Insurance wholesaler and general agency, WCI Wood & Company of Texas Inc., announced it has added four staff members, including a new executive vice president.
Dan Whit joined the firm as executive VP. He previously held executive positions with another leading underwriting and brokerage company, where he had 19 years experience handling large commercial risks.
Helen Franz joins the company as a marketing account executive. Working primarily with oil & gas, general liability and property lines, she has served other insurance organizations in Atlanta, Dallas and Houston.
Joining Wood & Co. as account service representatives are Suzann Hightower and Sara Bates. Hightower is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, with a degree in insurance. Bates has been in the property/casualty insurance field since 1987.
