The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission (AWCC) announced that its 17th annual educational conference will be held Oct. 13 – 15, 2004 in Little Rock.
The conference traditionally mixes in-depth study programs with networking opportunities for stakeholders in the workers’ compensation system.
Keynote speaker will be Richard K. Pimentel, senior partner with Milt Wright & Associates, Inc., a California consultation firm involved in job retention, workplace attitudes and workers’ compensation. He spoke at the 14th AWCC Educational Conference and received overwhelming praise. Attendee comment cards were so positive that the AWCC has invited him back to address other issues challenging the workers’ compensation community.
Interested parties may click the AWCC Conferences button on the AWCC Web site, then check the “Education” heading for updated information throughout the spring and summer. Future news will cover speakers, program details, registration and pricing.
Registration packets will be mailed in June. Persons on the AWCC mailing list will be contacted automatically. Those not on the list who wish to receive registration material should contact the AWCC Support Services Division.
