Houston-based SalvageSale Inc., which provides full-service salvage recovery, salvor services and loss mitigation for the commercial salvage markets, announced that senior insurance industry veteran Dan DeHart has joined the company as a director in its client services department.
DeHart has more than 30 years of commercial claims and risk management leadership primarily in the area of energy and marine-related claims. His addition enhances SalvageSale’s full-service loss mitigation capabilities available to insurers worldwide, especially in the marine, aviation and London markets. Formerly CEO of DeHart, Hopkins & Rodriguez, most recently he was employed in the risk management department of Continental Airlines, where he was responsible for aviation hull claims.
SalvageSale also added Kai Stratmann as an account manager. He has several years experience in the broker and risk management industries for Aon Risk Services and steel industry leader Benteler. Stratmann will focus on serving SalvageSale’s insurance captive clients.
These strategic additions enable SalvageSale to support the company’s growth in marine, aviation, energy, property and steel, the company said.
