Southwestern Insurance Information Service announced that Dr. Robert Hartwig, senior vice president and chief economist for the Insurance Information Institute in New York, will speak at a Forum sponsored by SIIS on Jan. 24, 2006, at 11:30 a. m. at the Intercontinental Hotel, 15301 Dallas Parkway in Dallas.
The subject of Hartwig’s presentation will be: “In the wake of disaster: an overview and outlook for the property and casualty insurance industry in 2006.” Hartwig is an internationally recognized authority on the current and future economic structure of the insurance industry.
