him to accept it. ”

Saying we need more locations to get a good average is not equivalent to going totally all over the world blanket. You need multiple points of data. Even scientists agree here as they have been expanding the measurement points. And as they have, they averaged the old ones into the equation, and many times, we have seen they use different methods of measurement, different heights, different positions (maybe one has wind, maybe one has more sun) bad methods of compensating for this, and their projections never pan out. They are consistently wrong.

And yet we are to believe these equations, which are consistently wrong, and have not successfully predicted anything.

Apparently that’s what we should do. Not question things. And you call him a fool.

        Grow up UW.

Polar, the conversation has gone from the demise of Obamacare to Climate Change in a flash.

Newsflash: Anthem/Blue Cross just announced they were withdrawing from many of the exchanges still left. They were among the last holdouts trying to make a go of it. In many areas, there will not be any provider left to write coverage. As an agent of theirs, I got many bulletins that said they were “all in for the ACA”. Seems they finally came to their senses like all the other major carriers did months ago. Congratulations Libs, you have approved of the utter destruction of Healthcare in this country in the last 7 years.

The ACA death spiral continues with withdrawal of insurers and policyholders. This was planned by PEE_LOW_SEE_IT_AFTER_WE_PASS_IT to eventually crash the HI and healthcare industry markets and yield cries for Single Payer govt control. The VA Healthcare System is a microcosm of what would happen if that were to happen.

But, thank God Hillary was DEFEATED on 11/8 and sensible politicians can slowly unwind the damage done by ACA. Then, hopefully, the current government will step out of the way to allow the insurance industry to resolve all of the problems caused by Socialist Dems.

            Notes on Social Programs:

Medicare is about $33T in debt as of 9/30/16. Thanks, LBJ!

Social Security is about $29.0T in debt as of 9/30/16. Thanks, FDR!
