More empty promises from the GOP Senators? I don’t believe it.

Oh wait, this report is from the hyper-liberal, leftist-socialists at the CBO (ran by a GWB-appointee who has since been reprogrammed Manchurian Candidate style)!! DISREGARD THIS FAKE NEWS!!

CBO doesn’t have the tools or qualifications to do what they just did. Congress must hire TWO insurance consulting firms to do their basic projections. None of them will say ANYTHING about the accuracy of the CBO report beyond 5 years because they’re laughing too hard at the thought of CBO doing such projections.

This article was written by Scott Rasmussen whose work under Rasmussen Reports has one of the worst statistical margins of accuracy of any polling firm. His opinion on anything cannot be trusted to be bias-free, I am sorry. Would you accept me posting something the opposite from Huffington Post or MSNBC?

I appreciate you going out and actually finding an article to confirm your bias, but you should have gone to the source, which was actually written by a well-known person pushing for Obamacare’s repeal, Avik Roy for Forbes.com. He analyzes his thoughts on why the Senate’s bill won’t have the devastating effects that the CBO says it will, but in the end, it’s his analysis versus theirs. In the end, I guess that is part of what we will see. I am not so worried about healthy people choosing not to be covered, but I am worried about what that will do to the unhealthy people who will be kicked off their plans without the healthy people bringing up the pool average by their presence alone. Those unhealthy people may not be 15 or 22 million, but even if it is 1 million, would that still not be worth it? 100,000? 10,000? Are we so deadened as a society as to the welfare of our brother that we can allow anyone to suffer needlessly?

Also, today I learned that a government non-partisan office (CBO) is actually the Mainstream Media. Learn something new every day!

How much will the uninsured increase in 10 years if obamacare is left in place? Guessing that 22 million will be has no meaning without a comparison. Plus there currently are 10 million on obamacare now.

If you call completely misreading the content of a post and topic “being called out for fake news”, then yes, I am literally Fox News Incarnate.

Realist didn’t understand what he was responding to, and obviously you don’t either. We are still waiting on the proof of your claims, by the way…and your opioid/marijuana stats, and your proof that climate change is fake…and so on, and so on, and so on.

I take back the things I said about Bob. He and I vehemently disagree. I believe many of his arguments are disingenuous and cherry-picked, and he selectively argues his points, but he at least goes out and does his research, provides data to support his points and arrives at conclusions in a logical manner.

You, on the other hand, haven’t a shred of decency, your posts never make sense, and you have never, from what I can tell, back up your posts with any form of substance whatsoever. At least Bob in his zeal against climate change pulled a Fundamentalist Young Earth Creationist site out to support his assertions. You just state inequivocally that the data exists, tell us how easy it is to find, and then never take the 5 seconds to actually post it.

Then, you pivot to a new point. It is no surprise that you are consistently the only one who upvotes your posts. Even Agent won’t carry your water.

Simplified to make things easy: (if there were a crayon font on this site, I would use that for you here, with lots of pretty, bright colors, to boot)

Poster A asserts that “6 million lost their plans when Obamacare was passed.”

———> “When it was passed” meaning “upon its passing,” or “at the time it went into effect.” <————–

That claim sounded on the extremely high side, and knowing that Agent makes baseless claims frequently, I went out and researched different claims on different websites. Although a fact check site is what I decided to use to prove his assertion flat out false, I could have used many others. Since he disappeared after that drive-by crap-post, we don't know whether he posted a deliberate lie or if it was just a misconception that he believed.

            Still following?

Then, Realist said, "That article is 4 years old"

This was an ignorantcomment for multiple reasons:

            – It was actually 3 years ago. To support my argument, the equation is as follows: 2017 – 2014 = 3.
            – The article cites several studies and reports that shows that the most likely number is less than half of the claimed 6 million figure. Whether this article was written a month, a year, or a decade after Obamacare was implemented would have exactly the same worth. The claim being argued was the 6 million were cancelled upon implementation, and this says otherwise.

            Do you understand?

            Even more cut-and-dry timeline:

            1.Poster A says false thing.
2.I call him out for it.
3.Poster A disappears into the ether. A puff of smoke is all that is left behind (not that reefer that makes people worthless, just random smoke)
            4.Poster B says ignorant thing.
5.I eloquently explain why the comment was coming from a position of ignorance.
6.You vomit words onto your keyboard
7.I once again waste my life trying to explain logic in an illogical world.
8.You ignore this entire post, somehow claim victory and celebrate with a Totino's Party Pizza, microwaved to save time, folded like a taco and filled with ranch dressing.
9.Humanity continues careening towards the point of no return.

            Got it?

            PS:

If you want to respond to this post before IJ has a chance to delete it again (I took out almost all the "mean" words, so you can leave this one be for posterity), go ahead, but do not don't waste your time unless you can prove even the most minute of assertions you or Agent have made in the thread:

-6 million people lost their plans when Obamacare went into effect?
-fact-check.org has been revealed to be biased and fake news?
-The CBO is a worthless organization with no ability to do what they purport to do (make accurate, non-biased impact projections of budgetary changes.)
-People were forced to enroll in ObamaCare Plans
-The free market will come up with a way to cover people with diseases and disorders that will always be a money sink with no government oversight.

That is just the baseless assertions in THIS THREAD alone.

Every thread you post in becomes this mucked up with insanity. It would be amazing to see what kind of life you live if you devote this much of it to believing in and endorsing false precepts and principles.

The CBO is actually rather good at what they do on the whole. They do get estimates and projections wrong sometimes but their projections are almost always more reliable than the opinion of legislators on either side of the aisle (which is why they love to bash it as inept and partisan whenever they find it disagrees with them).

CBO stands for Comical Bull#$@& Office. Nothing they do on insurance systems can be accurate due to the complexity and their lack of expertise on the matter. Congress needs to hire an insurance consulting firm to do the estimates, then hire another such firm to provide a second opinion.
