Former Adjuster Pleads Guilty To Mail Fraud

An insurance adjuster faces a maximum sentence of five years and a $250,000 fine after pleading guilty to mail fraud in U.S. District Court in Lexington, Ky.

According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Wail J. Lodhi of Bradenton, Fla., promised to settle a Lexington man's workers' compensation claim for $75,000 in exchange for a $25,000 kickback.

The former adjuster for St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co., was arrested by postal inspectors in October, when he drove to Lexington to collect the kickback.
