Dr. Robert Hartwig, senior vice president and chief economist for the Insurance Information Institute, will be the featured presenter at a Southwestern Insurance Information Service Continuing Education Seminar, March 17, 2004, at the Westin Park Central Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
The topic of Hartwig’s presentation will be “Trends/Challenges in Property/Casualty Insurance Today.” The seminar, from 11:00am – 1:30pm includes a luncheon and has been certified by the Texas Department of Insurance for 1.5 hours of Continuing Education credit.
“We are fortunate to have arranged for Dr. Hartwig to appear at this SIIS Seminar,” said Sandra Ray, public affairs manager for SIIS. “He is a frequent lecturer in the U. S. and throughout the world on a wide range of insurance issues.”
His presentation will be based on extensive research and analysis and will focus on economic and market conditions affecting the insurance industry and the opportunities and challenges insurers will be facing in the future.
Hartwig has appeared before several U. S. Congressional Committees and Subcommittees, is frequently quoted in mainstream business publications and recurrently appears on national television network news shows.
