The Central Texas Chapter of the CPCU Society (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters) announced it earned the Society’s Gold “Circle of Excellence” for outstanding achievement during the 2002-2003 chapter year. This is the fourth consecutive year for this new recognition program that distinguishes chapters as Bronze, Silver, or Gold, based on their efforts to achieve specific benchmarks in chapter performance.
CPCU Society chapters become part of the Circle of Excellence by completing activities that support the Society’s strategic plan, further chapter goals, and help to ensure members’ success. The Central Texas chapter was recognized during the CPCU Society’s 59th Annual Meeting and Seminars held in New Orleans, La., in October.
Members of the CPCU Society’s Central Texas chapter are involved in a number of educational, charitable, and volunteer events throughout the year and in the community, including collecting books and donations for Reading is FUNdamental, canned food for the Capital Area Food Bank, toys for Any Baby Can and Safeplace, pop tab collection for Ronald McDonald House and adopting Pleasant Hill Elementary School.
