Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Encore Insurance & Bonding Inc. of New Orleans, La., a full-service insurance agency which specializes in offering risk management and commercial property/casualty insurance services and bonding for clients in the marine, energy, oilfield and construction industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Encore’s Ron Schexnaydre, Howard Crosby and their staff will relocate to Gallagher’s current offices in New Orleans and operate under the direction of Mitch Brashier, Gallagher’s South Central regional manager.
