Richard L. Polizzi, president of Western Security Surplus (WSS) Insurance Brokers Inc., announced the opening of an office in Dallas, Texas. A former California employee and native Texan, Kyle Stevens has accepted the position of vice president, branch manager.
Stevens began his insurance career as an underwriter in the Pasadena, Calif. headquarters of WSS. Responsible for growing the business in the Dallas area, Stevens advises he has surplus lines markets for property, products liability, general liability, inland marine, professional liability, directors and officers, employment practices liability, excess/umbrella and more. In his new role, Stevens reports directly to Polizzi.
“Opening a Texas office has been a goal of mine for many years,” Polizzi explained. “With Kyle spearheading the operation, I’m confident the Texas office will become as much a success as our other branch operations.”
Stevens said, “Richard and I share the same business philosophies. I’m familiar with the Texas markets, and I’m happy to be ‘home’ again. I’m determined to grow this operation into one of Texas’ largest and finest.”
