Kyle Stevens, vice president and branch manager of the Dallas branch office of Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers, announced that Ron Klimek has joined the company as production underwriter.
Klimek comes on board with a strong insurance background. He began his insurance career at the Allied Group in Des Moines, Iowa, where he worked as underwriter. After moving to Ft. Worth, he worked at Millers Group and then moved onto Maryland Casualty. Choosing to continue in the insurance carrier arena, Klimek spent the last six years at Zurich Insurance Services.
“I’ve always liked the challenge of working directly with agents and matching them with programs or brokering their unusual requests. Kyle has put WSS on the fast track here in Texas and I am excited to be a part of this enterprising operation,” Klimek explained.
According to Stevens, “Ron has an excellent background in many of our target markets and has proven himself a self starter. He will be a real asset to our growing operation.”
