Louisiana Department of Insurance Fraud Unit investigators served a former insurance agency employee with a cease and desist order barring her from working in the insurance business in the state, Insurance Commissioner Robert Wooley announced.
Investigators served Susan Poston, 27, of 603 Watson Drive, Natchitoches, with a C&D order that states, in part, that Poston kept premium payments taken from customers and forged signatures on applications for insurance.
In a related action, DOI fraud investigators served Danny Tullos Robertson, 58, a licensed insurance producer in Natchitoches, with notice of a $500 fine for allowing Poston to solicit, negotiate and effect policies of insurance while working for him, even though she did not have an insurance license and therefore lacked the knowledge, training and experience to properly serve the public in that capacity.
