Mandeville, La.-based FARA announced it hired Gene Abbey as premium audit manager, effective immediately. In this position, Abbey will be responsible for the operations and marketing of FARA Premium Audit Services.
“Gene is a 10-year veteran of the insurance industry,” said Tom Guidry, vice president of FARA Risk Control Services. “His expertise in managing physical and telephone audits makes Gene a great resource for insurance carriers needing premium audits.”
Abbey began his career in the insurance industry with Choice Point Community Specialists in Lansing, Mich. He served in sales as a national account executive and in operations as a branch manager.
FARA is a nationwide insurance third party administrator, providing risk management solutions and group benefits administration to insurance companies, self-insured corporations and governmental entities.
