Plano-based Legacy Texas Insurance Services announced the addition of Mark J. Rolland to its team, as account executive in the Austin area.
A 31-year veteran of the insurance industry, Rolland most recently served as president and chief operating officer for the Society of Certified Insurance Services in Austin. He was also senior vice president for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, leading the Business Development efforts nationally.
“Mark comes to us highly recommended and highly respected in the insurance services community. He brings with him a wealth of both industry and educational experience that Legacy Texas Insurance Services needs in this highly competitive market,” said Arvid Leick, president, Legacy Texas Insurance Services.
Rolland is an active volunteer in various community service activities and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Producer Insurance Studies, also based in Austin.
