Dallas Fire Insurance Company, a Dallas, Texas-based writer of property and casualty insurance, announced it has been upgraded to a “B+IV” by the A.M. Best Company.
The company said the upgrade was due to positive underwriting results and significant capital infusions.
Dallas Fire was recently purchased by Charles David Wood, Jr., a resident of Dallas and a well-known entrepreneur. “Mr. Wood has always had the ability to produce positive results and we look forward to future increases in our rating,” said Gene Eisenmann, Jr., president of Dallas Fire Insurance Company.
