The Strategic Research Institute announced it will hold a one-day intensive seminar on “Insurance & Risk Management in the Oil & Gas Industry” in Houston on Oct. 27.
The seminar addresses the problems that trouble obtaining insurance, increasing cost and decreased coverage all create for oil & gas projects. Specific areas to be covered are: Making your company desirable to insurers; controlling insurance costs; solving common coverage problems; managing risk before the contract is signed; and meeting challenges in offshore insurance.
The seminar chairman is W.A. (Tony) Mayer, managing director of Marsh Marine & Energy.
