The Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio announced it will host a windstorm insurance underwriting workshop in conjunction with the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. The workshop is scheduled for June 4, 2004, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
It will take place at the San Antonio CPA Continuing Education Foundation Training Center, Alamo Towers West – 901 NE Loop 410, Suite 420, San Antonio, Texas.
The cost is $15 for IIASA members and $65 for non-members. Costs include manual. Attendees can earn three hours of continuing education credit for general lines.
Along with basic information regarding coverages, applications, policies, endorsements and cancellations, additional subjects treated will include: Web quoting and submission of Web applications; commercial minimum; hurricane binding procedure; mold clarification exclusion; revised rates; and revised limits of liability.
