The Inland Marine Underwriters Association’s Southwest Advisory Committee announced that its March 22 seminar in Dallas will cover builder’s risk, underwriting medical diagnostic imaging equipment and the exposures that crane underwriters face. The seminar will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Crown Plaza Suites, 7800 Alpha Road (near 635 and Coit) in Dallas.
Pat Hampton of General Reinsurance will speak on builder’s risk issues, trends, and lessons learned. Michelle Hoehn of the St. Paul Travelers Companies will discuss medical diagnostic imaging equipment underwriting including breakdown exposures. David Ritchie, also of the St. Paul Travelers Companies, will tell seminar attendees about crane underwriting with a focus on exposures.
Registration and a continental breakfast start at 8:00 a.m. and extend to 8:30 a.m. when the seminar presentations begin. Application has been made for 5 hours of continuing education credits from the Texas Insurance Department.
The cost for the seminar is $65 for non-journalists and this includes a buffet lunch.
