Plano, Texas-based InsBridge Inc. and Systems Consulting Services Inc. (SCSI), of Ellicott City, Md., providers of software solutions to the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, announced they are forming a strategic partnership to create a single solution to the issues surrounding processing of insurance applications and renewals.
The two companies announced that InsBridge will be incorporating the industry leading data access and management functions of SCSI’s Business Information Analysis System (BIAS) into its InsBridge RateManager Suite, a rating tool used in the P&C industry.
All stages of the rating process (i.e. underwriting, tiering, pricing, driver assignment, replacement cost valuation, etc.) require a combination of data from multiple sources (application data, internal data, and external data). The companies said this integration of products will give business and system users in the P&C industry a single product with a complete solution to the issues surrounding rating data interaction.
The RateManager Suite will be available with the integrated BIAS solution in the second quarter of 2003, for delivery in the third quarter of 2003.
