Apparetly what happened here is the folks at team amber republished the original news report from this site, which is the way they work. They monitor news feeds and poach stories for republication, very professional.
The report that this was an Amber Alert was incorrect and this site made the correction. However, the TAA people had already republished the article without verification through the Louisiana State Police, so they needed to blame someone else (this site) for their lack of procedures.
Seems they are only interested in gaining as much traffic as possible from Google News rather than actually providing value to their users.
The Insurance Journal is to be commended for coming quickly to the aid of a fellow professional, not berated for making an honest mistake.
In the future, checking with codeamber.org, a Louisiana company which publishes VERIFIED Amber Alerts on the internet for all 50 states and Canada, will quickly verify the authenticity of any Amber Alert.
Ciao
Bubba
Cease false report that this is an amber alert.
why would they make it up? Are you the all-knowing amber alert guru?
It is fake & you know it. Disgusting for you to take advantage of the Amber Alert System in that way.
Grow up!
Well Bubba, you are not informed nor are you truthful in your post. We did not get it wrong nor did we poach a story as you would put it. As you know this content posted above is slander and libelous.
Code Amber LLC and so called Faux \”Public Charity\” Code Amber Foundation Inc in Oregon [not defunct] were not copied by us.
I originated the nets first dedicated alert notification portal, ticker and rss feeds. Alexa.Com\’s wayback machine project with the Smithsonian Institute will show that msnx.com, msnx.net and subsequent sites by us were the originators of this methodology. Also our volunteer were the one that in the begining were providing Bryant with content until his non profit intent were shown to be a ruse.
This paper made a mistake in their content which we challenged. We also carried the information as a missing media alert. This was not listed as an amber alert. An for the record when Bryant and you stop spreading lies pigs will fly without wings.
At least someone at this magazine was willing to do something for this parent. What is you agenda? My is to promote the Amber Alert Process globally. It does not enrich me nor anyone here. Bryant is for the profit. He and his partbers/former partbers it is all about their money.
I belive Amber Alerts and ALert notification as a whole should be profit capped. And that Broadcaster have a resposibility to use their bandwidth to promote accurate information. We watch and we report. Bryant Harper has done a lot. But mostly for himself. I spoke with Mrs. Norris and promised we will find and search for her killer. I do not use her daughter picture without permission and I do not use childrens pictures for request for donation unlike other organizations.
I strongly suggest this slander you have provided be removed. I can and have repeatedly proven our role and what we do freely for the public good. What exactly is your purpose and who motivated you to slander us and use this forum for libel. Should I sue who? you. Send me your name and address I would love too.
I am thankful this paper at least was trying to help someone. I do no hold that against them. I am not perfect and we all learn from mistakes. Bubba you are capable of learning but I won\’t hold my breath waiting.
