Insurance and risk management firm McQueary Henry Bowles Troy LLP (MHBT), announced the appointment of Trey Halbert as a consultant in the employee benefits group in the company’s Austin office.
“We are pleased to welcome Trey to the MHBT family,” said Keith Carmichael, president of the Austin office of MHBT. “Trey’s substantial experience in the field of employee benefits will further enhance the creativity and strength of the Austin team. We look forward to the expertise he will bring to the table for our clients.”
Halbert brings to MHBT more than 12 years of solid experience in the employee benefits industry, specifically in design and management of large accounts. Throughout his career, he has assisted hundreds of businesses throughout Texas with the creation, implementation and maintenance of their employee benefit programs, and has represented over 100,000 employees.
Prior to joining MHBT, he held positions of director of sales for Principal Financial Group and as group manager for Assurant Employee Benefits. Halbert also spent several years working exclusively with partially self-funded clients as a sales executive for Great-West Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.
MHBT is based in Dallas and also has offices in Fort Worth and Austin, Texas.
