The Texas Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (TAIFA) installed Michael E. Myers as its president during the association’s 77th annual convention in Austin recently.
A resident of Fort Worth, Myers has more than 31 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is an insurance specialist with Southwest Insurance Agency in Dallas, which is associated with SWS Group, Inc., a Dallas-based financial and investment services company.
Myers is the first TAIFA President to be associated with a New York Stock Exchange securities firm. He is a member and past president of the Fort Worth Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of the TAIFA Political Action Committee. He is also a member of the Texas Leaders Round Table, an honor organization affiliated with TAIFA.
